very nice property, everything is so authentic and clean! also the location is great as is super close to the city center. the main host Memduh is really nice and gave us a present- natural soap from his manufacture. the lady who is cleaning and making breakfast is adorable!

Good breakfast. Value for money. Owner was very helpful with any questions and problem. Enjoyed being in Bougainvilla Garden and if visit again North Nicosia will stay there again.

The hosting lady did not speak English, but she was nice and google translate helped. We got good classical breakfast. Bed was comfy enough. I did miss a hair dryer, which I could not find. You have to go for the dinner elsewhere in the town.

Everything about it is great, location, service, cleanliness, amazing breakfast.

Fantastic stay at a newly refurbished townhouse that was probably built before most of us here were even alive. Getting there on foot from the checkpoints might seem a little dodgy, especially at night where there street lighting is minimal. The location is actually close to the edge of the old town but it is maximum 10min on foot, 15min if you get lost in the warren of sokaks. However, it is very safe. Breakfast was fantastic, and the owner was very accommodating, as was the lady running the breakfast show and check-in. Adjacent properties rear chickens and roosters, so wear an ear plug to sleep if you mind getting woken up at day break. Internet might be a little spotty outside in the courtyard, but it works just fine indoors.

Directions from the checkpoint could have been provided.

Our room was the same as in the photos; immaculately clean and well-equipped. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom looked brand new. We received handmade soaps instead of the usual plastic bottled shower gels, which was a lovely detail. Bougainvillea Garden is located in a beautifully restored heritage building with stylish furniture and interior design. We especially loved the brass detail of the bed frame; it is truly a masterpiece. Our hosts were very courteous and helpful. One spoke English well and was always available on the chat whenever we had questions. He also gave us many tips about places to visit in the city. We received a warm welcome and a cold drink at check-in. The kitchen was always open, with free coffee and other beverages available. The breakfast was delicious and filling, with several homemade ingredients.

Bougainville Garden is such a lovely place in the Northern part of Nicosia. The hotel is located in a residential area within the old town, which makes staying there a really authentic and non-touristic experience. Nevertheless all sights and also the checkpoint to the South are in walking distance. The hotel welcomes you very warmly and serves nice breakfast every morning in their garden/terrace. We totally enjoyed our stay.

We stayed just for one night and found it to be a lovely simple place. We were welcomed with a much needed cool drink, and the room was small but clean and comfortable. We felt very relaxed there. The hosts were very kind, and the breakfast outside on the small terrace was delicious and a very nice experience. If you like cats, you'll like it here :-)

Only very minor things - The toilet seat in our room needs fixing, a bit wobbly! Oh, and the card machine seemed to insist on applying dynamic currency conversion strangely, so perhaps best to pay in cash.

The house is beautiful with great atmosphere and attention to details. Host was very welcoming and gave many tips, even showed up personally to meet me.

The place is perfect, just a little walk away.

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I received a lemonde upon check in as well as a form to indicate my preferences for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious. The room was quite comfortable too.

The only downside I can say is the street noise outside the bedroom. Noisy kids in the street at night and a garbage truck at 2am. But unfortunately these things are out of the hosts hands, and they certainly did not ruin my stay by any means.

Breakfast was amazing, personnel friendly and willing to help. Wanna thank them all one more time!
