Beautiful view right by the river that was a perfect few days away

My wife and i made a quick getaway to this cabin and lacked for nothing. It was a beautiful spot, and I hope to return.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Directions and check in were easy. The house was even better than advertised. Gorgeous river view, with everything anyone would need to have a great stay!

Quaint cottage along the river. Enjoyed the wildlife. Hot tub was not working which was the main reason we chose this location which was disappointing. Host had someone look at it but was not fixed-host did not follow up after this. Grill is charcoal, no charcoal on site.

We went in the winter so there wasn't much to do but the summer looks like it would be fun with the river being right there but we were looking to just get away and relax which this place fit perfectly.It was fun just relaxing in the hot tub and watching the deer cross the ice.Over all a great place to unwind.

We enjoyed our time at the cabin. The view of the river was exactly what we expected. We are planning on a return trip for next year.

The cabin was lovely. We have stayed here 4 times now. This year there were lots of updates such as a new couch, new chair, and new coffeemaker. We loved the hot tub, canoeing, fishing, and just relaxing in front of the fireplace. The bed was soft and the cabin was equipped with we needed. The cabin was so clean and we are just thrilled that we can bring our 2 dogs on vacation with us. Thank you for everything!

Beautiful location on the river in a fairly remote location. Everything you need to relax and get away. We all loved it and will plan to come back.

Hot tub too dirty to use,rule states if use canoe must return to top of steep hill;so could not use,too much road noise; So if we could have enjoyed these amenities it would have been worth the cost.

Before I even get to the peace and quiet, the cleanliness of the cabin, and the joy of a hot tub that can view the starry sky, let me start with the FISHING! 4 days (and part of one night) 40 carp and catfish 5 pounds and over (and 7 over 10 pounds) from the dock! The weather was great, the neighbors were quiet, and the fish were biting! The kitchen was excellent. All the pots and pans needed (measuring cups were missing, but they are now present thanks to my lady, Olivia.) The firepit is spacious and can contain a fire of normal fireplace logs (making it nice to dash back and forth from the firepit to the hot tub.) We give this 5 stars, and recommend it for anyone who wants a romantic, riverside getaway. (and the fishing!!!) By the way, please don't feed the baby raccoons that may come down to the docks when you are night fishing)

It was easy to find, the place was just like described, communication with the host was great but non-contact, and it was very clean. We very much enjoyed how private it felt despite having neighbors, and we loved canoeing on the river- which was one of the clearest bodies of water we’ve seen in Iowa. The hot tub was also amazing! We will be back soon hopefully!

My husband, me, and our two dogs stayed here and it was so wonderful! We just sat on the patio and enjoyed a fire most days while also being able to go in when it got to hot to enjoy the beautiful living room and large tv. It was a wonderful stay and the kitchen had all the appliances you could want and the bed was so comfy! Bathroom was 5/5 stars! It was a wonderful trip!

We loved everything about this cabin! It was perfect for our family. Highly recommend.

The cabin and property were as expected. Great fire pit and hot tub. The river was high and cold so was not able to take advantage of that feature. The closeness of the neighbors was not an issue. Overall a great place to just kick back and relax. The owner was accommodating. I might come back some fall season.

We had such a nice time! Everything you could need was provided! The inside had a comfortable bed, 2 big TV's to watch movies and all the kitchen things you need to cook. Outside there was a grill, hot tub and canoes! We had a blast canoeing. We only had time to stay one night, but in the future we plan on staying at least 2! Perfect place for couples or even a ladies night.

This little house was great for a weekend getaway! Beautiful view and very peaceful. The only complaint my boyfriend and I had was that there was no curtain or blinds on the main door so it left us feeling a little exposed in an unknown place.
