Was clean and cozy

This hotel was excellent!! The views were great, the staff was great, the facilities were great!! The room was clean, the pool area was clean, the lobby was clean, the breakfast area was clean and well stocked. The staff were very friendly and the views were great!! I would definitely come back to this hotel. Hill City is beautiful and this was our first time there, we absolutely would come back and stay here again.

Nothing, we liked everything about our stay. The only downside would be there is no elevator, and for some that is needed for accessibility reasons. However, we overheard the staff offering any assistance needed to a couple in need of special access to the second floor. This was exceptional!!

Great location, room was clean

Due to a snow storm arriving, we were not able to stay for two nights, and even though we let the hotel know this the afternoon BEFORE we arrived for the first night, they refused to modify our reservation. When we checked out the morning after the first night, they refused to give us a receipt, saying a manager had to issue it...no receipt was ever issued and we were charged for two nights. Also there was no contact by the manager as promised.

only giving an 8 instead of 10 because the breakfast could’ve been a little better. would be nice to have hot breakfast buffet since there’s only one restaurant serving breakfast in Hill City.

We enjoyed our stay. Close to downtown so we could walk there and back with ease. Room was plenty big. AC/Heater unit didn't work very good in our room. The last day it didn't work at all. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was normal hotel stuff. Pretty clean room. Halls were clean. The cleaning cart was always at our door but they never came in to clean the whole 3 days we were there. Which was fine we arent slobs and could manage ourselves.

Bad part was the cleaning crew was tapping on the doors all around us so early. Woke us up everyday. We booked our room in advance. $140+ per night. (Pretty high for what it was) but as we pulled up the hotel on the phone for directions we noticed the rooms were $68 per night. Was too late to cancel our reservations so we had to pay the $140 per night. They would not budge on the huge price difference on the room. That was pretty upsetting. We paid triple per night because we planned in advance. Seems wrong to me.

Beds comfortable. Pleasing decor.

This is not a full hot breakfast by any means. Hot referred only to a waffle you make on your own or any bagel or toast. There was yogurt and apples and cereal. To be a FULL hot breakfast it should have included some type of protein like eggs or meat. We also used the washer and dryer. The dryer was so loud you could hear it down the hall. Soundedoke it was going to die any minute.
