Comfort Inn is one of our favorites. But one thing is maddening - focus on guest experience and details - seems inconsistent across their brand. This one is at the 'lower end'. * We were given a lower level suite that required us to park around back of the property. We saw plenty of luggage carts on the main floor, but not a single one down there. * The living area (we had a suite) had NO tables. Not a coffee table or even an end table in the corner between the sofa and chair (weird!) - so finding a spot for drinks ans food, setting down a phone, was non-existent. * We hit the breakfast area at 7:30am. Bagels and mini-muffins were already gone ("We're getting more tomorrow" we were told.). We've been to Super 8s that were better.

The motel was 5 stars, clean and in a nice area. While most hotels have upped their breakfast bar game, this one is lacking. Over 4 days the only fruit was oranges, they put out bread and muffins and when they are gone they won’t replenish. My husband asked for muffins and was told they’re gone and they wouldn’t put any more out until the next day. No hot cereal or instant oatmeal. Sausage, eggs and waffles are pretty much it. Motel is great but restaurants are extremely limited in the area so the continental breakfast is one of few choices.

I called the manager of this hotel more than a week before our reservations and explained that our dog was diagnosed with cancer. Asked for a refund or if we could change the reservation to 2025 and pay the difference of the stay in 2025. She would not help in any way. It's sad that she has no empathy. Definitely not booking here in 2025.!

UTV owners with truck, trailer and UTV were taking up 3 parking spots neR the north end of property. This caused us with one car to park further out. Trailers should park down below on the pool size.

Nice clean room, easy check in, good breakfast and great location.

Staff was efficient and friendly. Everything was clean and orderly. The pool and hot tub area had no air flow and excessive chlorine smell. Our eyes started burning shortly after we entered and we could only tolerate it for 20 minutes.

On one exceptionally harsh night of our stay they were so bad, burning our eyes and hurting lungs my son coughed until he threw up. Breakfast was fine. Staff were good. My suggestion would be to make guests aware of the policy about personal items on beds. Overall things were just fine, nothing fancy.

Stayed 3 days on our trip to the Black Hills. So convenient to town. The desk staff were so friendly. The nicest staff we have ever experienced. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Didn't expect a microwave or refrigerator so that was a plus. The road to Keystone was right in front of our hotel and provided a beautiful drive. The 1880's Train Ride was just down the street. Our only comment would be that either pull the weeds or spray them in the rock gardens to make them more attractive. A little more flowers would help also. Otherwise, it's a great hotel and stay at the back of the hotel for the best view.

After putting in keystone numerous times, the site still put us in another town. We did not stay there. I booked the hotel the morning of and yet they wouldn’t fully refund our money. I had just broken my should a week before and could not ride in a car any longer. So we ended up at the Ramada. They were very accommodating and it was a wonderful place to stay.

After putting in keystone numerous times, the site still put us in another town. We did not stay there. I booked the hotel the morning of and yet they wouldn’t fully refund our money. I had just broken my should a week before and could not ride in a car any longer. So we ended up at the Ramada. They were very accommodating and it was a wonderful place to stay.

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the Comfort Inn in Hill City. Staff was friendly and helpful and suggested activities in town as well as other areas of interest within 30 miles or less. Convenient spot for this hotel in a quaint little town. Continental breakfast was the only thing that could've been better. Suggesting that there needs to be more egg/meat options as well as variety of fruit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. 😊
