Dieses klassische zweistöckige Haus ist der perfekte Rückzugsort für alle, die einen ruhigen Rückzugsort suchen und nur wenige Minuten von den Aktivitäten der Innenstadt von Douglas und der Innenstadt von Saugatuck entfernt sind. Das Haus ist unverkennbar und stilvoll eingerichtet und verfügt über vier Schlafzimmer, drei Bäder und ein halbes Badezimmer, einen offenen Küchen- / Wohn- / Essbereich im Erdgeschoss sowie ein großes Wohnzimmer und eine Küchenzeile auf der unteren Ebene. Die zweite Etage bietet ein großes Hauptschlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und eigenem Bad sowie zwei weitere Schlafzimmer (eines mit einem Queensize-Bett und eines mit zwei Einzelbetten über volle Etagenbetten), die sich ein Badezimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten teilen. Die untere Ebene dieses Hauses besteht aus einem großen Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile sowie einem weiteren Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Bett und einem kompletten Badezimmer. Das absolut beste Merkmal dieses Hauses ist jedoch der Hinterhof. Gleich neben der abgeschirmten Veranda finden Sie einen neu errichteten Pool, einen Whirlpool für 6 Personen, einen entspannenden Loungebereich und einen benutzerdefinierten Grill- und Essbereich. Nur wenige Gehminuten von den Geschäften und Restaurants der Innenstadt von Douglas und nur fünf Autominuten von den Stränden des Lake Michigan und der Innenstadt von Saugatuck entfernt, bietet dieses Miethaus einen ruhigen und entspannenden Ort, an dem Sie sich bequem ausbreiten können Saugatuck / Douglas hat zu bieten.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location!! Struggled with pool alarm on door keeping us awake the first night but the property managers fixed it the next day. The house was clean and well stocked with necessary appliances. Loved the pool and hot tub for some evening swims after day at the lake and in town. Would definitely stay here again!!!

The house, pool and location were great! The kids’ books and toys were a pleasant surprise, and the house was very well stocked for our stay. Our 3 year old is already asking to come back next summer.

This is the second year my family has rented this house. Perfect for a group on a quiet street that has easy walking or biking riding to downtown Douglas. And, a very cute wine shop across the street. You can’t beat the location and pool on property!

This property is wonderful! We had a great week! The pool, hot tub and screened in porch were great hangout spots for everyone in our group.
The kitchen and living spaces were cozy and very clean. I would highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to get away in an awesome house close to two fun towns!

We had a great experience at Alex's pool house. Spacious, clean, fabulous location and great fun with the pool and hot tub. The layout was neat and the bedrooms all have their own big bathrooms which is so helpful. It was comfortable and well stocked, the rental company/owner were responsive and helpful and we had no issues. Only minor items for recommendation would be additional seating at the indoor table and more outdoor lighting for the outdoor table but those are so minor (maybe it will help you as you're packing). Would absolutely stay again

Great pool
The pool was fabulous, and it was nice to have umbrellas and trees by the pool to find some shade. If you are staying, plan on bringing some extra towels for the bathrooms and kitchen (and pool). There is only one hand towel per bathroom, not per person, and there was no towel provided for the half bath sink. We did a lot of cooking, so I’m glad we brought our own kitchen towels and dishrags. Also, bring some folding chairs if you want to seat the whole family at the dining table. There are only 6 chairs, but we easily sat 8 with a few folding chairs that we brought. The closets are big, and it was nice to be able to unpack our things and hang up clothes.

We had a wonderful time at Alex's Pool House. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The pool and hot tub were great extras. It was close to most everything, but not too loud. We hope to stay again soon!

Beautiful House and Great Location!
Our family loved our weekend stay at Alex's Pool House! The pool was still open which our kids loved. House had plenty of space and more! Location was ideal - quick walk to downtown Douglas and a quick drive to Saugatuck.

Great family getaway!
Spacious bedrooms and living areas, all very clean. The outside, screened in porch and pool are are especially great with a large group, lots of space to spread out and the pool is fantastic. And highly recommend the Douglas area, the house is a 5 min or less walk to downtown while also being on a quiet street. Great weekend stay!

Great Repeat Visit
My family and I enjoyed our second stay at Alex's Pool House this past June. We had stayed initially last August and definitely knew it was a place we wanted to return to. The house is clean, spacious, in a great location, and the backyard cannot be beat. My family and I especially enjoyed time in the screened in porch and of course the swimming pool.

The house was great and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It was within walking distance of downtown Douglas, which was such a cute little town. We would definitely recommend staying at this place.

Clean house great location!
One of the cleanest houses I have ever stayed in as far as rental properties. The remodel is beautiful and the pool is wonderful! So close to Douglas and Saugatuck both walking distance. Over all great house.

Great house—great location
Had a wonderful three night stay with our children and grandchildren. Kids loved the pool, adults loved the hot tub! Easy walk to town of Douglas where we found a nice wine bar and a good coffee shop. Will definitely be back!

Great location & house, uncomfy beds
The house was better than the photos! Great outdoor space. Walking distance to downtown Douglas, great coffee shop nearby. 5 minute drive to Saugatuck. We brought a toddler and he enjoyed playing with the toys available at the house:). Only complaint is that the beds were very uncomfortable.

Great week in Douglas
Outstanding house for our family of 8. The outdoor space and pool + hot tub were a highlight. The house is newly renovated. The only small downside was that the dishwasher was broken on arrival and was not fixed throughout the week. Overall, we really enjoyed the house, the outdoor space and location (very close to Douglas, Saugatuck, and the water). We would definitely stay again!
