Where do I begin?!?! This property was perfect for our stay. I all most feel guilty for leaving this review as I don’t want it to get booked up and be open for when we come back here to stay again!! I have never had better communication with a host on any VRBO rentals. Katie, the host, was on top of everything. Every problem big or small was taken care of.and the communication was 10 star plus.
Ocean and private beach. You are right on the ocean and cannot get any closer to it without living in a houseboat. The people in the area are so friendly. Everyone is there for the same reason. Relax, beach, sun, ocean waves, and relax some more.
This place is your perfect getaway. You have two decks to enjoy. Every room faces the ocean. All the amenities of home, but with the calming views and sounds of the ocean just steps away.
Plus, Galveston is only 30 minute drive over a $2 toll bridge. Lake Jackson and Chute are about 20 minutes the other way. So many great finds in the area that’s too long to list. Fresh seafood, great people, and anything you need just a short drive away. If you don’t want to drive H.E.B.’s the local grocery store will deliver pretty much anything you need.
I cannot say enough about our week stay here!! If this place is open you need to book it or you’ll be missing out on the best relaxation of your lifetime! You’ll never find anything better for the price!!!

I recently stayed at the house with my family. The house is in excellent condition, clean, well-appointed, and thoughtfully furnished—steps from the beach with an irreplaceable view. The host was friendly and excellent at responding promptly. We will stay here again.

This is the third time we have rented this property. The host could not possibly be more responsive and helpful! The house has everything you could need -- fully stocked kitchen (including spices), comfortable beds, outdoor shower to rinse off the sand, nice covered porch for morning coffee, and so much more.

We were so happy with this property! The location was perfect and the house was stocked with every possible thing that you could need. Even though it was during spring break, the neighborhood was very family oriented and quite. We cannot wait to return to this property!

Usually when staying at any property there is usually something negative that you wish could be improved. That is not the case here at all. We got everything that we had hoped for: views at all times of the day, cleanliness, quiet, comfort, plenty of space, great wifi for the gamer in the family, and so on.
And even when the unexpected happens, a solution is promptly provided. When we arrived right after a major freeze the property did not have running water. One call to the owner and within one hour a handyman showed up and fixed a broken pipe on the spot. This shows you how responsive the owner is and makes me wish that vrbo had a checkbox for "handyman nearby" for other trips.

The house was amazing, very clean and steps from the beach. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, there are two of them, and watching the dolphins and listening to the waves.

The space was just right! The location is perfect! The beach was gorgeous. My kids and parents had a wonderful time with perfect views, easy access, and a nice clean place to stay. The beds were very comfortable and spacious. The rooms were nicely decorated and we really loved the family feel to the home. I have stayed at many homes in the area and this was one of the best.

Great property! Right on the beach. Just what our family needed.

Perfection!
There was nothing about the house or the location to complain about. It was hard not to compare our house to those around us and we came out the clear winner. The decks have overhead cover so you can sit outside all day without getting roasted and you are literally steps from the beach. There was no internet when we arrived and Katie immediately sent out AT&T to get it resolved. We plan to definitely return.

Perfect family vacation spot
Beautiful beach home just steps from the sand. We took our 6-year-old grandson for a beach outing and the house is so close to the beach, it makes those trips back and forth from the house to the beach so easy! The kitchen was equipped better than any house I've previously rented--coffee, spices, and any kitchen utensil you might need are already there waiting for you. We will be back!

Everything was wonderful. Wish list : trash was closer but price you pay for the best place in the neighborhood. Glad I curbsided groceries....nothing for miles. Owner response was prompt.

Beautiful and Relaxing Weekend Getaway
This property was everything it was advertised to be! It was super cozy, clean and cute. The views are breathtaking. We had no issues whatsoever. This house has more amenities than most rentals I've been to in the Galveston area. They even have beach towels! Solid wifi and tv choices including Netflix and Prime. The kitchen had lots of extra stuff that others don't have which was very nice. The beach is like right there so it was easily accessible. Even though it was overcast and a bit rainy we still had a blast. Plenty of stuff for kids and adults. You will have a great time!

Lovely home right on the beach.
This was a nice property right on the beach. My family and I stay at a lot of VRBO properties. This one had a well stocked kitchen, but was missing one or two items we needed. A complete inventory list provided before check-in would have been helpful. The grill was not functional but the host was great at responding and offering solutions. The bedrooms and patios are large, plenty of space to spread out there .. however the living area and kitchen were very cramped when our whole family was inside. I loved the location of this property. Very easy to run down and step up our beach stuff and then run back up to grab any forgotten items! We brought our own beach chairs, there were plenty of beach toys provided for the kids. A few extra blankets in the house would be nice, we had some cooler evenings. The property was VERY clean. I don't know how great a value it was for the price we paid, but it was a lovely home. I think I would have appreciated it more if the price was lower.

This home is amazing, in a wonderful location and can’t be beat. We had such a great time at the beach. The home has comfortable beds, great linens and the kitchen has high quality cooking utensils and pots/pans, something many rentals often lack. The view is breathtaking and we will for sure be back! The near by beach is clean, family friendly and the sand is gorgeous!

Best beach location possible
One of the best Vrbo properties we’ve ever stayed in, could not have asked for anything better. The location is amazing but the house and everything inside is also outstanding. We felt at home from the moment we pulled in the driveway to the time we hesitatingly pulled away.

Incredible COVID Thanksgiving
We had an incredible stay at this beach house. We have extended family in Houston, so the idea was to be relatively close to them, so that they could come visit us on the outdoor decks and enjoy a little outdoor/socially distanced family time with extended family while we bunked in just the 4 of us. Thus, while I had limited expectations for the trip, we were absolutely blown away by the experience we actually had. The house is very nice, well-stocked, exceedingly comfortable with INCREDIBLE VIEWS!! The weather was very cooperative, and my boys enjoyed playing in the surf, collecting shells, and sumo-wrestling in the sand...in November! We loved sharing the decks and the views with my husband's parents. My kids found a joke/riddle book that they enjoyed, they loved the bunk bed, and the TVs were state-of-the art for sports-viewing. The adults appreciated that the beds are VERY comfortable (unlike a lot of old mattresses in beach homes). I cannot express how utterly relaxing and restorative the whole trip was; we cannot wait to return!!

Fantastic property
My wife and small children visited for a get-away weekend and had an amazing experience. Home is beautifully decorated, the views are awe-inspiring, and the communication with the homeowner was super easy. We will be back soon and often!

Excellent
We had a great time. Everything we saw online was the same as when we were there. The owner and I texted back and forth a few times and was super friendly. We even thought we lost a wallet and their concern and care was a blessing to us. We pray they are blessed by their hospitality, it truly is a gift.

Great 20 yr anniversary
Covid stopped any traveling plans for us and we wanted to do something special with our two kids while keeping safety first. We had one of the most memorable times together and a great 20 year celebration. Just make sure you bring everything you will be cooking or eating as the house is far away from a supermarket. 😉

Best Vacation Ever
Great house. Exactly as described, maybe even better than the pictures. Great location, calm and peaceful surroundings. We rented 2 homes from the same people and they were both wonderful. Quick reply to any questions we had. Worked with us to change our plans when COVID hit. Would definitely rent again.

Right on the beach
Amazing home right on the beach! The kids, young and old, loved the sand, water and crabbing. Would stay here again. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and with four children that was wonderful.

Amazing location!!
Communication with the owner was excellent! The location was amazing! It had so many extras like beach toys and beach chairs. The beach was not crowded. It was a great trip! We will definitely go back!
