We really enjoyed our stay at this West Pointe Beach Club property. It was really cold the first day of our vacation, so it was nice to have such a comfortable place for our family to hang out inside and play games and relax. The pool and hot tub being located right next door is a major plus, though it would be really nice if they would heat the pool as it is freezing cold. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms with nice decor. We only wish more than one extra roll of toilet paper and two extra bath towels had been provided for a family of 5 staying 4 nights. Other than that, no complaints at all. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great condo with center gulf view.

This was a really nice unit and we really enjoyed our time there. There were a few things that stood out as simply cleaning and make-ready issues. When we arrived we opened the trash drawer to find that some coffee has been left to rot. As a result, fruit flys had infested the trash storage area. When we open it the flys went everywhere. Foe the remainder of the trip we were constantly seating or catching fruit flys. Not fun! We also noticed a few smaller things that indicated a lack of effective cleaning. We felt sand all over the floor as well as a ballon left in a harder to reach place. Not sure how well the unit was really cleaned. Another small detail but a pet peeve. Some of the light bulbs didn’t work and others were carrying color temperatures. It was a detail that made the unit seem just un attended to. And finally we were told that the elevator wasn’t working. What we didn’t know is that the hallway connecting the two sides of the building would be closed off. This meant that we had to walk all trash downstairs and couldn’t utilize the trash shoot. That wasn’t t that bad but when we tried to park in the designated parking spot we were asked to move out into the uncovered parking by the elevator installers. They rudely asked why the owners didn’t tell us because, as he put it, they should have.This would have been good to know ahead of time. We appreciated the discount given due to the elevator we just didn’t know to what degree it would affect the experience. thanks

This is our 3rd year at this rental and we still LOVE it. Owner is wonderful to work with and the place is amazing. Exactly what we want in a weekend end of Summer vacation. Access to the Beach and the Pool make this the perfect place to stay!

Our condo was beautifully decorated and clean. The hosts were great, friendly and very easy to work with. This condo is next door to the infinity pool, beach club, and bar as well as quick beach access, which was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay very much. Kim K

This is a very charming, spotlessly clean condo that is located in an attractive beach resort. Cheryl was very helpful and responds quickly to messages. We recommend West End Marina and Restaurants, 9 minutes away, as well as Waterman's Restaurant, 16 minutes away, for beautiful waterside dining. We enjoyed our 5 day stay tremendously! My family and I stayed in this beautiful condo on our first vacation to Galveston and it was perfect! Right next door to the beach club and a short walk to the beach. Plus…we didn’t have to cross the road to get to the beach like other properties closer to downtown Galveston. The condo was clean, well supplied and even included gear for the beach. We look forward to more visits in the future.

Cheryl and her husband have a very nice condo. We have booked it a couple of times and already thinking about booking again for October time frame.

This is the first time we have ever been to Galveston and to this unit. We chose this unit because it was actually on the beach and we didn't have to cross multiple lanes of traffic to get to the beach like we would have had to do if we stayed closer to actual downtown Galveston. We like relaxing vacations and do not need to be doing something every minute of every day. The unit was neat and tidy and charming. The kitchen had all the utensils, pots and pans we needed to make our meals. There was even a supply of foil, baggies and stuff like that if needed and salt & pepper. Even though we brought our own beach towels there was a basket full for us to use which came in handy having extras. The balcony was huge and was great for me to be able to do my morning yoga on even though the weather was not the warmest. Because of the direction the building was situated we were able to gain a wind block almost every day. There was an issue with one of the chairs that I reached out to the owner about and she hadn't known anything about it and was grateful I mentioned it to her. Only downfall of the balcony is that it could really use a really good sweeping and cleaning. There was piles of sand/dirt around the door mats leading into each door off the balcony. We scoped out both pool areas at the complex and preferred and loved the Beach Club one that was right next to the building our unit was in. It is where we spent most of our time. The pool itself was quite cold so we did not go in it and the hot tub was alway completely packed because the weather was not the warmest and the pool was cold, so we did not go in it. It was great having the locker below that had a wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and nets. We used the sand chairs and nets. The chairs could use a good power washing but we just draped our towels over them. Being so close to the walkway over to the beach was so convenient! It made it really easy for us to go walking on the beach after dark looking for crabs and washed up jellies. We had an issue with the renters above us keeping us up till all hours of the night even after going up and asking them to quiet down. I reached out to the owner and she helped by getting the complex security involved and having them talk with them about the 10pm quiet time policy. Overall it was the relaxing vaca we needed!

Great decor, the best view, and friendly host. Will definitely make this out Pointe West spot.

Great location. Easy walk to beach and pool. Great sunrise on the ocean. Nicely appointed. You could show up with your clothes and have a great beach weekend. They had some beach toys and stuff to use in a locker and the kitchen was well equipped. Great weekend! Will stay again.

We love this property! This is our second year renting this place and will be back for round three next year! The condo is perfect and the owner so easy to deal with! LOVE it!

We loved our stay at West Pointe - the condo was great, very clean, cute decor, stocked kitchen, and the owners were wonderful! Cheryl was very response and answered all of our questions. We loved all of the amenities - pools, restaurant, and the very short walk to the beach. Plus having access to the owners beach stuff (in good condition) was an added bonus which not a lot of places offer. We would definitely stay here again!

Awesome experience, right next to pool and beach access. Tons of stuff to use at beach (canopy, sand toys, wagon, boogie boards…etc. Spotless property, awesome communication, totally recommend.

We loved our stay, nice furnishings, well equipped. Pointe West is the perfect place for my wife and I (older adults). There were also many families around but space for all. One rainy day we set on the balcony and watched the weather. Spent another day at the pool and ate at the Pointe Restaurant. We will be back.

Condo was great! Condo is located right next to the Beach Club and one of the piers out to the beach which was very convenient. Everything was nice and clean and hassle free.

Condo was nice. The beach was disgusting. My daughter came within 3 ft of stepping on a snake on the beach. At least 20 min drive to activities. On-site amenities are nice and restaurant and employees were great. Decided to try TX out for vacation. When going to the beaches we’ll stick with FL and AL gulf coast.

Communication was spot on. Had talked to Cheryl in person a couple of times and all was as stated online. Easy access to all areas we enjoyed. Perfect family sitting. We will be back and if we see this same condo, we will try to book it. Thank you all.

We’ve stayed several times at the Pointe West condos. This however was our first time renting this unit. It didn’t disappoint at all. Better than the pictures posted. Amazing views! Property was immaculate. Communication with agent/owner was flawless. If there was a rating above 5 starts this place would get it! Enjoy!!

We stayed at this property in October. It’s very comfortable, fully stocked and had everything we needed for a beach vacation. We initially had trouble with the lock in the storage area. I messaged the owner and she immediately messaged me back and called to make sure I was able to get in. We appreciated having beach chairs, a cart and toys at the property so we didn’t have to haul that in our truck. The location of this unit was perfect! Great view of the ocean, close walk down to the beach, and close to the pool and restaurant. We loved that the condo is far enough from the main Galveston and Seawall crowds but close enough to drive there to eat and walk around the strand. The coffee shop in Jamaica Beach is close to the unit and has a great local feel. We were very pleased with our stay.
