Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of six had a great time and appreciated the size and space of this condo. Big dining table for family meals. We could have used another seat in the living room, but it's all good. The unit is definitely used by many - you can tell the wear and tear on the front door and casing is in rough shape. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets and any wood is beat up - just really used. The granite countertops and tile floors on the main levels are really nice and the carpet on the stairs and upstairs rooms is great - good job on those upgrades!! We would come back again.

Our family has stayed in these units every summer for the last 15 years. This unit was very easy to be in. Stocked with everything we might have needed would recommend for a family.

My family had a great time going to the beach every day. Everything was as advertised.

This is the third unit we have rented at the DMBC over the years. We keep returning because we love the complex and the semi-private beach. We like the layout of this unit, it was very spacious and suited the needs of our family. Overall, this felt like we were staying at a friend's house while they were out of town rather than a vacation destination, not because of any big issues but a bunch of smaller ones that by themselves didn't warrant any complaint. I hate to be nit-picky, but for the money spent, we hoped for a little better: The dishwasher does not work very well. Detergent tabs don't dissolve and dishes don't get very clean (by itself no big deal, but we planned to do a lot of cooking). Several of the beach chairs had mold on them, but we were able to find 4 that worked out well for us. We took one of the umbrellas down the 96 steps to the beach only to find that it was broken, fortunately there was another one in there that we could use the rest of the time (by itself, no big deal). The elastic on the fitted sheet on the bottom bunk was entirely all stretched out and would not stay put, so we had to go searching in the cabinets for one that would work (by itself, no big deal.) The towel rack on the hall bathroom upstairs is not properly secured to the wall and fell off when trying to hang a towel back on (by itself, no big deal). In summary, I would suggest that the owners/managers spend some time there to take inventory and get a feel of how everything is working. We would be happy to stay here in the future after some attention to the little details, as I said before, it is overall a nice unit and we love the DMBC.

The condo is in a great location. There are a lot of steps down to the beach, but they are well maintained and easy to navigate. It was great to have a heated pool and hot tub. The condo has three roomy bedrooms and three bathrooms, and a huge dining table for meals and games. There were also some toys and puzzles, which made our 3-year-old happy. The place was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and linens, and having a washer and dryer in the unit was definitely a plus. Although the condo itself had no view, there is a large indoor lounge area and an outdoor patio that both have oceanfront views. We would stay here again.

Lastima que están construyendo en frente, mucho ruido No nos avisaron de eso La casa con mucho olor a humedad, pero bien, un poco abandonada, faltaría un restailing Pedimos unas horas más para irnos pero no nos dejaron, eso nos complicó un poco por los nenes, pero bueno

Our family spent a week at this condo and we had a superb time! The #1 pro is the location. The private beach is within a 5 min walk (you have to climb down several steps to reach sand) and pools are even closer! Overall the area is secluded which was great for COVID considerations. We only saw a few other tenants/guests during our stay and we even had the pool to ourselves each day. As for the condo, it does the job! It looks like the photos. It was well stocked and organized. Due to a mild heat wave, we had to buy 3 fans as we were literally sweating inside. (Nearly all of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and a couple of box fans were also available.) Everything was pretty comfortable; we did notice several minor things that need to be repaired but not a huge deal. The condo is suitable for families although super young kiddos may struggle with all the stairs. Lastly, the property managers at Pacific Coastal (Patricia and Jimmy) were absolutely fabulous. Extremely responsive and helpful. We experienced an issue upon arriving and they personally resolved it within a few hours. We were beyond impressed! Honestly, they are the reason we rate this place with 5 stars! :)
