The comforter and hair drier equipment were good.

When we checked in we found the bathroom tap and hanger rod was broken. There was no bathroom rug on the floor. No kitchen towel, no teaspoon. Coffee makers and dinner plates were not washed. Message communicator was rude when asked for towels and water and provided none. They provided one bottle of water for two days of booking and mentioned in WhatsApp that they will change towels once only if we stay for 7 days. I also do not know why Booking.com shares WhatsApp number if it doesn’t want communication outside their message feature.

Don't sleep here. Just don't. The location seems close to the centre (1km), but the neighborhood isn't good. The building .. doesn't matter, because you sleep in the basement. It's not a semi-basement, it's a basement. There's a small window which you can open if you climb on the kitchen top. It's exactly the level of the street, so if you want air.. It won't be the cleanest. Also, impossible to sleep because of the noise from the street. Tiny bathroom with no ventilation. The worse is that the machine rooms of the building and the lift are your neighbors and one of them smells of diesel veeeeeeery bad. The whole corridor smells, we both got a headache. Also non stop from noise from the diesel generator. The room is nothing like in the photos. Very dark and dingy. seems hip, but everything is old and smells. We left a day early because we couldn't bare to sleep there. Super rude host, when we requested our money back he said "what did you expect for this price" and "I'm not responsible for the diesel generator, just the room". Just don't ruin your trip to this beautiful island.

Location was good,fifteen minutes walk from lion fountain .Everything worked well. Comunication with host was very good and quick.Kitchen was equiped very well.It was clean. For short stay very good option. Supermarket two minutes away..Bus to airport ten minutes walk.Check out at 12.

Well it is half basement and it looks that window cannot be opened,but we didn't try it as it was above kitchen tables and we stayed one night.Bathroom is quite small but worked well.Bed could be better.,but it was ok for one night .Not enough light and fresh air from outside.

I can't give explanation of what good was because they were reconstructing the building, so there was crowded a lot and we couldn't sleep at all.

The accommodation was in the basement, window was at the same level as street, so everyone was looking at us. There was black hair on our towels and pillows. Water pressure was so low.

the studio is nice and small and is in a good position. It Is cleaned and equipped with everything for kitchen, WiFi and air conditioning. Perfect for one night or two.

The apartment is downstairs at the street level, so is better not open the window, that's why it is not sunny and smells little bit of moisture...

It was really close to the city centre, about a 15 minute walk. There's also a bus station close by that can take you to Knossos.

The description of the property never mentioned that this is in fact a basement apartment, with one window. In addition, the window, that was basically in level with the street had no security bars on it, so you couldn't keep it open during the night, since someone could easily just step inside the apartment from the street while you were sleeping. The fact that it was a tiny space in the middle of the summer made not being able to keep the window open that much worse. Another con to our stay was the mattress in the bed, which has been used most probably since they rented out this apartment, and basically had a crater (I'm not over exaggerating!) in the middle. PRO TIP for the owners: maybe try to invest some of the money you make out of this apartment into some security bars on the window and a new mattress.
