We loved so much about this property. It had all the comforts of home (particularly the AC which was great on this humid week). Awesome bank of windows in the living room and Master to see the lake. There was an open concept with the living room, dining room and kitchen. Bedrooms with varied sleeping arrangements and good size beds (thank. you for having a king in the Master). The location is down a mile long dirt road and I underestimated the power of mosquitos and deer flies in this area. That's my one "woe is me", because I love to walk the dogs. It was a very rainy time and lots of standing water. I imagine at a different time of year, they wouldn't be unbearable. However, at the house on the water side, no issue with any bugs. The home shares a private driveway with another house, and we loved the spacious law all around the home and privacy. It had a huge deck which we used for dinners and a nice grill. With regards to water access, there is a great dock and they have a boat lift. The swimming area is shallow so nice for dogs and children and does have a fair amount of vegetation, which may not be for everyone. We brought a paddle board and a little motorized fishing boat (which you could pull onto shore). Owners were amazing, very responsive, down to earth and a joy to rent from. Some homes pretend to be something they are not. This was exactly as the listing described and absolutely immaculate. We were sad to leave.

Large house and yard with plenty of room, and dog friendly! The neighborhood was very quiet and beautiful during our 5 day stay in foliage season. The house was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub, sitting by the outdoor fire pit, and just enjoying the peace and the view. There are several local farms for fresh foods, one in walking distance of the house. And the sandwiches from Hero's Welcome (about a mile away, on the main road) were great!

We enjoyed a recent stay (Sep 28-Oct 2, 2022) at this lovely home in a quiet corner of North Hero, VT. The home was immaculate and beautifully kept with all we needed to enjoy our mornings and evenings while there. (We spent most of each day traversing much of what the northwestern part of VT had to offer.) The beautiful, calm setting on the quiet point set the tone for each day and was a welcome respite after exploring all day. The new gray carpet was a nice surprise (from the pink shown in the online pictures) and was very cushy underfoot. Our only recommendation for future travellers is to be sure to bring coffee/tea/sugar and also seasonings if desired for any meal prep; as we found only salt/pepper and rosemary in the cupboard.

We had a short stay at this wonderful property while in North Hero for a wedding weekend at Camp Abnaki. We hope to return again in the future!!!!

We had a wonderful week at this comfortable house and property ! Love the view and hot tub! House is well appointed and clean. Close to iIsle of le motte and Dune beach. Not too far from Burlington also. Fun week in a great house!

Zach was great to deal with in the whole process. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The dock and boat lift was great and was secure for the boat over night. Never worried about how the boat would be in the morning. Lake front was grassy and not great for swimming but we used the boat as our swim platform. The cove was protected and great for the kids for water sports. Overall this was a great rental for the first time on the lake.

This property provided our family an amazing getaway to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area and the waterfront, located conveniently right in the backyard. The Owner of the property, Zachary was wonderful to work with - from the Reservation Confirmation to our check-in and check-out. From boating, fishing and kayaking to sitting on the deck with morning coffee, watching the sunrise and all of the birds (Kingfisher, Osprey and more) it was…perfect. Now, I must also mention the hot tub, the grill on the deck, the spacious Kitchen, Dining and Living Rooms, all of which had fantastic views of Lake Champaign, as did the Master Bedroom Upstairs. The house had everything you could need, so we made a couple of trips down the road to North Hero General Store for groceries, baked goods, deli, drinks and yes, even souvenirs! We also rented a Kayak & StandUp Paddleboard from them, which they delivered to the house and picked them up a couple days later. They have everything you might need and the employees are very friendly and helpful. We loved this place, it’s location on the Lake and North Hero and hope to return again!

Thank you so much for a great stay. The house was very clean and we all felt comfortable staying in your home. It was just the right size for a family of four and a set in of grandparents. Location was perfect for our kayak trips and the rail trail with our bikes. It was great to get back to the area. The A/C was a plus!

Owners of property made check in a very easy process. Great location right on the water. Rented kayaks for the week. Easy to have them delivered. Overall great stay.

My family and I rented this home, it was our first time in Vermont. We had a beautiful view of Lake Champlain and the master bedroom balcony was awesome for viewing the lake. The property is in a quiet off the main road neighborhood which was great for bike riding and close to Hero’s Welcome. The property had a campfire pit and a hot tub which was great! We really enjoyed our stay!

These owners are the absolute best in out experience of vacationing and are equivalent to any 5 star resort we have visited. The hot tub was freshly cleaned with well written instructions to maintain a safe environment. There was not a single issue with the home and allowed our family to have the most relaxing much needed vacation. House was well maintained and clean. Location in Carry Bay is perfect and the ease of access to the dock and lake views are outstanding. Zach was super responsive and ensured all questions were answered quickly. Great property - would highly recommend!

The house was in a private section of the lake and it was a great quiet family getaway. The he house was very clean and had everything we needed. The owner was very easy to communicate with and the rental process was as easy as could be.

Clean house, newly renovated & cosy with attentive host! Beautiful view of the lake, where you will get a chance to see local fishermen out for their daily catch (although the nightly flashing boat lights weren’t the greatest). The location couldn’t have been more perfect! The house is at the end of a beautiful dirt road that we walked daily to grab sandwiches at hero’s welcome or eggs at the local farm. We would deffinately recommend this place to anyone looking for a no frills cozy home in a Vermont paradise.

We loved the house, the area, and the lake! Very clean and well kept house. Nice neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. We would recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet vacation.

Lovely, user friendly home. The hot tub was large and a nice plus. Beautiful deck, nice barbecue grill and fire pit with wood supplied. One word of caution, the waterfront and dock are as pictured but the lakefront at the house is not great for swimming as it is somewhat shallow and weedy. Having said that there is a beautiful sand beach 10 minutes away.

The house was very well kept and up to date. Everything was as described and there were no unwelcome surprises. The grass was cut the day we arrived and the home was neat and cleaned well. We will definitely be staying here again next summer !

I have been coming to Lake Champlain for many years and have stayed at numerous rental properties. I can say without reservation that this property was the most clean and comfortable I have experienced. I will be staying here from now on and I guess that's the best testimonial one can provide.

The house was clean, well furnished, beautiful lawn, dock where we could load and unload passengers from our boat. There is a marina about ten minutes away where we could slip the boat. Zach was very accomidating and responded to any questions we had right away. Nice gas grill, HE washer/dryer and a 4 person hot tub in its own room completed the vacation.

Would like to start off by thanking Zach the homeowner. He was very accommodating to my friends and I on the dates we needed. The house and property were well maintained and very clean . All the appliances worked including the A/C , beds were clean and comfortable along with both bathrooms . Plenty of hot water , wich was great for a nice shower after a beautiful day of fishing on the lake. Look forward to staying here again in the spring. Thanks again Zach. Tom
