This property is a great location. Within walking distance to restaurants and stores. It is on the bay for swimming or boating. There are fun things to do: Pool Table, Rafts, Bikes. Spacious with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Sunsets are fantastic

-While the owner, Mike, was nice and allowed us to check in a little bit early, communication was not on par with other hosts whose homes we’ve rented - took over 24 hours for a response to our first message while onsite and no response to our second message.
-The home, on the surface seemed pretty clean at first inspection, but seemed like it was really was just spot-cleaned.
-Linens and towels were provided but the beds were not made - mixed-match sheets were simply left folded on each bed - this was the first time we have ever experienced this. May seem trivial but having beds already made and inviting really sets the tone for the stay.
-The furniture was very worn and missing buttons, etc. The carpets were old and very worn. The bed in the middle bedroom was not level - the left side was worn and unleveled with the right.
-The listing said that there was a hot tub - we could not find it anywhere. Nor did it truly have a jacuzzi tub - the button was not connected to anything (you could literally pull it out and there was an empty hole). Text to the owner about where the hot tub was as well as how to turn on the jacuzzi jets was met with no response.
-There were ant traps placed all over the kitchen…on counters, on floors…not dog/child friendly.
-I had high expectations that this home would be the best one we’ve rented yet by the shore but it turned out to be the worst. It felt more like a stay at a run-down motel.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful property (just the two of us) for a few days until our kids came down. From start to finish, we had a blast! The kids loved the bay— swam and used the floats that were provided. Absolutely beautiful sunsets and just an overall relaxing time. Mike was easy to connect with as well.

My family and I had an amazing time at this property. It was right on water with very nice neighbors in a safe neighborhood. House was clean with lots of amenities. All attractions were a bike ride away. Owner was super friendly and very responsive every time! Highly recommend:)

We had a great visit here! It met our needs as we wanted to include our pets and also bring our own boat. The house location is amazing with proximity to bars, restaurants, shopping and the beach! We had a wonderful time. To be completely transparent we hope that the owners invest in the property by getting new flooring, doors and appliances. While all the land and water sports items are nice some were in disrepair and plan to bring your own adult life-vests as only youth and small vests were available. These items are tired and need to be updated. Our rating with updates would be a five star.

My husband, daughter and I had a fantastic stay at this property. It was just a few blocks from the beach and the pier, and had everything we needed. The home was clean and well stocked. The owner was extremely kind and responsive. He did his best to make sure we had a fantastic stay, which we did! Highly recommend.

the house and location are great, very nice neighbors. Lots of room for our family, the description of the home is accurate. The owner is very nice and is easy to communicate with. All of the extras include with the home made our time there very enjoyable. We would stay at this home again.

Lots of activities in the area. Walking distance to just about anything. House on the bay with pool table, kayaks, water toys, bikes, etc. my family had a great time!

Lots of things to do
If you love being at the water and at the beach, this property is for you. A short trip to a nice beach (we biked, drove and walked there on different trips) and it was easy. However, we also swam off the dock. The house also has a lot of amenities to use. We had a great week.

Best stay in WW!!
Book it! The house is just incredible, being right on the bay made it our best stay in WW yet. The house is clean and has everything that you would need to live the bay life. There are lots of bikes to take down to the beach and there is access for a boat as well.
Mike was great and extremely accommodating. He communicates quickly and effectively!
There was plenty of space for everyone, comfortable rooms, and the neighbors were fun! We can’t wait to come back!

Nice mini vacation
This house was one of the best places we have stayed in in WW! Micheal is a great owner who really cares about his home. When we got there he was still cleaning but had called to ask when we would be there, my husband and Micheal spent a hour or more talking.. Very pleasant host and the house was great being able to bring our granddogs with us was awesome! We'll stocked home! We will be back!

Great Stay at Property!
Nice Property in Wildwood! Mike was incredibly helpful with our request, and he even offered free early check in and late check out. The property is in nice condition and plenty of amenities inside. The area was closed during winter, but we don’t need to get out of the house since it offers so much! Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Peaceful
Check in was easy. We were all there for a wedding. My 4 daughters and 5 grandchildren, ages 12 thru 21, loved the place. Plenty of fun things to do without leaving the house. Wish we had more time, would’ve loved using all the water gear provided by Michael. Lots of bicycles, aquatic boats, boards, etc. lovely pool table, lots of board games, electronic dart board, beer pong game, etc. Plenty of room for everyone. Michael was quick to respond and very helpful and easy going. Everyone had a great time, thank you and I would strongly recommend staying at this home. I know we will when we come back to Wildwood again.

This was a wonderful house with several amenities! It is super peaceful to be on the lagoon, and dealing with Mike was wonderful. Highly recommend him and his place!!

House was nice. Beautiful views. Owner was still cleaning house when we arrived was ok with it at first but he was there for 4 hours!

Amazing
This house is awesome! Michael is amazing! We had some questions before our arrival and he answered immediately. We are a family a 6 and had more than enough room. The house was spotless. We can’t wait to rent this house next year!!

Family fun time
It was a great place to sit and relax. We crabbed and fished off the dock. We rented a boat that we could dock at the house which was fun.

Look no further!
Great two weeks in wildwood! This house is right on the water and has all the “toys” for a fun filled week. Located close to a park with tennis, pickleball, basketball and playground makes it easy for some family fun when your not sitting on the beach or playing in the canal. The home owner has great communication and will make sure your stay goes smoothly.

Wildwood, NJ vacation
The house was spacious. It had plenty of room for our 4 adults and 5 children. The location was good. It had a nice view of the bay and evening sunsets. We enjoyed the outside space and even rented a boat the one day, so it was nice that the house had its own boat slip!
The house wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. It was also advertised to have beach chairs, bikes, fishing rods, etc. We couldn’t find any beach chairs, the bikes were old and rusted and the fishing rods didn’t work. That was a little disappointing.
Our first 24+ hours at the property, we did not have hot water. We reached out to the owner a few times before hearing back. We did have someone come out and they were able to fix it fairly quickly, thank goodness!
Overall, I’d say 3/5 stars for this property!

Great weekend
We had a great weekend even though the weather was not the best. The location was great, the house was clean and had everything you needed. All the equipment such as the paddle boat and canoes for the bay was amazing. We would definitely rent this house again!

Perfect house for a family getaway
House stocked with tons of fun beach stuff to enjoy. Fully stocked kitchen gadgets. Great location and walkable distance to the boardwalk. Plenty of room for 7 adults and a toddler to share the living space. Would definitely come back!

This House has Everything!
If you love being on the water in a spacious house with many things to do, then stay here! The owner was very accommodating, and we had use of bikes, and a pool table, and so many other “toys” for the weekend. There are plenty of decks and outdoor space, and everything you need is in the house.

Beautiful and thoughtful property for vacation in Cape May area
This was a townhouse with a comfortable arrangement for 10 people. The property is almost pristine with so many of wonderful decorations. It's right on a canal with a deck and a bunch of adjacent piers. People staying in this property can have a very good indoor as well as outdoor time with relaxation and activities (biking, kayaking, pool, and board games). If ever we are coming back to Cape May I'll have no hesitating of reserving this townhouse again. Thanks also for very prompt and professional communication all the time.

A wonderful location and vacation place
Our family had a wonderful stay. The house overlooks a scenic canal and is a bike ride to the boardwalk. There are plenty of bikes and a pool table which kept our teens entertained and off their devices. A great getaway for the family!

The house is really nice and cozy and well-stocked.We had a great time fishing and looking for blue crabs. We had better luck at a local pier than at the house's pier, but we did get some nibbles. We caught blue crab and prepared a wonderful crab boil at the house. It was a great late season weekend getaway.

Quiet, Comfortable Off-Season Slice of Heaven
We always travel to beach locations just before or just after peak season - this time, we were looking for a inter-coastal location where we could practice with our inflatable paddle board and enjoy some nice meals (some home-cooked, some take out)- essentially, isolating as we have been for months but in a different place. It was perfect for all of the above. There were only two of us plus our two small dogs - so we had plenty of room! The small deck off of the main level was our escape from the world and our dining room as well as our perch for watching beautiful sunsets and chatting with the very friendly and welcoming neighbors(who recommended some nice places for take out as well). We will definitely be back and bring more family next time. Thanks Mike!

Wonderful vacation in terrific house/location!
We were lucky enough to rent for a month. This house was fantastic- very roomy and comfortable! Michael, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating. An added bonus to the rental is that he allows use of the sheets, towels, bikes, paddle board, etc.
The location on the cute little harbor is also terrific and the neighbors were friendly. There was plenty of activity for our teenage son and guests , too- swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, crabbing, biking, etc.
You can’t beat the sunsets here, either!

Wonderful Wildwood
We had a great stay at Michael’s place. It was nice to be off the beaten path but close enough to bike anywhere. Sitting on the dock was relaxing. We loved the kayak and stand up paddle board. Even kayaked to the wharf restaurant! House was huge and had everything you might need. We would all return next year.

Fun time!
We typically book a house on the beach but this time we tried the bay and I have to say.. it was a great vacation. Mike allowed us to check in early while he cleaned which was really kind of him. He has bikes, kayaks and a paddle board for the kids to use. It really added to the vacation. The kids were always outside fishing from the dock or even In the kayak or just going for sunset adventures in the Bay Area.
He had bikes for our entire family which saved us a great deal of money. We didn’t have to rent them.
The neighbors are very close to you so if you are like us ( used to renting houses on the beach in Delaware) we were feeling a little cramped at first but then as the days passed we enjoyed the neighbor presence and it all blended together. Everyone was very friendly.
Thanks to Mike for always checking in and making sure things were ok! It was a different vacation from what we were accustomed to to we are typically in Delaware and it’s quieter. But we choose Wildwood this time because we wanted excitement for the kids. well, Wildwood is exactly that! It’s a lot of people in one place but it had a nice feel. We would definitely

Traditional Jersey Shore Beach house on the bay
We had a great time and the best part of the house is by far the private dock and being on the bay with all the boats - and also the water toys it comes with! Everything though was a bit beaten up, including the house (ie ratty chairs, broken umbrella, a few electrical outlets don't work) but I suppose that is general wear and tear on a rental home. I would bring your own linens if possible as the towels and beach towels had seen better days. And we had to help clean when we walked on as it wasn't really a a hardcore 'cleaning service' like I normally expect when doing airbnb or vrbo as it was just one guy.. I don't want to be too negative as the owner is great, seems super nice and very responsive. I would say it's great family style if you have kids type of house, - not luxury or anything, but all good!

What a beautiful home and an awesome landlord!
We typically stay at the beach when we vacation at Wildwood but we decided to try something different this year. Otten’s Harbor is so beautiful and such an amazing shore experience. Mike, the landlord, is extremely gratuitous in providing a beautiful home, access to his dock, use of his bikes and water sports equipment. Any issues that came up were immediately addressed and resolved as he is prompt and efficient at responding to his messgaes. We will definitely be a repeat renter at this location! Thanks again Mike.

Great property. Great for family vacation!
Mike, the owner was great and very helpful. Plenty to do in the area or right at the house if you don't feel like leaving! My kids spent time every day in the water using all of the great water equipment at the house. Great house, lots of room and lots of amenities. I would highly recommend this house for a week at the Jersey Shore! Enjoy!
