Location is walking distance to town and Dutchman's Beach if you are good with some small hills and stairs. House was clean and cozy and bedrooms are a good size with blankets and heaters for winter if needed. Table tennis table was great to have to keep the family entertained and off their devices. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils and plates, dishes and cutlery and the real estate gave us a little package with dishwashing soaps, cloth & sponge which was handy. Yard is a great size for four legged friends and even a few toys supplied to entertain them.

The bed we slept in (bedroom off sunroom) was a bit hard and my hips and lower back were not happy after a couple of nights and I dreaded going to bed. The dishwasher racks are missing a lot of the prongs as they've rusted off which makes it hard to stack. It is also incredibly noisy so if you use it, I advise you to do it during the day.

This property is in the perfect location being just a very short walk to Dutchies Beach in one direction and to Nelson Bay marina and the main street in the other direction. The property was clean and tidy and suitable for a family or 2 small families.

Unfortunately the property doesn’t have air conditioning (only ceiling fans) therefore was rather hot during our stay. For this reason we won’t stay here again during the summer months as it was uncomfortable. The property also doesn’t have WiFi which these days is generally a standard thing. A couple of maintenance things that we have alerted the managing agent to but they didn’t impact the overall stay.

Small thing but toilet paper would have been nice, Teo toilets and no toilet paper, having to drive to the shops to buy some, but disappointing when you have a 7 night stay Rubbish bin was completely full of green waste, no where to put rubbish

Great location. Really comfy, clean, spacious house. Very relaxing area but close to beach, shops and local bowling club. Will definitely book again!

Probably that there was no wifi, although we survived. Also cleaner needed to look under TV cabinet - a few things under there that shouldn't be - baby's bottle, egg cup, balls, dust and such.

Location was fantastic!!!!! Great how a bedroom and bathroom was at the other end of the house - excellent if travelling with 2 couples. Table tennis lots of fun, great sized backyard! Small collection of books and DVDs, which was appreciated with the kids!

Honestly, I'm knit picking here, however there are no blinds for privacy from backyard, so the houses behind and next door may be able to see into back of the house where the games room and kitchen is. It definately wouldn't stop me from booking the property again.

The location was ok

I object to being charged an additional $40 booking charge by the agent. I also object to their being no sheets supplied or pay $40 for supplied sheets. And we had to make our own bed. I have travelled all over the world and have never had to supply sheets and make beds. It is cheap and nasty.
