Right up until a couple of days before we were due to arrive we weren't sure if we would be able to go due to the constantly changing restrictions but Ivo constantly kept in touched and then still managed to accommodate us when our flights were changed. Ivo & Martina could not have been better hosts they even picked us up at the airport and gave us a quick tour of the area before we were taken to the apartment. The apartment in exactly as listed, quiet, comfortable, well equipped and fully of little artworks by Martina which were amazing and a great touch. The apartment was conveniently located being only a 10 minute walk to Lapad Beach passing lots of bars & restaurants along the way on the strip. The beach was a perfect place to sit and watch the breathtaking sunsets every evening. The old town was each to reach either by bus or taxi (we downloaded the Uber App as recommended by Martina and this was perfect costing around £5/trip). We walked the wall which was amazing and felt like we were part of the Game of Thornes Set. Also the port is only 5 mins away where you can catch a boat to all the islands which are amazing. Also trips to Montenegro and Bosnia can be arranged locally. Martina is very happy to assist with bookings, lots of helpful information and suggestions of things to see and do and places to eat. She also baked us the most delicious cakes, made cherry juice and brough us fresh figs for breakfast. The cherries and figs were picked from her own garden. The apartment has a beautiful large balcony with furniture and is always warm and sunny from first thing in the morning and long after sunset which makes it the perfect spot for breakfast and dinner and lots of long cool drinks. We had the most perfect holiday with the most perfect hosts. Ivo and Martina cannot do enough for you. At the end of our trip we had to leave early due to Croatia being removed from the exemption list. Ivo and Martina did everything they could to help us get away phoning ferry companies and then taking us down the terminal to sort details and taking us for our ferry. Then waving us off from the apartment balcony. I cannot recommend Dubrovnik enough it is such an amazing place full of the most amazing people. Thank you so much Ivo and Martina and their two lovely children for making our holiday so perfect. Hope to see you all soon.

The place is exactly what we expected, nice and clean. It is conveniently located in quite neighbourhood and very accessible to all major attractions. Communication with Ivo was very easy.

Quiet, but restaurants and a shop nearby. Good bus access to old city and bus station. Everything worked in the property and owners are very helpful

What a fantastic apartment... location was perfect, quiet but close to everything. Owners Ivo and Martina were so helpful. Homemade Chocolate treats were popped round to us and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was well equipped and lovely and clean. Would definitely recommend 😊

The apartment had everything you might need, from sheets and towels to utensils in the kitchen. The two bedroom are big and the beds are very comfortable, as well as the pillows. The bathroom were clean and big enough. The fact that you have a washing machine is really useful. The terrace was one of the perks of the apartment, we ate almost every meal there and it was really nice. The location for us was perfect, because it’s a really nice and quiet area but at the same time it’s a 5-10 minutes walk to Sunset Beach and a long street full of restaurant and bars near the sea, and a 10 minutes bus ride to the Old Town. There is also a Tommy Supermarket close by, very convenient. But the best thing about this apartment was Martina, who took us from the airport and from day one was always helpful giving us tips and telling us stories. She was always available if we needed anything, and she even gifted us with a bottle of Croatian wine just because a minor inconvenience occurred with the electricity, the power went off for a couple hour at night and she immediately called for help and everything was resolved. This was one of our best experience with a host, so we would definitely recommend this apartment if you want to visit Dubrovnik.

The place was very nice and clean. Even though we arrived really late, they made sure we got checked in. If I had to be picky, the only issue was with the showers. The curtain would keep covering the drain and make a bit of a mess. Nice hosts.

It has a large shared balcony, good for relaxing with a bottle of wine after a hard days sighting.Couple of things to note work is going on to improve the building, which we could have done with knowing earlier than the day before we were due to arrive. The outside stairs to the apartment has no handrail and the balcony also has no guard rail. This makes the property unuseable if any children are in a visiting party. This is why I have only given 3 stars. I'm sure that when the work is complete it would get the extra stars.A couple of minor points the basin in the bathroom could be bigger, as it stands it not easy to shave and the unpleasant smell in the bathroom needs addressing.

We recently stayed here for 4 days and found the apartment a good size, spacious and well arranged for our needs. It was nicely decorated, the double bed was comfortable, the kitchen area was fully equipped for easy use and the bathrooms worked well. Ivo's mother was very helpful when we needed her advice. There were some good views with nearby shops, the beach and the bus stop being within easy walking distance. Many thanks again for a great stay. John & Sue

The apt is in Lapad close to the beach in walking distance and not too far from the old town. It's really difficult to park around there but luckily the owner has a garage also. The property was clean, silent and well equipped and big enough to host 4 people comfortably. The owner was very nice to us and helpful. If you're searching a normal way of living far touristic places this is the place to be!

I was visiting Dubrovnik with a friend, and it was a struggle to find a place to stay that would guarantee separate beds that wasn’t unreasonably priced! Then I stumbled across this apartment which would allow us to have separate rooms for our 4 night stay. I didn’t know an awful lot about Dubrovnik before visiting aside from the old town being the place we had to visit, so I was a little concerned when booking the apartment that it wasn’t in the old town vicinity. However, I’d have no problem staying here again – there’s an easy bus around 5 minutes walk away that connects the ‘new town’ of Lapad to the old town, and actually many of the activities we booked ended up being Lapad based anyway, so there really was no issue in the location. You are 5 minutes walk away from a strip of restaurants and bars, 5 minutes walk away from the port where many boat trips and watersports are based, yet you’re tucked away in a quiet area so there is no noise around the apartment. Aside from the location and personal space, there were a couple of other major things I appreciated with this apartment. As others have commented, the people who run this apartment are great, and they’ll meet with you on the first night to ensure you can find your way around. They’ll also give you suggestions on things to do or places to eat at if you want them. And they’ll go out of their way to ensure your trip goes smoothly – thank you Martina for taking us back to the airport and feeding us chocolate brownies! I also really appreciated the air conditioning, which meant we could cool the flat down in the evening and have a decent night’s sleep – it’s not too noisy that you can’t have it on overnight, and makes a big difference. Overall, if you’re looking for a place to stay in Dubrovnik, this is definitely a good option, run by very nice people who want to go the extra mile. Enjoy Dubrovnik, it’s a great city!

The apartment was perfect. Ivo and his wife were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. She even brought us some homemade delicious cookies. Apartment is spotless. It’s a great location. Easy access to the bus to old town. Easy walking distance to the beach. Lots of restaurants and bars. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Great apartment and owners. Thank you to both of you!!

Great location!

A clean and tidy apartment in a good location in Lapad. 5 min walk to bars, restaurants and beach! Bus service very good to old city. Had excellent communication with Ivo - who was always very helpful and prompt with responses. We were very well looked after by Ivo's mother who maintain the apartment to a good standard and provided us with lots of yummy figs!! Thanks we had a fabulous holiday and one to remember.

We enjoyed the local beaches. Visited the old town which is amazing! Went on a boat trip and hired a car for a day to explore further a field. The apartment is close to shops bakers , bus stop . The apartment is two bedrooms two bathrooms has a lounge/ kitchen perfectly adequate for our party of 2 adults and 3 teenagers.

Grei beliggenhet, kort vei til Lampad og gode bussforbindelser til gamlebyen. Stille gate med fin kveldssol. Store soverom, men veldig varme. Vanskelig å få senket temperaturen med aircon fra kjøkken/oppholdsrom. Noe mugglukt på det ene badet.

This apartment is a great base to explore Dubrovnik Old Town and the surrounding area. Ivo (the owner) was really easy to deal with, he responded quickly to all emails and arranged prompt airport transfers. The apartment is located a short bus ride from the walled city on the Lapad peninsula. This worked really well for us as Lapad was so peaceful and an ideal contrast to the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. The bus system was easy to navigate, cheap and seemed to run every 10 minutes throughout the day. Lapad has its own and plentiful selection of restaurants, bars and supermarkets - all within a few minutes walk of the apartment. The area also offers much better value for money than the Old Town which can get very busy - especially when the cruise ships hit town. The apartment itself is accurately described on the web site, has a large balcony which proved a great space to enjoy breakfast and pre dinner drinks. The 2 bedroom 2 bathroom set up also makes for flexible accommodation for a family or 2 sharing couples. WiFi also worked well throughout the apartment. Whilst most visitors will be drawn by the pull of the old town - the surrounding area is beautiful and we would recommend the various boat trips available from both Lapad and the Old Town. This accommodation is an easy recommendation to others wishing to visit the area.

This property is excellent value, very clean, well-equipped & quiet, with a spacious sunny terrace for relaxing. As a couple we found the space very adequate, as we were able to store our luggage in the 2nd bedroom. The 2 tiny bathrooms were a bonus, one with washing machine. The kitchen is too small for serious cooking, but the oven allows for simple hot meals to be prepared. The garage was an enormous plus for us; the car was secure, & we used taxis or Uber to reach the Old Town. We enjoyed our stay here, & would thoroughly recommend it. Gwen & Geoff Ryan, Australia.

This apartment has been updated, however the kitchen is very small and minimalist. The apartment is very clean and tidy, but it is small as the pictures and plan show. Unfortunately we didn't get much use of the large terrace as the weather wasn't great during our stay. The buses to the city are close by and run every 5 mins or so, but it's also a pleasant 1/2 hour walk to the city. Plenty of restaurants, shops and beaches etc nearby. If you don't need lots of space and don't plan on doing much cooking this is great value for money.
