We had a wonderful stay at Devons house. The house was very clean and the backyard with seating and bbq was very nice. The location was fantastic with quiet neighborhood and short walk to main street and beach. check in and out very easy. I highly recommend this property to others. Thanks devon for hosting us. This clean, charming and well-maintained property is just as described and within easy walking distance from the beach. The front porch was a favorite spot among all our group, where we could sit and enjoy the ocean air and read or just watch the passersby. We encountered a small issue on arrival and our very responsive host immediately stepped in to resolve. I hope to be able to stay here again.

We had a fab time in Santa Monica. We are a family of 4 and this property was great. Very close to the beach. Very clean, spacious and a lovely place to be in. Everything as described. Fully equipped. Devon was super responsive and helpful. 👍

We had a great time in this Santa Monica house. We used it as our home base while visiting Los Angeles. It is a beautiful historic home in a great location only four blocks to the beach. We spent two delightful days at Santa Monica beach with all the provided beach toys, chairs, umbrella, etc… The house was close enough to walk to a whole bunch of restaurants and the famous Santa Monica pier. The backyard was a nice refuge after a day of sight seeing in Hollywood. Our girls loved sharing the trundle bed in one of the bedrooms. The queen bed had a comfortable mattress and the blackout blinds in all the bedrooms was greatly appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked to make all the meals that you want to make. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we return to the area.

My husband and our two teenagers stayed in this lovely home for four nights during a short Spring Break getaway. The rooms and outdoor space of the home are exactly as the pictures show. Extremely clean, very comfortable, and had everything we could possible need (and more). The home is in the perfect location to walk to nearby shops, restaurants, and the beach. We communicated with the owner, Devon, via text and phone, and she was very professional and kind to work with. Highly recommend this property to a couple or family with a couple of kids as it truly felt like returning to "home" after each day of exploring the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

After reading all the positive reviews we decided to stay here and we were so happy we did. The place is amazing and has pretty much everything you’ll need for a wonderful stay! I loved getting up in the morning and watching the palm trees sway in the wind while I enjoyed my coffee on the sunny front porch, and the backyard is such an awesome retreat. I really enjoyed the fairy lights and having a glass of wine in the evening. The rental is a short 5 minute walk to Main Street which has shops and restaurants The beach is only a 10 minute walk. There is a really nice public basketball court just down by the beach which was a plus for us! I could go on and on! The owner was so nice and so helpful! I wish we had booked a longer stay!

This house is simply amazing. The photographs, although excellent, don't fully do it justice; when people walking by on the street compliment you on how pretty “your” house is then you know that you are somewhere very special. The house is as perfect inside as it is out; everything is extremely high quality and spotlessly clean, with lots of nice touches to make your stay really special. The multiple gardens are beautiful. In a quiet and safe location that is only 5 min walk from the main shopping street and less than 10 min walk from the beach. The house is in an ideal spot to make the most of what Santa Monica has to offer. There is easy freeway access and attractions around LA were an easy drive. We thoroughly recommend it—you will not be disappointed.

The house was gorgeous. Fully stocked kitchen for utensils. Thoughtful extras like beach towels and beach toys for the kids. The only downside was the third bedroom, that wasn’t a bedroom as such, it was a convertible sofa. We really needed a proper third bedroom. Other than that the property was amazing!!! Highly recommend.

I spent a lot of time looking at nearby Vrbo's before and after I booked this place. And I can assure you that when you factor in price, location, amenities, and quality, this is the best accommodation you will find in Santa Monica - and that includes hotels! You can't beat the easy walks to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife - you really don't need a car, but if you have one, the driveway makes parking very easy. We were all very comfy in our rooms, and the backyard made for a fun and relaxing time at night. The kitchen has everything you need. All instructions were reasonable and easy to follow. You will LOVE staying here.

Great house in a great location. House was very clean, no issues at all. Good communication with Devon who is helpful but not intrusive. House very well equipped and the driveway is a bonus for parking. Gas bbq very good. A very short walk to Main Street but also easy to drive out and explore. Would definitely stay again.

Our family had a very enjoyable stay here. It was a 5-minute walk to the beach, minutes' drive to restaurants and grocery stores. The house was beautiful, very clean, with clear instructions on what was available and expected of guests. We ate at the house for almost every meal and the kitchen was perfect with modern appliances and almost everything we needed. There were a few more cleaning requirements for checkout than I'm used to, but understandable being so close to the beach. Thank you for opening this historic home to us to complete our Santa Monica experience to the fullest!

We enjoyed the entire upstairs, front porch and large back yard of a beautiful home on Third street. We were very close to beach and Main Street with good restaurants and shops, yet were in a neighborhood where we enjoyed watching everyone walk their dogs each morning while having coffee on the porch. Made use of the property’s beach chairs for hanging out at the park close by or going to beach. Master bath was large and airy. 2nd bedroom has a single bed with trundle, so was a little small for adults but we made it work. Having 1.5 baths was helpful too. Front yard with picket fence has gorgeous flowers. We plan to stay here again.

Such a beautiful, well-stocked and comfy home, in a great location
I loved our stay at the 1906 House and don't even know where to start my gushing about it. The house itself is just beautiful, perfectly comfy and very well-stocked. I cooked several times and found everything I needed to do so. The gardens are GORGEOUS; sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee every morning, watching hummingbirds zip around, was one of my favorite things about the trip. My three young kids and I walked all over Santa Monica and nearby Venice – we probably didn't even need our rental car, though it was very convenient with the off-street driveway parking. Devon was a great host, very communicative and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when visiting LA in the future!

Devon did a great job with communication and offered assistance with things to do, etc. Beautiful kitchen, well stocked with pots/pans, even storage like home to cook with and use.
We opened the windows for a beautiful ocean breeze. We were close enough to the beach/pier/things to do that we weren’t bored. It truly is a nice, quiet street though! Which is great when you have a tired toddler that needs to be able to sleep. We absolutely loved our stay and would stay again in a heart beat!
It truly felt like we were staying in someone’s home (not in a creepy way hahaha) rather than “just a rental”. Loved it overall!

The location is about a 15 minute walk to the beach and maybe a 25 minute walk to the pier, and absolutely perfect location. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous, and perfect for relaxing in the evening or for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning.
On top of all that, Devon was an amazing host. The communication was great and made everything super easy.
Overall we would not hesitate to stay here again next time we’re in the area.
