Marvellous place, really enjoyed it, and the staff were very helpful. My room was very clean and the evening meal was simple and delicious.

Only (minor) problem with the Defence Colony is that it's all blocks and numbers, so taxis and autos have trouble finding a specific house or hotel. Only the local cycle rickshaw wallahs know exactly where everything is. But it's also got lots of nice parks to sit in and is very safe after dark.

Emplacement dans un des plus jolis quartiers de Dehli. Très calme, confortable, propre, sécurisé . Joli rooftop , cuisine délicieuse, personnel attentif. Jolie deco, lits très confortables.

J'ai adoré la situation de cet hotel puisque j'ai vécu 5 ans à Defence Colony, j'étais heureux de m'y retrouver, c'est très calme et après une journée dans le brouhaha de Delhi c'est très agréable, l'hotel se trouve à 10 minutes à pied du métro et à 10 minutes des restaurants de Défence Colony

le petit déjeuner est frugal, des fruits ou des confitures seraient les bienvenus.

It is relatively difficult to find quality accommodation in Delhi for mid-range prices: Colonel's Retreat fills that gap entirely as it provides great value for money and great comfort. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There is even an air filter in the room which is usually rare. The WiFi connection was very good. Breakfast was excellent although it would be nice to have more fruit choices. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet.

The location on Booking.com is wrong and on Google Maps too. The property manager messaged me the location pin which was correct.

The staff was very helpful and the food was good. I was traveling alone and they made me feel very safe. The manager even walked with me to the closest market to get some fruits:)

The food, location and staff were excellent. Its located in a quite residential area with lots of trees, me and my partner enjoyed sitting on their rooftop during sunset. They catered to all our needs nicely. They also timely repaired the Aircon when it troubled a bit. The location is fantastic, We could reach any of the places in hardly 15-20 minutes. Their staff is super nice and extended excellent service.
