Creekside Cabin Getaway
Direkt an den Minnesota State Snowmobile Trails gelegen. Trails auch ideal zum Wandern / 4 Rädern / Radfahren. Wir haben Hühner und einen Hund auf unserem Grundstück. Sie sind nicht allein auf diesem Grundstück, wir wohnen im Haus links von der Hütte.

We had a great time in this lovely property. The location was very convenient to town, but you also felt out in the country with all the trees - great star gazing from the balcony!

We sincerely enjoyed the "tiny house" feel of the cabin, perfect for a weekend stay for 2 people. Loved being able to see all the wildlife, as well as interact with the chickens and Jasper the dog. Damon and Tanya were so kind and polite and really gave us room to just rest and enjoy the quiet. Amazing fireworks show for the July 4th holiday, even though they were delayed a day due to rain. We really loved sitting on the second story balcony and just listening to the nature sounds! Clean, quiet, comfortable and affordable. Would definitely do this again! It was also very wonderful that their house rules sheet included a listing of things to do in the area - helpful when you're not from there. Easy parking and access, and just the right distance from town that you can enjoy the quiet.

I absolutely loved my stay, the property was fantastic and Winona is a beautiful place. I was by myself for some solitude and the creekside cabins get away was a great fit.

This was a nice property, it was disconnected from town to where it felt like you were out of town and where you were away from people. But also it wasn’t far away from town either which was nice.

This place was cute.
Stairs are a challenge, not for older people or young kids.
Wish the TV was located upstairs with the couch or there was an additional TV up there.
The ducks and chicken were great to see.
The acorns dropping on the metal roof sounded like gun fire!
All and all it was a fun experience!

Great little cabin. Loved the circular stair case and fireplace

Great place to use as a home base for day trips. The communication was great, & the hosts are on the larger property. Be prepared for some coming & going by others that live &/or work on the property. You can be in downtown Winona in 5-10 minutes, the river parks in 15. The state park on the bluff is definitely worth a visit if you like short hikes & views.

My partner and I stayed for 2 nights, and we had a great time! The place is near enough to town that it never takes long to get anywhere, but far enough that you can enjoy some peace and quiet.
Because it is a smaller cabin, I would suggest keeping the guest count to one additional person. It’s a very cool set up, and was perfect for two of us, but much more beyond that and it can get cramped. But for a party of two, it’s a very cozy place.
The owners and their friends were very welcoming, and we look forward to hanging out with them again the next time we book. Thanks again!

My wife and I wanted to get away for a long weekend so we rented this little cabin nestled in the hillside. It has all of the amenities of home, just a much better view. Tanya and Damon are wonderful hosts, and we felt very welcomed. It is only about 5 minutes from town, which was very convenient. I would definitely recommend this spot if you are looking to be close to town, but out in the country a bit.

This is a great little cabin in the woods, conveniently located within a few miles of shopping, restaurants, walks along the lakeside, etc. Reasonably priced as well. A great retreat for a sister's weekend away!! The property is very Peaceful. Having the owner's on site was Bonus for us in our accidental lock-out. They are both very responsive and respectful of space. Very happy with our choice of where to stay!

Fun little house. We loved the wood burning fireplace. The stairs are a little bit treacherous, so probably wouldn’t recommend for those with mobility issues. The loft is very small.

We enjoyed our time at this tiny house. The host was very kind, but not intrusive, and the cabin was clean, cozy and well furnished. It is located close to several great hiking trails within the city and nearby state parks. No complaints to the host for the house arrangement as it is accurately described. We simply suggest that future guests understand that you can’t stand up in the bedroom. The bed is just a mattress on a pallet on the floor with the only bathroom two levels down so middle-of the-night bathroom treks were quite challenging with a couple bonks on the head trying to get out of bed - haha. Otherwise, the cabin is great.

The owner was quick to respond to questions about the property after arrival. The fire place was cozy to relax with a few friends and a bottle of wine. I would stay at this location again in the future.

Close to town but disconnected and peaceful! Really enjoyed sitting by the fire and talking to the ducks as they would strut by, and the chickens too! I can only imagine how awesome it would be to be there during winter and make a fire on the second level! Great GREAT place!

Tiny house
Easy to find. Close to town yet a peaceful scenery. Cute house. Loved the fireplace!
Did not realize how small it was going to be. 1st and 2nd floor were fine but the bedroom area caused us to have to crawl. Also, the single mattress on top of wooden pallets were less than desired. Other than that and the scary stairs it was a lovely retreat

Highly recommend
Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful quiet setting. Charming and comfortable decor and furnishings. Owners went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience. Even little things were paid attention to such as the key ring having an easy hook to place on your own keys while staying there. Will be my first choice for staying in the Winona area.

This cabin was so cute & cozy!
My sisters and I rented this cabin and really enjoyed it. The spiral staircase is definitely narrow and was a little nerve wracking to carry suitcases up & down. Everything else was great though. We could have sat in front of the fireplace and relaxed all day. The third floor where you sleep is really unique and fun as well. It kind of felt like sleeping in a treehouse. The beds and bedding were soft and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We honestly never even turned on the TV, but did enjoy watching the chickens in the morning. It is close to Winona and was easy to find. We did some hiking and explored the area. We would definitely stay here again.:)

Anniversary getaway.
My husband and I decided to visit Winona again and stay at our favorite rental. Once again it was a great experience. Tanya and her family always make us feel right at home and are were very attentive to anything we needed. October was the perfect time to enjoy the fall foliage and explore the area wineries. We'll be back in the summer to hit the lakes again.

This was such a beautiful property. We enjoyed coffee on the patio and watching the wild life. Convenient spot to get to our hiking destinations.
Host and others on property were so nice but we still had privacy.
Cabin had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time once again as this our 3rd stay at this location. The owners were wonderful.
This town has so much to offer. Beautiful bluffs and the lake nearby has everything you would want if I like fishing, kayaking, running or biking. The fishing turned out to be pretty good as well .Hiking up to Sugarloaf is also a must. We parked at the hotel and walked past the antique store and hiked up one afternoon. With the Covid restrictions lowered it was nice to visit with our host and get to know them a bit better which was nice. We love watching the chickens roam the property and seeing the deer down by the creek. Bring your hammock and you can string it up near the stream. Definitely looking forward returning.

A great place to stay near Winona. At night we could hear spring peepers and owls, and it was great fun watching the chickens on the property. Close to Great River Bluffs State Park.

My family and I loved the cabin. It was a great escape from our busy screen-time lives. We cooked in the cozy kitchen, played games by the fireplace and spent time in Winona.
