Parking not available at the property and car park was expensive

The house is well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Location is right in the heart of York with a short walk from attractions. The pool table was a particular hit with the family later in the evenings.

Not much of a negative, but the heating in the living/dining area is a little under spec'd for the size of the room which meant it was a little chilly during the cold evenings.

Beautifully decorated and fitted out. Lovely layout with a communal kitchen diner. Really comfortable beds. Really helpful host and lots of thoughtful touches with books, DVDs and board games available.

It is on a busy road, but in a very convenient location with lots of lovely shops and cafes nearby and in easy reach of the centre.

Amazing beautiful house in perfect location. Will be back again soon I hope!

The house was perfect, the host was very knowledgeable, homemade cake was a lovely touch.very close to the centre of York.

We loved the house and its location. We were five minutes walk to the river and Rowntree Park and the local independent shops and cafes are lovely. Communications with the owner were excellent. Very close to the City Centre, but located in a residential area. The owners organised car parking for us, at a great price. They have two properties next door to each other, so great for larger family groups.

Great location for city centre and bright spacious property.
