It was an excellent location complete with a dock on a bay. The dock was great since we brought a boat with us. Easy access at all tides to big water and on to Martha’s Vineyard. Plenty of room to accommodate the seven of us. Very accessible to the mall.

This property in Mashpee was an ideal spot from which to do so many things… runs, bike rides, clamming, boating, fishing, and just being. Ideally located on a quiet tidal pond with a dock allowing for boating, this well-appointed house offered a very comfortable soul-recharging spot. We were also lucky to have family ina separate house in the same neighborhood so having a family gathering was seamless. Wonderful location and perfect set up. Looking forward to next year!!

Our family of 9 adults immediately felt at home. The location on an inlet provided a sheltered access to the water while cold winds blew hard on the Atlantic coast a mile away. The house was well provisioned and maintained. There was more space than we expected from the photos on VRBO. We had a wonderful relaxing visit.

Our family loved our October stay at this property. The foliage on the property and around the pond was gorgeous. The location was easy to find and easy to use as a base for our many adventures.
The house was big enough for our group and included all of the comforts that we needed. Communications about the property during our stay were handled efficiently and effectively.

Waterfront with all the amenities you could ever need. Laundry, water toys, air conditioning, peaceful deck to read on, fully equipped kitchen. Style is quite dated, but everything worked and property owner is extremely responsive.

I'll get what little criticism I have out of the way. Furnishings and decor are dated, the kitchen cooktop is induction, and kitchen utensils are limited.
- dock is amazing and the boat ride to the sound or to the gorgeous washburn island is a nonstop Norman Rockwell painting.
-tide is only one and a half feet in this area so there's always water at the dock and the water was 85 degrees.
-beautiful view with unlimited pine scented shade on a private setting.
-I couldn't say enough of how spacious and comfortable this home is.
-gas grill is excellent and gets very hot for searing meat.
-master suite is huge and offers ample privacy from the rest of the home.
We would definitely go back.

We had a great time the place was at a great location. The addition of kayaks and bikes was so convenient. Wish it was a little more updated but that was minimal as our vacation was great.

Almost paradise
So many great things about this property: the location, the salt pond with wonderful kayaking and paddle boarding, the neighborhood is gorgeous, and it is close to everything you need: shops, restaurants, beach, grocery store, etc. The owners were attentive, and when we had an issue with the wifi, they immediately responded and went above and beyond to rectify the situation.
The one negative is the condition of the house: the furniture is worn and not very clean, the rugs are dirty, there were cobwebs on the lamps, etc. The deck and deck furniture are worn and a bit moldy, and the house is cluttered. For the price we paid, we expected a little more.

Slice of heaven!
Amazing! The views! The house! Sooo clean! Lovely neighborhood for walking or riding bikes (flat). Fishing was fun - caught 2 striped bass (we released but fun to catch)! Close to everything you need. Very relaxing actually read a book. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you Jamie - you were very nice and easy to deal with.

Great location, beautiful views, plenty of room for our family. We appreciated that there was one large dining table and an additional table for puzzles or games. Host was quick to respond to questions. Definitely recommend.

Family Cape Cod vacation
Great place for a family to spend time together. Beautiful house with a gorgeous water front view. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the water. Plenty of room for all 7 adults and one infant. Neighborhood was beautiful. Great nearby private beach for the boys to try fishing and the rest of us to enjoy the water. Jamie was very helpful and accommodating. We had a wonderful week!

Beautiful house with a great view
The house was the perfect size for our group with things to do nearby. We had use of kayaks that we could take right off the private dock on a beautiful large saltwater pond. The neighborhood is quiet, and all properties were well manicured. We were close to the beach and could ride our bikes there. We were very happy with it!

Beautiful clean house on the water
We decided on this spot for a last minute getaway over winter break. Beautiful view of the lake out back. Great layout with comfortable seating and areas to relax. Couldn’t get the gas fireplace going so the owner came over with an electrician and got it going while we were at a restaurant. Thumbs up for the quick response. Kitchen is functional, a few negative reviews seem overblown, just not high end chef ready. Great in winter. Summer must be amazing!

Pandemic Thanksgiving
Weird year. We decided to celebrate w our 2 adult kids w a Cape Escape. Lovely spot. Quiet, private, close to beaches. We may be back in the summer.

PROS: Stunning location on the water. Parked 23 foot Grady White in the back. Kayaks were our favorite part - buy more Jamie! Fishing from kayaks and the dock, you can catch some at dawn and dusk. Not really for swimming. Good birding in adjacent marshes / Jehu Pond conservation area abutting. Secret Beach Wills Work down the road is awesome. Close to Mashpee town beach and Commons. Very comfortable beds, central air. Nice area to bike around with stunning properties. The owner went out of her way to drive us over to the beach and she was courteous and friendly throughout. CONS: Was told after booking that the hot tub and rowboat were broken. Reserving the dates was kind of a mess - but the owners kindly gave us an extra night as recompense. The yard is described as fully fenced in but IT IS NOT - if you're thinking of bringing a dog (but there is a small kennel outside). Gate and fencing could be more secured to the water, we were nervous for the dog and four year old. Like others have said, house is in need of a full update. Re COVID: kind of poor prep: We asked for windows to be left open for our arrival and they were not; the windows don't open in some rooms and if they do, they only crank a little. There was no soap or hand sanitizer or paper towels or TP anywhere upon our arrival. There should be a day or two left in between guests IMO. Not sure how seriously they take COVID concerns. SUMMARY: 3.5 stars: The owner and the property, especially its location and recreational amenities are awesome. More serious COVID prep, needed updates and fixes, organization in booking, and accuracy of description would make this five stars.

Outide areas and furniture could of been cleaner and the basement had a fairly strong musty odor so it was not used much. I liked the design of the home, funiture and art in the home.

Lovely location on Little Neck Bay
Nice location for family and friends to visit. Gorgeous view and large outdoor porch. Access to water dock on property so one can canoe or kayak. A comfortable, relaxing, spacious house with large MB downstairs and 3 small BR's upstairs. Kitchen is small, but functional and should be upgraded appliance-wise. The owners are very nice and helpful and took care of our every request. We would rent here again if we ever decide to come back to New England for a month in the summer. This is a house that is great for a month+ rental and in a great location!

This was a perfect setting with plenty of space. It was a special treat to have a dock for my boat. Yard has plenty of privacy and a very quiet neighborhood. We absolutely loved our stay here. Michael and Jamie are very responsive to any needs.

Awesome!
We (a pack of seven adults, kids and our Golden Retriever Teddy) found New Seabury Home in great condition. Everything was just fine, in particular the kitchen was well equipped. The property and location are superb with close proximity to the beach as well as to stores and a cinema in Mashpee. Falmouth which is very close is certainly worth a trip as well. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will gladly return there.

BEST VACATION RENTAL EVER
This home must be seen, the photos cannot show how great this house is! My partner and I rented this home for a week during our stay on the cape. Every ten years friends from high school get together to celebrate our BIG birthdays, this year was 60. Since we travel to Cape Cod yearly anyway, we incorporated our reunion into our yearly trip.
The weather was awful, Cape Cod hit with the end of hurricane Jose'. We had extreme rain and wind. Naturally, this was a disappointment. However, the inside of this home was so warm and cozy, it really did not matter. We did get a few days of sunshine and were able to enjoy the decks, the dock and the calm water outside our windows. We never even had to touch the heat or air conditioner as the home is airtight. Friends stayed for three nights and there was plenty of room for all. The master bed and bath was like it's own world and very private.
Next year, there will be no looking for hours for a rental, or moving from Provincetown (We have been renting the same home there for years) to further "up cape" we have found our perfect home! The location is perfect. I have family and friends that live just over the bridge in Buzzards Bay, about 20 minutes away, the ferry to the island is about 30 minutes away, Plymouth about 40 minutes. Provincetown, a little over an hour.
As we were coming up from Provincetown in awful weather, with our two little pugs, these owners were VERY accommodating in getting the house ready early for us. I just can't say enough good about this rental.

A beautiful place to spend time with the family
Our family had a wonderful time staying here. My wife, baby and I took the master suite, while my sister, mother and mother in law each took their own bedroom upstairs. It was a perfect setup for such a gathering. The owners were very friendly and responsive, and the place had everything we needed. The views from the house, patio, and dock are even better than the pictures. We'd definitely love to come back someday.
