The rooms are not hotel-like quality, rather like a good hostel.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. I was upgraded from a single to a room with a double bed and a single (because it was quiet). Windows opened completely (good to cool the room down after it had heated up during the day) and there was a door out onto a balcony shared by several rooms. Wi-Fi and internet worked well. Kettle and coffee-maker in the room - tea bags, coffee bags (for the coffee maker), sugar and sachets of cream were provided. Right opposite the entrance to Vinnhorst station, a few stops from Hannover Hbf on the airport S-Bahn line, so very easy to find. A very quiet area, and seemed very safe.

While it was right opposite Vinnhorst station, the trains effectively only run every half an hour and at some times of the year only every hour in the evening, so if using public transport a bit of planning is necessary. (I think there are also buses.) I didn't specify a time of arrival, nor was I asked for one, and when I arrived there was no-one there because the restaurant wasn't open. However, there was a clear sign giving a telephone number to ring, and I was then told where the key was hidden (and the owner then came half an hour later so that I could pay and also ask anything I wanted). I didn't have breakfast because I didn't think I could eat enough to justify the extra cost! With the restaurant not being open, I had to go back into the city centre for an evening meal. But none of this would put me off staying here again!

Rooms form part of the Restaurant complex. Restaurant was very nice and open until 10 pm which was great as we arrived at 8 pm. Food was excellent and very reasonable. Room was comfortable and the shower was great.

Our room didn’t have much of a view but as we were in transit it didn’t really matter.

The guestrooms are situated above a restaurant but to the rear so you are not aware of diners and have a separate access so you dont meet them either. The rooms are great and the bathroom was newly renovated. Free parking and good WiFi. The staff are very welcoming. I would stay again.

I thought i had already paid on booking.com as i had given my card details. It turns out the card was on hold only and i hadn't paid (this guesthouse can't process online payment!?) Unfortunate confusion all round.

This is my repeat visit and I will definitely come back whenever I am in Hannover again. The room, the ambitious, the people - everything is outstanding.

The little touches, the environment and general hospitality.

A Restaurant and hotel rooms in one, good value - easy access from the Main A2 autobahn, ideal if traveling cross Germany. Room was spacious, clean comfortable, everything you need. Good tea/coffee facilities. Quiet. Plenty of off-street parking. Handy also to have a restaurant right there (prices reasonable too, huge menu choice), especially if you are traveling and just staying a one night layover. Some rooms have ensuite (E5 more), but bathroom was not shared, near my room, in a private sub-section. Great shower, and fridge in room (though it was a touch noisey, so I unplugged overnight). Was very pleased for the money, would stay again for sure.

Pretty uch all good. Where the hotel part reception was located/the entrance ws very confusing - I ended up going in one way and past the kitchen etc to check-in - needs a clear sign in car park and instrcuctions upon booking. Frideg in room was a bit noisey. Big square German style pillow - maybe a choice with a more UK style oblong pillow.
