The House is perfect for big groups. It has the most well equipped kitchen - with multiple coffee pots, plenty of dishes, cookware, even two crock pots.
There are numerous bedrooms and bathrooms - we had 18 people and each couple had their own private space.
We used the kayaks and canoes on the beautiful lake - even in the end of October. And took a walk on the trails. It is quiet and peaceful.
There is enough space to have dinners together and enough space if people want to separate to read, watch tv, sit by the fire.
We have rented many large houses in the US and Europe and this is one of the best.
Highly recommend to all!

I hosted a business meeting/retreat at the Lodge for 3 nights with 11 guests. The property has everything you need. We hosted our meetings around the large table and in the bar area. Enjoyed the lake and beach and hiked the beautiful surroundings. Played basketball, table tennis. And we never saw another person. Communication with hosts was straight forward with kick reply times. Highly recommend!

Best ever
Our family holds a reunion every 3 years and we have stayed in at least 10 spots across the US; the group decided that Otter Creek was by far the nicest place we have ever stayed in. Absolutely no complaints and the seclusion and amenities were outstanding. We always enjoy making the main meal and eating as a group all together and the large table accommodated all of us while the kitchen was huge and easy to work in . Thank you so much!!

Awesome stay for a celebration!
We rented this space to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of space for the full house indoors and great space outside with the fireplace, porches and small beach with kayaks and canoes. The kitchen was an absolute dream and we loved the bar area as well. Hoping to figure out when we can go again! Highly recommended.

Beautiful! Perfect for a friends trip!
We have a friends Christmas get-away every year and with our growing group, this home was perfect for us. We had 20 people and it still felt spacious plus everyone had their own room and bathroom. That was very important to us! We could also all sit around the large table or gather around the fireplace comfortably. The caretaker was very nice and responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend the property!

Autumn Family Reunion
We had a great experience at Otter Creek Lodge. Our extended family gathers together every five years at different locations, and we all agreed, this was the best rental house ever! There was ample room for everyone, many different sitting areas, and well-stocked, top-notch kitchen (love the giant whiteboard). Plenty of activities for all ages; billiards, ping-pong, basketball, volleyball, Kan Jam, hiking. We finished every day around the fire pit and watched glorious sunsets! Brian, the caretaker, did a great job staying in contact with us and helping with any needs. Thank Jim and crew for wonderful accommodations for our family reunion! We look forward to returning.

Amazing property
We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge! The lodge is very remote and only 1 out of 3 homes on this private pond. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed to unwind and relax, even with our large group this place had more than enough room to spread out. The view from the deck is amazing overlooking the pond. We really enjoyed the beach area, swimming, fishing, boating and relaxing in the adirondack chairs. We played some good games of volleyball on the nice sand court. Had some really nice camp fires and did some hiking. Everyone from the older adults to the real young kids had a great time.

Perfect place for friends and family get together!!
We had a party of 20+ people and the house is very spacious having most bedrooms are bath attached, large kitchen and lots of game stuff. Both kids and adults loved the place. There is a nice pond close to the house for any water fun activities. Communication with Property manager was very good. The care taker John was helping with every questions we had. . I would recommend this pace for large reunion in a nice and calm environment in the middle of the woods.

Great weekend retreat at The Lodge
This property is absolutely stunning. All the comforts of a hotel in the middle of the Adirondack’s pristine beauty. This house has everything you need to prepare and cook great meals for a large amount of family and people. Large gathering spaces, both indoor and out make it a great place to relax and hang out with family and friends. You will never run out of things to do with a large private pond with comped and kayaks, a volleyball court, basketball hoop and ample space to play other outdoor games. There are lots of hiking opportunities within walking distance.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The private lake with blue waters., commercial kitchen for cooking , bedrooms , grounds, firepit , screened porch I could go on. Perfect spot if you are looking for true relaxation

Beautiful Lodge
Lodge was very nice, kitchen was amazing, pond was great for swimming & kayaking but no fishing (but good fishing is near by), living space was nice, temps were in the 90's while we were there so no AC was tough for sleeping.

Fennessy Family Reunion
Simply a beautiful home in the most tranquil setting. From the moment we got out of the car to the moment we left for home, everything was wonderful. Our reunion was the best ever for our huge family. We are currently discussing a return for next year!!! We all just fell in love. Thank you to Mr. Somers for sharing your beyond lovely estate and to Mike, the caretaker for having everything all ready for us.

Great setting, well equipped, and cared for
We’ve used Otter Creek Lodge for several years for large 14-22 person getaways. The place is fantastic - the setting is beautiful and private, well kept and supplied. We really have no complaints. All have enjoyed our stay each year and look forward to coming back. Jim Somers, the owner and Mike, Otter Creek’s caretaker, are a pleasure to deal with. Otter Creek is the best rental facility I’ve ever used for family and business getaways.

TEN visits and still going back!!
Beautifully maintained and furnished lodge in a quiet scenic spot next to a pond. Perfect for large groups . Most bedrooms have their own private bath. Awesome cooking kitchen, patio with gas fire pit overlooking a scenic pond, beach area for kids...trails to walk. Just so comfortable, clean and tranquil. Our favorite spot to visit with friends and their kids! The “kids” are now young adults and this lodge remains their favorite weekend of the year! HIGHLY recommend Otter Creek Lodge.

18 Years of the Best Vacation - Ever!
Otter Creek lodge has been a tradition in our family for 18 years. For my family (7 people), and my brother’s and sister’s families (19 people), it has been an amazing place to relax, rejuvenate and celebrate.
The natural beauty of this location is amazing and many years we never even left the house/grounds and just enjoyed the property. Now, we often explore the area (locally) and enjoy; hiking, swimming at the water falls, golfing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting…to mention a few.
The accommodations are great and property has something for everyone. The ownership has also continued to invest in the property and make upgrades year-over-year.
The best complement I can give Otter Creek is the fact that our (now) teenage children look forward to going today, just as much as they did when we first arrived in 2000.

The Perfect Place for a Family Reunion!
Beginning in 2001, we have gathered our family together at Otter Creek Lodge for an annual reunion for 18 consecutive years! None of our 7 grandchildren is old enough to remember a time that they did not come to the Lodge for a week of summer fun with the whole family. We have had as many as 24 people stay for all or part of the week.
The listing description of the Lodge and its facilities is accurate. The property is always thoroughly cleaned and prepared immediately before our arrival; each year it feels like we are returning home. Not only is the property well-maintained, but over the years the owner has invested a considerable amount in improvements to the Lodge itself and the grounds around it.
We have the Lodge completely to ourselves during our week, but there is a caretaker within easy reach by cell phone who can handle any questions or needs that may arise. This service has been very reliable over the years.
Although the family spends most of the week at the Lodge and at its beach on Hinchings Pond, there are other off-site activities that we enjoy as well. These include golf at the Brantingham Golf Club, swimming and water sliding at a nearby water flume and hiking on many of the nearby trails. Regarding restaurants, the commercial kitchen at the Lodge is so well equipped that we have never felt the need to go out for dinner.
We would absolutely recommend Otter Creek Lodge to friends, relatives or anyone who wants to enjoy a perfect family or group getaway.

Otter Creek is perfect for family reunions!
This was our 9th year at Otter Creek, and it couldn't be more perfect for our family reunion. There is plenty to do for all ages. The house is always clean and ready for us upon arrival, and the setting is absolutely ideal. We take walks, swim, just sit and read, play our version of Lake Ball (which among the 30 year olds can get quite competitive) catch up and enjoy our time together. The one thing to be aware of is if you have somebody that has mobility constraints. The main floor bedrooms do not have attached baths. My 93 year old father is still coming, and thank goodness, still able to get up and down the stairs to a room where he has easy access to a bathroom. We are ALL looking forward to our 10th year at Otter Creek in 2019.

Great relaxing retreat
Ottercreek Lodge has become a yearly retreat for our company and their families. It's a beautiful place to step back, relax and enjoy. Property is gorgeous and always well maintained and ready for a party, I highly recommend it for any large gathering.

Otter Creek Lodge (OCL) is an ideal family reunion venue!
This was our 4th stay at OCL. We just love the place. The property is well maintained and beautifully furnished. It boasts all the amenities necessary to build and nurture strong family ties. All 19 of us, from youngsters through us grandparents and from as far away as Colorado and Texas found the lodge a perfect respite and wonderful place to reconnect and enjoy one another in a serene and scenic setting. Family Reunion at Otter Creek
This was the 8th year having our family reunion at Otter Creek. We usually have about 25 people, ranging in age from 3 to 92 and we all love it! Wonderful spots both indoors and out to read, play water and lawn games, chat, eat and gather. The setting is so peaceful, the beautiful patio, large deck, sitting room with bar and plenty of spots to sit and play card/board games, and do puzzles. We all love the beach, playing what we call "lakeball", swimming across the lake, taking a morning kayak or canoe ride with the loons. I can not say how relaxing and enjoyable Otter Creek has been every year!

Excellent get away!!!
Otter Creek Lodge met all of our expectations. We were greeted with soft music playing in the background, a warm, gas fireplace glowing in the front room, lights were on in our very comfortable bed rooms to rest our heads!!!
We took our employees there for a get away together for 2 nights. It was amazing. We all had tons of fun and enjoyed everything the Lodge had to offer. We had plenty of room for 13 adults, with each bedroom we used having its own private bathroom. The views on each side of the building was breathtaking. The sunsets and sunrises were, oh my...breathtaking!!
We made our own meals and the kitchen area is very accommodating and lots of space to prepare and cook the meals. We were all able to sit and eat together at the long table, very nice. We gathered together each evening for games & fun in front of the fireplace which was extremely mesmorizing!!!
