This beautifully restored home was exactly what we were looking for in our Breckenridge stay. It is in pristine condition and the location couldn't be any better. Very easy walking distance to all the great restaurants, shops, etc. - 1 block off of Main Street without all the traffic of Main Street. Nice grocery/liquor store/deli right across the street. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies and even had portable crib and high chair for my 1 year old grandchild. Highly recommend!

Mike is super easy to get ahold of and VERY responsive, and it’s apparent that him and his wife put a ton of thought and effort to make the home as accommodating as possible.
Although historic, the restoration job on the home makes it feel like a new build and the location can simply not be beat.
Looking forward to next summer to renting again!

Beautiful home in a perfect location. A lot of thought went into the restoration of the historical home to make it functional and comfortable. The owners go out of their way to make sure everything you need for your stay is available in the home. 1 block to Main Street, grocery market across the street, too many activities to do in one week - we will be back next year!

Top 2 properties we have ever stayed at and we stay at a couple per year for the last 20 years. Super clean, beautiful house and pretty much the best location in Breckenridge. Great layout that makes the house feel much, much bigger than it is. Right across the street from a market and one street away from Main Street. Views of the mountains from the front porch and only a 1 minute or less walk to downtown. Really can’t beat anything about this house. And Mike the host is just as great as the house itself. I almost hate to post this review so nobody else finds it.

My family stayed over spring break and the house was actually better than the pictures. House was very well stocked with anything you might need and great kitchen and anything you would need to make a nice meal. Great location just 1 block off main st. And right across from nice little market and liquor store very handy! Highly recommend.

This year we stumbled on this historic house and we were blown away by not only the location but the thoughtfulness. They had a gate for the stairs to keep our little guy safe and pretty much anything else we needed for our trip.
This will be our preferred place moving forward!

Property was as listed. Beautiful house with all amenities and space for 3 couples. Really enjoyed sitting on the front porch having coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. Grocery and liquor store directly across the street and numerous restaurants within walking distance. Hiking trails within walking distance as well.

Beautifully restored and wonderfully appointed modern home in downtown Breckenridge. Shops and restaurants can be reached via a 5-minute walk, yet the house offers a private and secluded feel. Truly no need for a vehicle. The host/owner is incredibly accommodating and gracious. I recommend staying at the Historic Breck home without reservation.

I’ve stayed in, own, and manage a number of rental properties and this place is one of the best cared for, well stocked rentals I’ve experienced. They took care of the little details when upgrading the home and it makes a difference. High quality finishes vs the cheap stuff you often find. Location is fantastic. Also had a chance to meet the owner who was very nice and while we didn’t need anything he certainly made himself available. Highly recommend this great property.

We had a wonderful time in Breckenridge!! The home was perfect! We had two adults, a 19 year old, and a 15 year old. It was plenty of room for us to spread out and a nice space to gather. Location could not have been better! Walking distance to restaurants and plenty of shopping. Home is cozy, well decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked. Our host Mike was very accommodating and went out of his way for us. Not to mention he is very friendly and we really enjoyed visiting with him! Thank you Mike! We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful historic home in an excellent location in Breckenridge. It was perfect for two families of 4 with children. Plenty of space for kids, bathroom space.
Walkable to just about anywhere in Breck. Close enough to Peak 9 lift to walk even with young kids in ski boots.
Covered parking was also great. We were able to leave vehicles parked for most of our stay as most things in Breck are within walking distance.
The host is obviously interested in making sure guests have a great stay at Historic House.
Will definitely consider staying again in the future.

This home is beautifully renovated and well appointed. The owner thought of every detail and was very responsive to questions. Soft towels and linens, TP and coffee stocked.
The market is across the street and we easily walked to restaurants and shops.

The house was fantastic and the location was even better. Check in was super easy as the owners were extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to get into the home and addressed any items throughout the trip.
The kitchen was fully furnished so we were able to cook a few times while in town and did not need anything to make it happen. Washer and dryer were on site as well so we were able to run a few loads during our stay. We had 4 adults and 3 kids - had plenty of room and the downstairs media room was great for the kids to enjoy.
The location of the house is fantastic - a great grocery store across the street, one block from shopping, restaurants, and a shuttle to the mountain. You can also easily walk to peak 9 if needed.
We will plan on returning next year and highly recommend this rental.

The location is perfect—just a block off of Main Street Breckinridge. Easy to walk to restaurants and shopping. We had a multi-generational party, so it was perfect for grandma and grandpa to stay on the main floor, while mom and dad had the basement main bedroom and college kids had the basement bunk room. 3 bathrooms and 2 living areas was a big bonus!! The house is beautifully decorated, very clean and up-to-date. The description of the property is correct—two vehicles in the carport getting in and out would be tricky. We had one large SUV and it still required maneuvering to get out with the turn in the driveway. The owner takes care of all the cleaning—what a relief not to have to strip beds, start laundry, etc, etc, like you have to at some properties. Overall, we had a great experience and highly recommend!! So relaxing and enjoyable!!

Loved staying at this great property! We had our first real family vacation with a just turned 1 year old and almost 3 year old and the grandparents. Location was AWESOME and the home itself is well equipped, clean, quiet, and cozy. Loved being across from the grocery store and one block off Main Street.

Small suggestion: Guide on how to use the TV upstairs and maybe a few more channels would be helpful. (Grandpa struggled a bit)
Baby gate was so so helpful to have as the stairs to the basement are not toddler friendly, however it was damaged and did not latch well. There was a Velcro strap to help it stay closed which worked for our trip!

Practically Perfect in Every Way
Mike's home was absolutely perfect! From the details (heated floors!) to the location (directly across from the cute little grocery store and 2 blocks from Peak 9), there is absolutely nothing that could have been done better! The towels were fluffy, the kitchen well-stocked, the beds comfortable, and the area spacious. This place has spoiled me for other VRBO listings - I can't imagine finding a place more perfect than this! I guarantee that we will never stay anywhere else in Breckenridge!

This cute historic house was perfect! The location is unbelievable! You have a market in front of you, and then just one block from Main Street. The renovations that Mike and Jenny did are gorgeous! My favorite part, the heated floors. The owners were also so sweet and accommodating! Me and my family had a blast, and look forward to coming back next year! Grandma's Gathering
wonderfully appointed and convenient for all summer sctivities. We had three houses between family members and we loved our central spot near shopping, dining and activities. Its a wonderful house. No complaints whatsoever. Beautiful home. Lovely owners. The only thought is that the parking in carport is tricky in backing out! Great grocery directly across street!!! super space in basement for adult single kids.

Perfect for a family
We have a 2.5 year old who sleeps in a crib, a 5 year old and an 8 year old. This house is stellar for a family of 5 trip to Breck! It’s so nice to have a kitchen and be directly across from the supermarket! Need milk? Run across the street! You’re one street over from Main Street where all the action is. 1.5 blocks from Starbucks. Location couldn’t be better. There’s a front porch where you can hang when the kids go to bed. We will be back! Mike is a fabulous host as well!

A lovely home
This historical cottage is charming with everything you could want to make you feel at home. It's inviting and comfortable. Our favorite place was hanging out on the front pouch, watching people with their cute dogs. The location is perfect for walking into town. Oh, on different early mornings a moose and a fox walked through our neighborhood - that was so cool!!

Breckenridge Modern Gem
This property is a delight! We traveled from Michigan to one of our favorite winter spots for a little hiking and biking. This Victorian historical home is ideally situated for walking to main street dining and shopping. On arrival, it appears quaint with a nice front porch and inviting chairs to relax. The WOW factor on entering a modern, spacious kitchen/dining/and living area was had by the entire group. High ceilings, new appliances and fixtures and comfortable furniture throughout. Bedrooms are spacious and tastefully decorated and bathrooms were clean and sparkling. Could not have been more pleased as we are owners of a private resort with pretty high standards. If your dates are open, BOOK..... the actual property exceeds your slideshow impressions which are pretty amazing already. We look forward to our chance to return. Host Mike was responsive to any questions we had and no instructions are needed in the fully stocked home with complimentary amenities provided for your arrival. An added perk - great grocery store across the street, so the car stayed parked our entire stay!

Fantastic Property in a great location!
The property was everything and more that we hoped it would be after looking at the listing. The owners did an amazing job with the remodeling and have turned it into a true oasis within walking distance of everything Breckenridge has to offer. The kitchen is huge and well stocked, the bedrooms are large with comfortable beds, and the living rooms are beautifully done and comfortable with large screen smart tvs. We loved it so much that we have already booked our next stay!

Don't let this quaint little historic miners house outside appearence deceive you on it's size. The fully renovated and updated house is surprisingly open and spacious in the interior living areas accompanied with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is very well done, clean and well laid out. Great job on the renovation Mike!Location is central to all activities in downtown Breckenridge. We parked our car upon arrival and did not use it once until we departed. Groceries and beer across the street is very convenient. Main Street shopping, bars and restaurants, walking path and many activities within blocks. Peak 9 lifts are walkable (15 min) but we chose the Blue Bus (stop is 1 block away) to take us to Beaver Run lift. Perfect for our spring ski trip.Great place. Hope to return.
