Place was really spotless, photos are accurate, beachfront as described, parking is provided on premises, there are deck chairs and an umbrella that are reserved just for you. We requested a slightly bigger portions for breakfast and the host kindly approved our request.
One of the reasons we reserved this apartment was because it has washing machine, we thought it was free to use as there was no warning of surcharge on the booking listing. However when we arrived there was a note that it costs 10 dollars per cycle, which is pricey (few months ago i paid 3 francks, that's about 4 dollars, for a cycle in Switzerland, using Miele professional washing machine). But that wouldn't bother us if it was specified in the listing details.
Don't expect crystal clear water, but i doubt you can get that anywhere on Zanzibar without taking a boat trip.

Maria und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. ein und aus checken ging absolut problemlos.
toller Blick auf meer, mit Frühstück auf der Terrasse nach Wunsch. gut eingereichtete Küche und super Wasserqualität mit dem man sich sogar die Zähne putzen kann.

Vista mare, colazione preparata ogni mattina dalla signora Maria top, la spiaggia con lettini e ombrellone bellissima (alta e bassa marea), location molto sicura, la casa è vicinissima a due ristoranti italiani buonissimi Zenzero e Sofia sul mare e ad altri ristoranti locali. La signora Maria è super gentile, ci siamo trovati benissimo! Grazie

The view, private area at the beach
Nothing, although a pool would be the finishing touch, but we didn’t miss it.

Appartment is located on the top floor, it is spacious, we loved the view from the appartment. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was tasty. Communication was good. Kitchen well equipped. Nice restaurants in a walking distance, the same with small shops. Overall, we were very satisfied.
We missed drinking water upon arrival (but the guide helped us to get some at midnight when we arrived). Actually, it would help to have drinking water available for the whole stay, it is not expensive and would simplify things. We missed moscito nets, there were moscitos in flat, so we had to use repellent intensively. Electricity was not working one day (but it was for the whole area, so nothing to blame the owner for).

The view is stunning, Maria and Caroline were always on hand if anything came up, it was perfect I really can’t recommend this property enough!

The property was incredibly beautiful, the layout is exceptional and the views are awe-inspiring. The housekeeping was immaculate, the owner Maria went out of her way to make us comfortable as possible, she was so sweet! And the housekeeper was amazing!! She went above and beyond to accomodate us.
The fact that it wasn’t available for rent, I wanted to stay way longer 😭

beautiful location. during low tide you can walk two to four kilometers into the sea and see some marine life.
The last two days we had a challenge with ants. i don’t feel this received attention. This was the only let down.

Clean spacious and modern with African themed decor..loved playing beach football with the locals!
Living room can be a bit hot in the morning if you stay inside but bedroom has air condition..also the neighborhood needs a better road

Its a privatelly owned 2nd residence appartment, so not clearly marked as tourist accomodation, just bear in mind one of many in the building. The two apartments on ground floor were named Villa Ingrid at the time of our booking but belong to a different property, it confused us a bit because we didn't know and the people there (I think also temporary visitors like us) wanted as to leave the shared common space (hammoks in the beachfront) as if they were their own. Because we didn't know and there was no poster sign we were worried for little time. Thankfully the houskeeper came to our aid and clarified everything after a bit. Very reachable and nice after that little incident. If you're in doubt of having arrived the correct place, it's beteen Villa Vamilla and Villa Thamani. Make use of our prior experience there!

Great location, directly at the ocean. Private umbrella and sunbeds with beach towels. Villa Vanilla restaurant in the villa next to this one. Cheaper Mzuri restaurant about 200m away.
