Dieses typische Strandresort aus den 1920er Jahren besticht durch die Handwerkskunst und den Stil der Vergangenheit. Es bietet jedoch alle modernen Annehmlichkeiten, die wir erwarten, wie aktualisierte Küche und Badezimmer, WLAN und eine neue zentrale Klimaanlage. Der historische Charakter wird von unverputzten Ziegeln, originalen Hartholzböden, detaillierten Holzarbeiten und nachbearbeiteten, erhöhten Paneeltüren geprägt. Mit 4 Schlafzimmern und 2 Badezimmern wurde dieses bezaubernde Einfamilienhaus liebevoll gepflegt. Die 2. Etage hat zwei zusätzliche Schlafzimmer - ein geräumiges Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett, das andere übergroße Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten. Es gibt auch ein weiteres Badezimmer auf dem Flur. Alle 4 Schlafzimmer bieten großzügige Kleiderschränke, die nicht typisch für diese Epoche sind. Weitere Ausstattungsmerkmale sind ein Keller mit einer zusätzlichen Innendusche, viel Stauraum und eine Sitzecke. Es gibt auch eine Außendusche und zwei Parkplätze. Genießen Sie einen Kaffee auf der Veranda, während Sie das Klappern der vorbeifahrenden Pferdekutschen hören. Der erste Stock verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten und ein komplettes Badezimmer mit der originalen Eisenbadewanne. This was the absolute perfect place for our little celebration of our daughter’s 30th birthday! A fabulous house with comfortable rooms, each feeling completely tranquil and private. Common areas are fabulous and flexible. Easy kitchen for meal preps including the birthday feast of fish and oysters! Excellent, excellent neighborhood with easy proximity to town and beach. Would love love love to stay here again!

Location perfect. We were able to walk to Washington St mall, Congress Hall, and the beach. Very comfortable for 4 friends. We each had our own bedroom and shared the bathroom. Kitchen had all amenities. Driveway was a little tricky to back out of.

Absolutely a must stay for comfort and convenience to downtown Cape May!
This historic home has the necessary amenities expected in our lives today with all the charm of the 1920's era. My daughters and granddaughter stayed here with me for a few days to enjoy shopping on the mall and catch breathtaking sunsets on the beach. Both were extremely convenient to this location for walking to the beach or popping into a restaurant for a meal. It was perfect for picking up take out to enjoy back at the house, which is especially helpful for eating with a toddler in a home setting instead of a busy restaurant.
Even during off season the off street parking provided at the house was closer to the mall than trying to find a spot amongst the crowds on the weekend.
We were so pleased with this rental I could continue on describing why we loved it, but will just say we would definitely rent again and plan to do so next time we want an amazing stay in downtown Cape May!

Loved everything about the house except the beds. Mattresses were very uncomfortable and squeaked loudly when you made any movement. We would definitely go back if the bed situation was fixed.

Pleasant Off Season Getaway
There is something charming about an offseason vacation spent in a seaside town. The cottage provided a very convenient location to the center of town and the beach. Beyond our short jaunts to the lighthouse, a few playgrounds, and the zoo there was no reason to drive.
The house is an older craftsman that has been well renovated. It provided the perfect space for my family and my parents in that it was large enough for the kids and the adults to have their space, but also not too cavernous. An excellent place to stay.

Cozy and Convenient
We had a lovely time while residing in this charming bungalow. There was more than enough space for our foursome to spread out and relax. We couldn't have imagined a better location. A short walk to the beach to enjoy the sun and the sunsets. A short walk to shopping and dining in every direction. It was truly a pleasure.

Property was exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The checkin process with their reality company was very easy. The home is very well maintained and was perfect for our family. It was nice to have two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. Kitchen was well stocked with all the appliances you need. Just bring your towels and sheets and you are ready to go.

Nice place, convenient to everything
This is a quaint little house right in the middle of everything. We parked the car and walked everywhere except the winery (we used Uber for that). Just a 5 minute walk to Washington Street and/or the Beach. Kitchen had everything we needed, but we didn't cook so I can't speak to that. Everything was nice and clean. It was an older house with squeaky floors but that was part of the charm... really felt like we were in Historic Cape May with modern conveniences. We did the Historic Cape May Food Tour and it was the highlight of our trip.

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 7 fitting comfortably in this adorable house. I immediately noticed the cleanliness and was grateful for that considering we have 2 babies in the group who spent a lot of time rolling around on the floor.
You can’t beat the location, 2 blocks to the beach or 2 blocks to Washington Street mall; head just a few minutes the other way and you’re easily on your way to the lighthouse or sunset beach. I loved that we could walk everywhere! Cape May is our annual vacation spot and I hope to stay in this house again next year!
