Große Hütte in einer ruhigen Sackgasse zwischen Short Sands und dem Klumpen-Licht entfernt. Fünf Minuten zu Fuß zum Short Sands einen Weg und Browns Eis der andere! Im ersten Stock hat Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer, Wintergarten, Küche, Bad mit Wanne / Dusche und Waschraum mit voller Größe Waschmaschine und Trockner. Es gibt eine kleine Veranda aus der Rückseite für den Morgenkaffee große in der Sonne! Im Obergeschoss verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer.
Großen privaten Garten, die meisten davon auf der Seite der Hütte; mit genügend Platz für eine Familie cookout (Gas-Grill im Hinterhof) und Parkplatz für 3 Autos.
Es gibt eine Gasheizung auf der Hauptebene für die kalten 'Nebensaison' Nächte.
Die Küche ist komplett mit Töpfen, Pfannen, Geschirr, etc. bestückt Wir stellen Decken und Kissen, aber Sie müssen Ihre eigene Bettwäsche und Handtücher mitbringen.

An entire house to yourself on a private, dead -end road, less than a 10 minute walk to Short Sands Beach, and a 15 minute walk to Nubble Light House (where you can also get an amazing dinner, drinks, and ice cream for your efforts!) House has comfortable furniture, lawn parking, and owners provide ALL essentials from a full-sized stackable washer/dryer, full-sized fridge/freezer, to a propane grill, fire pit, grilling tools, s’mores sticks, microwave, coffee maker, and everything in between, needed to comfortably enjoy a beach vacation WITH kids!
All other essential amenities provided—in case you’ve forgotten to bring something—including beach chairs and a wagon/cart!
House is laid out to provide spaces for individuals, small, and large groups to gather—Sun porch, with queen futon, 2 bedrooms (sleeps 8 adults total) covered front and back porches, patio, a large grassy side yard! Everyone has their own space—helpful at times!
Owners were super easy to reach/communicate with, instructions clearly laid out, and BEST OF ALL…having an outside shower with HOT WATER! ( as of now it’s not enclosed, but it’s near the back patio—and in bathing suits, or a little creativity on your part, there can be plenty of privacy!
We will definitely try to book this home again for future vacations—If a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located family rental home are what you’re looking for, I highly recommend this one!

The area was beautiful and house was perfect for what we needed it for. Didn’t get to enjoy the area as much as we wanted since we were part of a softball tournament. But the over house is very nice and area is just beautiful!

Booked this for my uncle and his daughter and 2 children ages 11 and 14 for two nights. They loved it, went to Nubble, Short Sands beach, Lobster Cove and a good time was had by all. I'd recommend this cottage it was clean, and location was stellar. Loved the little back patio with its gas fire pit, we made s'mores with the kids...

We’ve stayed in York Beach area before but this cottage was perfect for hanging out with family, either in the main living area, the porch or the lovely back patio. The ground were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time this year. This was our first time staying here and I can’t wait to return. From the location, to the overall condition of the property- as well as the amenities included, we had a wonderful experience. It felt like a home away from home. The owners were down to earth and very responsive. I could not express just how pleased my family and I were to have spent our highly anticipated week in York this year. Nestled— like a quiet oasis on a dead end street— this lovely seacoast property was a perfect getaway for our ever-growing family.
Inside this bilevel home, all the living spaces had a cozy eclectic feel. The first floor contained the main family areas with sun room, living room, dining room, well-stocked kitchen, full bath & laundry units. Then located upstairs were two good sized bedrooms—one with a queen sized bed; the other had 3 beds-a double and two twins.
Outdoor living spaces included: a back porch where we savored an early morning cup of coffee; the lilac-lined side yard with a large grassy play area; and a rear patio where we enjoyed an evening cookout.
We took daily advantage of the short 10 min
walk to Short Sands beach 🏖. We also had a picnic lunch at the Nubble Lighthouse (3/4 mile away) and enjoyed an ice cream 🍨 treat from Dunnes (1/2 mile away).
Lastly, we want to shout out to our gracious hosts—who were welcoming, easy to reach and very responsive. Thankyou Sue and Glenn—we are looking forward to visiting again!

This VRBO rental is in a great location on Cape Neddick and Nubble Lighthouse is a short walk. The house was clean and everything we needed was provided. My only complaint (and it's a small one really) is that the furniture is outdated and not very comfortable.

Thank you for sharing your cottage with us! York is our favorite beach and we had no shortage of things to do. We spent time at both Short Sands and Long Sands and loved that we could walk to either. The house reminded both my husband and I of our family cottages on Cape Cod and Pine Point, ME when we were growing up. The firepit, porches, patio and yard were beautiful additions to a wonderful seaside cottage. Thank you :^)

We immediately felt at home. It was clean and for its size it was remarkably spacious due to the porches and patio. The house has everything we needed and more. Most important, the beds were comfortable! Sue, the owner was a great communicator and check in was smooth. The walk to the beach took about 10 minutes but my 9 year old son and 80 year old mother had no problem, in fact, they enjoyed it.

Wonderful time
We have stayed in many laces in York. This by far suites our needs and fulfilled our expectations completely. Clean beyond clean, comfortable with yard for cornhole badminton etc.

Relaxed, comfortable, and happy
We cannot thank Sue and her family enough for sharing their beach cottage with us. The house was comfortable, clean, and stocked with everything you need for a week away in Maine (including lobster pots and gear!) The breezy back porch and front deck were spacious and great for late night sitting. Our two young boys absolutely loved running around the large side yard all week. Although very warm during the day with no AC, Sue and family provided many a window and floor fan to keep us cool...and the ocean breeze provided the coolest, sweater weather each night which made for easy summer sleeping. Our favorite part of all was loading up each morning and taking the sunny, scenic walk less than 10 mins down to Short Sands beach and spending the day playing in the sand and waves. We loved every minute our trip and hope to return some day!

House was exactly as advertised and met our needs perfectly. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

An absolute treasure!!!
This beautiful cottage is a pure gem!!! It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everyone who was a guest felt right at home and cozy!! We especially loved the close proximity to the beach. And Sue and her husband are the perfect hosts! Sue was so helpful and quick to respond to whatever questions I had.

Perfect Sisters weekend
The cottage was quintessential New England. I wasn’t surprised to hear the history; the pictures on the walls, furnishings and everything radiated family and past gatherings.
There was everything we needed to serve food, extra blankets to snuggle with and the fire pit was also fun to gather around in the evening. The gas heater also took off the chill!
What a wonderful neighborhood, great places to walk and eat.
Sue was very responsive, got back to us quickly with any questions, and was extra flexible. We hope to return soon!

Location, location, location! Easy walk to Short Sands or Long Sands, and the Nubble. Clean, well equipped, good communication, reasonably priced - you can't go wrong, book it!

Lovely cottage
My friend and I stayed here and the house was bigger than I thought it would be…2 outdoor porches, one enclosed porch, and the beautiful fire pit area. It is close to downtown and the beaches.
The neighborhood was lovely and we felt very safe walking at night.
Sue, the owner, communicated with us if we had any questions.
The weather was not the best but we made the of it and had a couple of beach days. Long Sands beach was our favorite!

Charming Get Away
This was a last minute getaway for our family. It was our first time staying at York, Beach. The house is exactly what you want during a Maine vacation. It is charming and comfortable. The house had everything you could ever think of for a beach vacation. The owner is lovely and helpful. The next door neighbor is kind and welcoming! I can not say enough about how charming this home is. We had an amazing vacation. When the days are packed with action, it was so nice to come back to a little story book cottage. Thank you so much!

Perfect beach cottage
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It's centrally located to beaches, Nubble Light, downtown York Beach for shopping and restaurants and the area is very walkable. The cottage was perfect for the four of us that stayed there. Things to note-there is only one bathroom located off the kitchen downstairs, away from the upstairs bedrooms and the home has no air conditioning but there is a lovely patio with a grill and fire pit outside and beach chairs and toys available for use. The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, glasses, silverware and everything we needed to do some cooking. 10/10 would recommend and would rent again.

Repeat visit, loved as usual
This is possibly one of our favorite places to stay in York. Sue and Glenn are wonderful and getting in touch with them is easy, the property is just as described and upkept very well. Walking to either short sands or Nubble Light, parking is easy, grill out back. What else could you need. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Quaint and Quiet
Such a cute cottage right in the middle of downtown, Short Sands beach and Nubble Lighthouse. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware to cook a feast, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was hot. Excellent location. Sue was easy to communicate with and answered all questions promptly. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Cozy Cottage
This is an authentic New England summer cottage, including bead board attic bedrooms and exposed framing of the back porch. We enjoyed the casual and comfortable atmosphere, the gravel lane, and parking on the "green". The proximity to town, ocean, and lighthouse makes this a beautiful location for exploring on foot.

Family vacation
We can’t say enough good things about our stay! The house was super super clean, and had everything we could have imagined. Beautiful front and back porches, great for coffee in the mornings! Amazing patio with a fire pit and grill. The location to the beach was perfect, short 8 min walk to short sands, and a 5 min drive to long sands. Sue was incredible to deal and very responsive. Can’t wait to return! Would highly recommend this place!!
