It took me some time to recover from this stay, which is why I waited to review. Our team of 15 people booked this space for a company retreat. The troubles started right at the beginning. Shortly before our planned stay, we were notified that the space was free the day before our booking and if we wanted to come early we would get a discount. We were not able to do this, but upon arrival we were greeted by a maintenance person who stated he had to make some repairs to the space, while we were there. Why not take care of this prior to our stay, since the space was free? The repairs were extensive. He had to fix two hot tubs, the boiler and a bed that was completely torn down to the floor. He was there for hours, to which we finally asked him to leave and we would not use the broken bed. The rest of the house was just as disheveled. There was not one ice machine in the many refrigerators. The stand alone ice machine was also broken. The maintenance man had to come back again to deliver two more ice machines. Two of the 3 dishwashers did not work. There was no wood for the fireplace. We were told to purchase our own. The kitchen lacked any type of cooking gear fit for a crowd larger than 4. This place slept 26 people, but we didnt have a pan that fit more than 4 pieces of meat. The double oven stopped working mid cooking on the second night.
All in all, this house needs major updates. I cannot see how it has received any positive reviews.

House was good for a family reunion of ages 4-79. Lots of beds and bathrooms. We enjoyed beautiful views and close proximity to Fraser, Granby, Snow Mountain Y Resort, Winter Park. Rural area provides quiet outside of busy resort areas. House is a bit rustic and quirky, but we enjoyed TVs in every room, pool table/shuffleboard, volleyball net, and massage chair! Kitchen could use some updating-as a bit awkward when preparing meals for our big bunch.

Only thing I really have to say is if you are planning on visiting during the winter season make sure you have a good car for snow.

What an amazing place for a family gathering to celebrate our elopement! It had EVERYTHING we needed. The huge outdoor table, fire pit, cozy place with beds for every body.

We were a multi generational family gathering. It was nice to all be together. Parents with napping children could play volleyball while children napped. Kitchen was big to accommodate all of us. It wasn’t fancy at all, but it accommodated all of us.

Great place for a family reunion
We have a large group and this house was awesome. It easily accommodated all of the different families. Each room had its own bathroom which is lovely. The children had plenty of room to play.

Beautiful scenery
The views are stunning. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms. Though there were some things in need of repair, the manager saw to it right away upon my request.

Amazing place for any large group!
We had a group of friends come out for a ski trip to winter park. With 17 of us we thought we might have to find a couple smaller places, but then we found this one. This place was amazing, we got everyone in to their own bed and still had a few bedrooms and plenty of beds to spare. It's only about 10 minutes to get to winter park, and less to get into town. The kitchen was a huuuuge perk as well, able to pull together massive group meals very quickly with so many stove tops and counter space. Hosts were responsive and friendly, and the whole checkin and checkout process was simple. Goes without saying, but the property itself is awesome with a beautiful view of the mountains. I highly recommend booking if you have a larger group looking for a place you can all be together.

Great location and Views
House was plenty big for 24 of us with room to spare. Kitchen was great for cooking group meals. The views from this house were amazing and only a 20 min drive or so to Winter Park ski area. Would stay here again.

Family ski trip
Roomy and spacious in a beautiful area, but the property itself needs some TLC. The outdoor hot tub did not work, the shuffle board table was sticky and unusable, and a few things need fixed. The walk way was not cleaned off and very icy. There was not a contact person listed and after several days we are still waiting for our damage deposit.

Staycation getaway
Casa Vista was the perfect staycation for my group. We loved the kitchen & grill! It was spacious and very well stocked which allowed us no limits to cook for every meal during our stay. All the amenities were wonderful. The massage chair was a favorite, the sauna and jacuzzi were relaxing, but hands down what made our stay was every night we’d end at the billiards table and singing karaoke. This was our first group staycation and definitely won’t be our last. Thanks to our set environment, it enhanced our experience.

Great amount of space
We had 23 people stay, and the amount of space was really nice. Location was great, close to everything. A couple of the amenities didn't work (1 hot tub and sauna). Kitchen area was good for a large group. Overall we would consider renting again :)

Place was beautiful! Needed to be cleaned but nothing super major. We went a few days after the snow storm in March but it seemed like the snow was removed. We were a big group and there was enough space for everyone adults and Can't wait till we stay during the warmer days!

Tabernash
Our entire family of ten adults and seven children, all under seven years of age, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Vista. There was plenty of room to be together as well as find quiet time. Having family bedrooms with private baths was crucial. The outdoor banquet table on the porch was used extensively for family dinners. It would be negligent to say that there weren't issues with cleanliness and safety. The play structure was not leveled, so a tad "rocky". Water pressure and hot/cold settings were challenging. The laundry room was beyond adequate, but not clean. Dishwashers were disappointing, with one having standing water all the time. Really clean dishes required a lot of work. There were safety issues on the property including wood pallets on the fire-pit that had many sharp nails sticking through the wood. If someone would have fallen on them, it would have been really bad. We turned them over to be more safe. None of the door locks worked adequately. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning; but, only if these issues are addressed and rectified to ensure safety. Communication with the owners was excellent, and we found them to be very pleasant and cooperative.

Fantastic location for large group
You can’t beat the flexibility of the large home with multiple kitchens and perfect amenities. What was lacking is the communication with the host and the ability for the hot us to stay above 104.

ski weekend
Overall the experience was good.
There were a few minor issues.
The inside hot tub was unuseable for the first two days because too much chlorine had been added and it burned your eyes just taking the cover off.
No firewood is available for the inside fireplace or the outside fire pit. Had to order a delivery from a local service. Left the remainder for the next visitor. Would think firewood would be provided at these daily rental prices.
Had issues with several of the TVs so wound up just leaving them off.
Couldn't find a snow shovel on the property so had to buy one to clear the back deck and a path to the fire pit and pit area. Also left that for future customers.
Listing mentions ski equipment available, but was told that wasn't true.
Other then those issues, the property was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. It just wasn't the turn-key all-inclusive experience we were expecting, but we worked around it.

Old house, but nice outdoors
The ranch and outdoor area of this property are beautiful, however we couldn't use it because it was fully covered in heavy snow. The home itself was quite outdated and a bit dirty. The thermostat didn't really work at all, and both hot tubs didn't heat up that well. The showers had warm water on occasion, and the shower heads weren't the best. I'd definitely recommend this listing for outdoor events in the summer (beautiful land and views), but I wouldn't stay overnight at the house again.

We really enjoyed the stay. This home has a great location and had everything we need for our stay.

Great mountain house.
The images of the property through home away along with the bedroom layout were confusing compared to the physical room numbering and expectations of how the rooms are spaced.

Great Stay!
We totally enjoyed our time at Casa Vista. We were there for a destination wedding at Snow Mountain Ranch and had a great stay. We had room to spread out and not be in each others way. The cooks in the family loved the kitchen! A few enjoyed the hot tub. It was a great setup and a beautiful setting. We would highly recommend to anyone with a large party!

Beautiful home and a beautiful location
The property was perfect for bringing my family to the mountains however we did notice that the sauna was not functioning as well as one of the hot-tubs. That being said the house was perfect for our weekend away and was still an accommodating home experience. I would recommend staying here to any friend looking for a great place in Fraser.

Nice fireplace with wood. Lots of activities.
Easygoing with views of a large ranch and Winterpark ski resort. We enjoyed the kegerator which was a nice surprise. Each room had its own thermostat and all the bathrooms had floor heating.

Perfect place for our wedding!
We LOVED Casa Vista and Brittany, Woody, Archer and AB! My (now husband) had a vision of getting married in a beautiful yet relaxed mountain environment, where we could invite friends and family to join us for more than just a one night ceremony/reception. We were thrilled when we found Casa Vista, and our actual wedding weekend was better than we could've ever imagined. I could write pages about it, but will refrain and break down our highlights:
The house: We (and our guests) loved the comfort of our rooms, the number of rooms, number of bathrooms, kitchen and living spaces. Even though we had between 18 and 27 people staying there for 4 nights, everyone felt that they could retreat to their rooms for quiet time, and there were plenty of places to lounge. The huge kitchen was ideal for multiple families making meals together. The hot tub and sauna were a perfect addition, we had a very relaxing day after the wedding :)
The property: the views are just gorgeous, wild flowers stunning, green lawn is awesome for playing games on and field area behind the house was a great spot for friends who were camping.
Venue: Having the tent and ceremony areas already set up was super helpful. Brittany and Woody have great taste, we loved the lights, tiki torches and hand made tables and benches. The layout of the bar area, covered shade area, tent, game area, ceremony area and fire ring were perfect. We honestly wouldn't have had to decorate at all, but I'm a Creative Director so had to put my own spin on things of course! And this was the perfect canvas to do so.
Hosts: Brittany and Woody were incredibly accommodating, and are just all around great people. They were there to help when we needed, and were very responsive leading up to the wedding. They seemed to genuinely care about us having an amazing event. They've put so much hard work and love into this property and it shows!
Added bonus: We have been receiving endless praise from our guests/friends/family about how fantastic the wedding was, and the first thing everyone has said is that the location was just awesome. People loved the option to camp, and raved about the property and views. It was so great for our entire families to be able to stay in a house steps from the ceremony/reception, and to not have to rush set up and tear down. Our goal was to have fun and not stress too much, and we were able to do just that! Our family's already talking about planning a reunion there next.
Thanks guys!!
