We are from the States and spent 6 nights in this lovely cottage. We chose this cottage because of the king size bed and it did not disappoint! The village is beautiful and the pub (within walking distance) has great food and atmosphere. We have family and friends in Northamptonshire and this location was perfect. The cottage had all the amenities of home. Val was amazing and responded to our questions within minutes.

Such a lovely little cottage, finished to a really good quality - the photos do not do it justice! Communication with Valerie the owner was also fantastic - I was staying here the night before my wedding and my nerves ahead of time meant I had a few questions and Valerie always got back to me within a few minutes. Photos are an accurate representation of the property. All services worked perfectly. Useful single level layout that suited my elderly parents well. The host, Val always responded promptly. Would strongly recommend if you need a base near Badby. Local pub has good food and friendly staff.

The house was lovely. It had plenty of space for our family. Val even dropped by to give us milk and it was nice to meet her. We had everything we needed and it was well positioned to get to the wedding venue in 7 minutes. Would definitely stay again

Listing is accurate of this property. It's in a quiet location, kitchen is equipped with the essentials - saucepans, frying pans, cooking utensils, crockery etc. The cottage is clean and comfortable. Check-in was and communication with the owner was easy and straightforward. Only slight thing was the WiFi was not great - with 2 kids YouTube is essential for some downtime for parents! Not a deal breaker as I would come back to stay again.

The whole process of renting to arrival was excellent with great communication and updates from the owner.

We stayed at Val's for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Fawsley Hall. This was a fantastic location and the cottage is very charming and homely. The Windmill Inn is a great spot for food and is only a minutes walk away from the front door. Badby is a lovely village for a stroll. We would love to stay here again and explore a bit more of the area.

A lovely welcoming and well equipped little cottage. The master bedroom has a large wardrobe space and there are two bathrooms, one of which has a shower. The living has a good quality sofa bed which my 14 year old daughter used for the duration of our stay without any issue whatsoever. The village of Badby is lovely with lots of stone built cottages and 2 great looking pubs and it is surrounded by countryside. We were unable to use the pubs as we were up for my Brothers wedding at nearby Dodmoor House which is only a 10 minute drive away so we were kept busy with lots of family gatherings in Weedon and surrounds. We found the cottage to be a perfect base for our stay and was a much better option for us as a family than the nearby hotels. Overall a great place to stay that we were delighted with!!

WOW. This place is stunning. Extremely well appointed. Location is great with parking directly outside. Village is idealic and there is a great view of the fantastic church from Kitchen window. Shame no outside space to sit in the evenings in this lovely weather but they had even thought of providing fans to help with the heat and ice~packs in the freezer to use for picnics etc~Nothing in this place has not been thought about carefully. Stay was very comfortable~Shame we couldn't stay longer! Correspondence was quick and excellant. Overall a fantastic luxury break and will certainly be back if we are in the area. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Had a short stay in this property for a wedding we were invited too nearby. On entering this cottage is was immediately pleased with the look of things. Spacious, clean, comfortable with lovely linen and a well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend and the owner is very obliging and quick to respond once you've booked with any help or advice.

A wonderful house with modern equipment which satifies most wishes. The cottages is situated in a quiet area with a scenic landscape. The two pubs of badby are within walking distance.

Cottage was very well equipped and nicely presented throughout. Master bedroom was very comfortable. Did not use the double sofa bed but it too looked fine. Would definitely recommend this property and would also use it again myself. Two pubs in the village. The one furthest from the property was extremely accommodating with good beers and plenty of gin.

Booked last minute but the cottage was ideal, clean, modern and with everything you need in it. Quiet location with a great pub on the doorstop. Would happily recommend to anyone.

This was our second stay here and have enjoyed both visits immensely. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable indeed, with all the facilities we could want. Rather than use the sofa bed, we have taken our inflatable bed for our second child which works better for us in the evenings. We have found everything to be well maintained and kept perfectly clean. The owner is very helpful and friendly, going above and beyond what we would expect to make us feel at home. The location is excellent with many attractions within an hour's drive, including Blenheim and Stratford-upon-Avon. The immediate area is peaceful with a very nice pub around the corner and some good walks. Would definitely recommend.

Very much enjoyed our stay, lovley village great walks and two good pubs!

Cottage average however very hot and stuffy, bed very soft and uncomfortable, attempted to use the sofa bed in the lounge however was very old with thin mattress. Towels were replaced with fresh ones however old towels were left in the bathroom. Checked out several days earlier than planned due to severe heat which resulted in sleepless nights.

We very much enjoyed our stay in Badby. I stayed there with my mother and nine year old son. Valerie the host was extremely welcoming and helpful and lives just near the cottage so is very easy to contact and get a hold of . There were various minor issues during our stay with electrics, internet etc (just bad luck, not a reflection of the cottage which is well maintained) which she dealt with and sorted out extremely promptly. We enjoyed a couple of good meals at the pub furthest from the cottage where the staff were lovely and the food and ambience great.There are some lovely walks around and just outside of the area, nearby and into the woods. Just a minor comment it would have been useful if the bathrooms had been just a little better equipped with mirrors, shelving etc. I would highly recommend this cottage, it is in a great central location.

Our family of 2 adults and 3 children had a brilliant Easter. The house was perfect and was very well appointed. I would thoroughly recommend.
