The location is amazing! The place is reasonably well equipped. The bed was excellent.

No staff and no way to contact. Listing says we will be met, but that does not happen. There was an email explaining the complex process for getting in. Unfortunately, I did not actually receive the email until the next day (they clearly sent it, I don’t know what took it so long) and the phone number in the listing was disconnected. I spent 2+ hours on the phone with Booking customer service trying to resolve this and finally Booking was able to forward the email and I figured out how to get in. Before we thought we would get in, I ended up renting for another room for that first night. No staff and no working phone number is an absolutely unacceptable combination for a unit that is at best complex to get into. Also, the listing is for a one bedroom but there are no walls or doors separating the bedroom, so it is clearly a studio apartment. If we had been sharing it (there is a fold out couch), we would have been VERY upset.

location is amazing!! At the hearth of Florence. Close to everwhere

Room wasn’t clean enough. Towels were smelling bad and hairs were everywhere. Also cup and plates had dirt on it.

no nreakfast , the flat was clean and stylish, but to nousy all night to sleep. unbearably noisy alll night,

Rhe flat needs double glazzed windows or thikler sound proof curtains as the noise of tue square at night all night is unbearable, or at least leave earplugs.

The unit is very modern and stylish, well-designed with a small kitchenette. The bathroom is large with a modern sunken shower and large vanity and sink. The building is historic, with nice entryway, stairs, and lift. The best thing about the unit is the location right on Piazza Della Signoria. This is an ideal location for so many sights in Florence, from San Minniato and Pitti Palace to the Duomo, Accademia, and train station.

It would be nice if the kitchenette had some cookware and plates. Also, due to the central location, there can be noise late at night from boisterous revelers and early morning from the many delivery trucks and street sweepers. It's not the fault of Signoria N.5, but those sounds are quite audible in the unit. I used a white noise app on my phone to disguise the noise and I had no trouble sleeping.

The property is located in an amazing area, close to all the main attractions and restaurants , all within walking distance.The apartment is well equipped , bed is comfortable (although I personally prefer a hard mattress as I have a back problem).Shower is great.The views from the windows are stunning and you have everything you need at hand in the Piazza. The staff is always making sure everything is ok.

Unfortunately the area is also very noisy which was a bit of a shock for me when we arrived and as I am a light sleeper I could hear every single noise from the street. The bells from the Palazzo Vecchio ring every 1/2 hour. To be honest the worst of all was people speaking loud in the early hours and the double glazing of the windows are not sealed enough to avoid them. The apartment has a lift from the old times which was lovely, however some guests didn’t close it properly and we had to go up through the seps several times. If you’re booking this property please make sure you can close the doors the right way.

the location is perfect!

no staff has ever met me during the stay. the area is so touristy that it is very noisy at night. you can’t sleep because of the noise. the property management should do something with the windows so as not to penetrate the noise. no human interaction with the property manager and no free water upon arrival.
