Beautiful home in quiet area. The dogs loved the garden and being able to run around! Amazing to have the fireplace in the winter. We loved it!

Despite a problematic initial arrival, in which the host neglected to send the house code, we soon settled in and eventually enjoyed our stay. However, there were issues. There were multiple large dog poohs in the backyard, many large bugs, both alive and dead, scattered throughout the house, the TVs, though plentiful, were quite clunky and lacked most streaming services, the barbecue was outrageously dirty and frankly sickening and the shower upstairs was very foggy and low pressure. Even though there were problems, there were also very nice features such as a very good location, a relaxing spa bath and a massive yard, great for our dog. If you are advertising as dog friendly though, you should probably have a dog door. All in all, we enjoyed our time, but as you are advertising it as a 5 star property it definitely needs more attention in its up keep and cleanliness.

Great property, great location, very spacious, beautiful big kitchen bench, ver nice bathroom. 1 downfall, no aircon in 2 bedrooms downstairs. We had young kids in those rooms with 30+ degree days. Would stay again.

Damais was gorgeous, clean and plenty of room for all our guests. The views were lovely and rooms were like staying in a resort. We will be back.

The whole process was easy and seamless. The property itself was amazing, clean and had everything we needed. We stayed with our family 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 13 and another family who have two children aged 14 and 10 plus our little French bulldog. Accommodated everyone including the dog. We felt very at home and would be very happy to stay again. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you!!!

Luxury plus pet friendly
We just completed a stay at Damais for 3 nights - two families made up of adults, teenagers and 2 dogs. The house had a great set up; the bedroom upstairs was a perfect space for the teenagers, and the adults and pooches hung out downstairs. The beds were comfortable; the log fire was most welcome at night; and the kitchen was well kitted out for meal preparation. We went for walks with the dogs into the state forest straight from the house, and yet we were also only a few minutes from town.
We had a wonderful time at Damais and would recommend it as a great place to stay in Daylesford.

Relaxing stay with picturesque views and surrounds
Relaxing stay in a great location. Although the days were rainy, we were able to light the beautiful fire and enjoy the picturesque views. It’s close enough to the centre of town yet far enough to feel like you are in the foothills of the great dividing range. Thank you Lorin and Craig.

Lovely Property
Lovely property! just had a few negatives, no gas in the dirty bbq, flywire doors were broken, floors in living area not overly clean and not enough towels for everyone but with all this aside it was a perfect house for our family gathering.

Had a lovely relaxing weekend stay. Not too far from Daylesford; quiet area. Large living area too which meant we weren't living on top of each other.

DAMAIS absolutely wonderful house
we were very impressed with this gorgeous property absolutely loved it. Spacious, clean and modern just a short walk to town. great kitchen with all the utensils you need. Highly recommend staying here was fabulous.

The property was perfect for our girls weekend! The house has everything we needed, was clean and close to the lake and shops!

Weekend getaway
Over all a great weekend and the property was fantastic.
Our only concern was the blinds down stairs are see through and no blinds on the glass door and being all females just felt a little un easy that anyone could see in of a night time.
That was our only concern.
We will be booking again next October

Wonderful in every aspect
Everything in this property is how it should be, beds comfy, kitchen fully equipped, kids games and toys we're loved by our daughter, fireplace beautiful and to top it off the views of the mountain range we're truly amazing. It's truly everything and more than what you see in the photos.

White Weekend in August
It was a great place for our girls weekend away! It was made very special with the sprinkling of snow and we enjoyed the wood heater immensely. We had a fabulous time.

A clean, stylish and cozy house that ticks all the boxes. The wood fired heater definitely made the winter nights more relaxing. The beds were really comfortable with crisp, clean linen. The house offered everything you need for an enjoyable time in Daylesford including a great location.

Perfect for a girl's weekend away
It's rare to find a property such as Damais, which is just as well set up for a group of singles as it is for a family or couples. Damais was a great base for our easter girl's weekend. Clean, modern, quiet location, close to town. Large lounge area and dining table which easily fitted the whole group.

Stunning home in great location
The house was stylish and beautifully appointed. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The view was serene. We were a short walk from the lake and town. We would happily visit again.

Excellent three bedroom property with forest views at the edge of town.
We enjoyed our stay at the property. There is a spacious lounge and dining area and TV with a range of videos. The master bedroom is upstairs with two king beds back to back. The property suited our family group. There is a walking track although a bit steep at the start which takes you to Lake Daylesford in about 20 minutes. There is a lovely view across the valley.
