Very beautiful accommodations in a beautiful neighborhood. Stunning views looking across Maui

The property was great, perfect location to visit Haleakala National Park. There were plenty of unique shops and restaurants around Kula and in neighboring Makawao and Pukalani. If you’re looking for an incredible sunset view on Maui, this is the place to stay. The view from the lanai on the second floor and the rooftop balcony is stunning. You see almost the entire island with Haleakala directly behind you. The hosts, Steve and Diane, were friendly and helpful. We had a bit of an issue with the door lock not accepting our code but Steve and Diane were quick to rectify it. They were very welcoming and made our stay very enjoyable.

The views are amazing. Great jumping off point for exploring the East side of Maui. Steve and Diane were fantastic hosts. Definitely recommend this if you want to experience upcountry living.

This spacious apartment has the charm of a Quebec boutique bungalow. The owners’ attention to detail really surprised me- it is such a pretty place with a front deck overlooking West Maui for sunsets and wonderful clouds for sun rises. I highly recommend staying here.

We wanted to visit the volcano in the afternoon and following morning. This place provides a great location to do this. Accommodations were very good and the hosts very nice and helpful with tips for visiting the volcano. There are two wonderful decks as part of the unit which were great for sitting.

Steve and Diane are gracious hosts and fantastic folks! You will be treated in true Hawaiian fashion. 20/10 would stay again! Mahalo!!

Everything was perfect. Well appointed, and such a beautiful area. Great communication as well. If you want peace and quiet while enjoying breathtaking views of the island, this place is for you!

This was our last stop in our visit to Maui, and we came to agree with the hosts that we saved the best for last. The space is impeccably furnished, decorated with a cute, unique layout and has unparalleled views across multiple decks. I took my mom on this trip but this spot was super romantic and I wish I could go back with my girlfriend! As another reviewer mentioned, worth noting that on the first floor the hosts' kitchen is separated by curtains, but once they retire for the night it should feel perfectly private. Even just driving to this part of Kula is a scenic treat and something different if you are mostly visiting the more traditional coastal regions of the island. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and their detailed restaurant list came in handy.

Highly recommend staying in this beautiful home! Stephen and his wife gave us great recommendations for food after a long day of travel.

Excellent location, host and property. Perfect following the road to Hana day 2 and trip to Haleakala Crater. Steve was great to interact with and the house is beautiful. Oh yea - I forgot to mention the sunset view!! Beautiful

This is a unique, much more than a room, rental. The full living area, outside balconies, and unique outside views were extraordinary. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Beautiful views!

We enjoyed this location immensely. Steve was a very accommodating host. And the views from the property were incredible. We enjoyed sitting on the patio every evening watching the sunset. The bed was very comfortable too. The space is quiet and allows you to relax and take in Maui. Only note I would make is that the unit is a part of the host's house. The living area is separated from the host's kitchen by a curtain. So you can hear the hosts and it isn't entirely private. However, the bedroom space and patio upstairs has a more private feel.

This is a beautiful property with wonderful views. There are two balconies, one facing the valley and the other facing the mountain. Both are lovely. The owners live onsite in a separate area of the house. They are extremely friendly and helpful if you have questions or need recommendations. Note that there isn't a full kitchen for guests to use, just a mini fridge and microwave. This was fine for us since we ate at restaurants or had take out, however, you couldn't cook a full meal. The bedroom did have an AC unit but we didn't need it since upcountry is much cooler than the beach areas. The driveway is steep but I had no problem getting up it in my rental Chrysler 300. Overall a great place and this property had my favorite views of all the places we stayed on Maui. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay here, and would definitely stay agin. It was very clean and comfortable, and the view is absolutely amazing - recommend arriving before sunset.

The architecture of this home is unique and spectacular, affording glorious views of the sunset and the islands floating beyond, as well as a 360 degree panorama of the night sky filled with stars. Everything in the property is immaculate and state-of-the -art. Coffee and tea always available, fridge and microwave provided. Luxurious linens. Steve and Diane were friendly and helpful hosts with lots of recommendations and directions to local (terrific) eateries. Cannot recommend highly enough, and would love to stay here again!

Great hosts, beautiful views on the balconies, and an unbeatably comfortable room and bed. Easily our best stay in the two weeks we spent in Maui and Kauai.

Our stay for one night at this property was great! Both Steve and his wife were very helpful and gave us insight to the area. Bed was comfortable and the view of the stars from the top deck was great!

The owners (who were incredibly kind and hospitable) clearly took great pride in their property. It was stunning and had many welcoming and practical touches. We loved relaxing in the space after a long hike and didn’t want to go out again in the evenings— the views from the multiple porches were too lovely to waste! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any friends hoping to visit upcountry Maui. We’re so glad we spent multiple days in the area.

Fantastic view of Mt. Haleakala from the bedroom/bedroom lanai. And beautiful view of the island, Kahului, Molokini, and even Lanai from front deck. No kitchen, but a microwave, small fridge, dishes and glasses right by the bedroom. Definitely recommend staying here!
