Our family really enjoyed their stay at this home while in town for a wedding, and it felt great to have space for everyone! The cousins shared the double bed rooms and parents got the main rooms. Two bathrooms, one being on-suite, was a bit of a challenge when it came time to get ready for bed, get ready in the morning and get ready for a wedding (also, one low quality hair dryer for the entire home and nearly empty soap bottles when we arrived) but having a well stocked kitchen and dining table for everyone was more important to us overall. The weather was pretty nice while we were in town, low to mid 70s with low humidity so the air units kept up and we were comfortable. We enjoyed the view of the harbor too, yes there are buildings in the way but it’s still lovely, and the location is so convenient, we walked everywhere! The whole family complained about the front door, it’s really difficult to open and actually bent at the bottom from all the pushing and dragging over the floor, no one could understand why it wouldn’t have been repaired at some point, I’d read lots of reviews so was prepared for it, but it was kind of mind boggling.

Convenient to Camden Harbor and accommodate 11.
Property needs attention. Front door very difficult to open as it scrapes on floor (must have been like this for long time). Screens blown out on both front doors. Not a good first impression. We had to stuff towels around MBR window AC. House paint peeling off. Garage is a total mess. Pet urine smell on LR carpet. Guests in lower apartment complained about damp stuffy smell and cough / congestion. Frustrating view of large building behind home. Small deck with only two chairs. Left side of grill difficult to lite. Should show building obstruction in pictures (not a deal breaker but would provide honest description). Windows in LR very difficult to crank open (we were afraid to open as the crank might break).
This could be a great property if owners/manager would take pride in up keep.
We would come back if improvements and obvious repairs made. Hope owners/managers can bring this property to condition it deserves. Art

My adult children and grandchildren loved staying here. Our first trip to Maine. No harbor view but a short walk to town. Ana was great at responding to air condiyioner issues.

We booked this over a year ago before our wedding and the host was very quick at responding and answering our questions. The groomsmen and their dates and my family loved it! This is a great location for it all, one thing to be aware, we had it in June and it was perfect weather to have windows open. There is no AC but only AC units in some rooms if needed. Beds were comfy and plenty of space! Our wedding party had plenty of space and rooms to choose from even the detach apartment had its own kitchen! Get this house for a wedding or even a long stay with family. Walking distance to a lot of spots in the area!
Even our wedding photographers loved all the available light coming in and we hade great photos inside and on the dock with a perfect backdrop. oMG it was a beautiful day! Thank you so much!

The house was a perfect for our group. The large, well stocked, kitchen let us eat in sometimes. View was very nice and we enjoyed the easy walk into town and a restaurant being so close. As described, there is no bathroom upstairs, which was fine as we were all family. The bathrooms downstairs were nice and big!
The house has old world charm and the host family was great!! Would def. stay here again.

We travelled with our 15 year old and 18 year old son as well as their grandparents and we had a wonderful stay. The home is clean, bright, very comfortable and lovely. The kitchen is very well appointed for all types of cooking. We cooked more than expected because the kitchen was so nice. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms very nice. Ana was very welcoming and easy to reach on any questions. Just a street away are restaurants along the waterfront, and we were in walking distance to the town center. I loved the little reading nook upstairs and the surprise cove views from different windows ( in addition to the star view of the harbor).

Location in Camden was ideal for a big group, easily could walk to downtown and plenty of parking. Water view from some of the bedrooms, however the view from the living room is unfortunately blocked by a restaurant and distillery. Was very nice to be close to those. However, there was some cleanliness issues with obviously stained sheets, a bathroom sink that easily clogged up, and several dead flies and other bugs. Now bugs happen in the fall, but the sheets not being clean was worrisome. The listing was also not clear as it’s advertised as sleeping 15 but then in the details of the listing it says actually it’s only 9 people and you’d have to book another property (the apartment) to be 15. Ended up being fine for us, but was confusing. Worked for what we needed, good location, but didn’t live up to expectations.

This house was awesome for our family to gather for my daughter's wedding. The wedding party got ready in the beautiful living room and there was plenty of room. Walkable to town and the wedding venue made this spot ideal. Seamless check in and check out.

I rented this home for family to stay in during a wedding weekend in Camden and to host a small bridal luncheon. The house was amazing. The hosts were amazing. The house was spacious and accommodated our group of 8 with plenty of space for all. The kitchen was great and well appointed for lots of cooking which we did. The hosts responded very quickly to any questions or issues we had. It was extremely clean and most of all comfortable and felt like home for the 4 days we were there. The hosts were also very accommodating when on our departure day one of ours cars would not start and they were very understanding and helpful with the situation. Great location for all the fun things in Camden. We will definitely rent this home again!

First Camden is a lovely town, and the house is conveniently located, which allowed us to walk into town. We rented the main living area as well as the apartment. I want to say that Ana was responsive to our requests about the Direct TV service and propane for the BBQ. Some things could not be remedied during our stay without disrupting our time at the house.
The weather during our stay was, rainy, hot, and humid. These conditions require air conditioning. The listing clearly states that the property was airconditioned. Unfortunately, the units supplied worked but were not adequate to cool the house. The wall mounted unit in the kitchen was supposed to cool the kitchen and the entire open concept living spaces. Three bedrooms had free standing units, vented to the outside and were not effective to cool the individual rooms. Air conditioning in the Master suite consisted of a floor box fan, nothing else. With the space not temperature controlled the entry door scraped the wood floor and was difficult to open.
The apartment had one free standing air conditioner unit for the entire apartment. The unit was not vented to the outside and pumped the exhaust heat back into the room. The apartment smelled of mildew.
This is an older home with some updates. Truthfully it looks neglected, worn, and needs a good deep cleaning with attention to many details. The property has a lot of potential. We made the best of the time we spent in Camden. The value for our money,

Camden is so pretty .. this house is walking distance to town and you can take a nice walk around area. Very safe. Beds were very comfy and kitchen has everything you need. Big table in kitchen and beautiful windows.

Great location, easy to walk into town. Great space to spend time with family. Some beds were old and caved in, was not comfortable. Some sheets were not washed prior to our arrival and the carpet on the stairs was not vacuumed. Overall, the stay was good.

Wonderful Place!
Our family stayed here over Memorial Day weekend. The location is great. You can walk to the harbor, and the view from the deck is outstanding. The house came with everything we needed. The large lobster pot was perfect for our lobster dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

Convenient location, lots of quirks
We rented the upstairs only, not the downstairs apartment, which I believe is represented as a “cottage” on the listing. The listing is somewhat misleading- not inaccurate but by combining the two units amenities- read it carefully. Upstairs where we stayed is 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms- one of which is accessed from the master. The upstairs has two bedrooms with no bathrooms- a real inconvenience. The house was dirty when we arrived- sticky counters, dirty windows- dirty kitchen wares. The garage was filled with junk so we could not park there and overall parking was inadequate. The harbor view advertised was of a warehouse and the back of a falling down house. The climate control was preset and although it was something we could change, it would revert to non-use settings and we’d wake up to 55 degrees. The owners were nice enough snd I guess for the price it was what we should have expected (I really don’t know) but I would not recommend this property.

It was awesome
Everything was just as shown. It was a beautiful place to stay. There were 10 of us women that Have known each other for at least 40 years we all had a fabulous vacation.We also had plenty of space we only rented the house part but there was more than enough room for us. And the host was great although we did not need her very much it was very easy to arrive and depart. The walk downtown was amazing and extremely beautiful and we were so close to other little towns around. I would totally rebook this property if I ever end up back in Camden and I think everybody else in the party would agree.

Filthy
The front steps were falling apart, the garage was literally piled with garbage, it looked like a dump, the walls and stairs were covered in black marks and filth, the kitchen counters were covered in sticky mess, the stove had grease splatter, the windows were so filthy you could barely see through them, the freezer was covered in food remnants, crumbs etc, the living room rug was filthy, the couches had balled up old dirty blankets on them and it looked as though someone had just woken up from sleeping on them and rolled off. The picture window looked out onto an old construction building and a huge parking lot, the neighborhood was fine until you reached the end of the road which is where this house is which was completely run down surrounded by other run down houses. We stayed for 5 minutes and left to drive 21/2 hours back home.

Christmas at Harbor Breeze

Good location but some wear and tear
The house had plenty of space for 8 people and the location was great. It's within walking distance of downtown Camden. It didn't quite live up to the pictures though. There was a lot more wear and tear than we thought there would be. My mom hurt her ankle when she sat on a chair that clearly had already been broken and it collapsed. Also, the beds were very soft and not very comfortable. There was kind of a musty smell in some rooms also.

Great Place!
We had a group of 10 women staying for 5 days. We all loved the house and location. There was plenty of room for us. We had a dinner with 11 people and we didn't feel crowded. The hosts were very easy to work with. I'd stay there again and would recommend.

50th Anniversary Trip
Our group of 10 (seven adults and three children) loved our stay at Harbor Breeze to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. The location of the house is superb, right in the middle of charming Camden with views to the harbor and surrounding mountains. We walked to bookstores, coffee shops and restaurants, while also enjoying the house for a lobster boil one evening and a Fourth of July cookout (with great views of the fireworks in the harbor). Ana was also very communicative throughout the rental process and super helpful with a few questions after we arrived. We are already looking forward to the return!

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Town
We had never been to Maine before our visit to Camden and it did not disappoint. The house was awesome. The pictures don’t do it justice, in my opinion. There are steps to go into the house so be aware if that’s a problem for you. But once inside, the view was magnificent and the house was clean and well appointed. We booked the apartment too and that was just as nice and right next door. We loved the downtown shopping and took a sunset cruise on the Schooner Olad which I also recommend. They have a downtown store to book your cruise and they offer cruises all day from morning until sunset. I highly recommend this property and this town. Ana was great to work with also! Property was ideal for my family. We were at Camden for a family wedding. Enough room for everyone. Bathrooms were fabulous. Kitchen and great room was a great gathering place. Great family location. Everything was within walking distance.

Another Fun Vacation in Camden!
I have stayed at Harbor Breeze before and knew what a lovely place it is. My friends had never been to Maine and they were very impressed. The house is large enough to accomodate a large group without feeling crowded. We love that it is within walking distance to town too - very convenient if you don't want to drive.
The only negative is that there is not a bathroom upstairs, but there is always the apartment if someone absolutely has to have another bathroom. I know I would come back and my friends say they would like to come back again too. We arrived right at the peak foliage time so we were thrilled with our trip!

Harbor Breeze - Perfect Wedding Accommodations!
We could not have experienced a more perfect stay for our wedding weekend! We rented out both Harbor Breeze and the Cottage for our bridal party. The house being extremely convenient to town, walking distance, made for a very enjoyable and stress-free few days leading up to the wedding.
The wedding day was most memorable as we were able to enjoy the openness of the home, while getting our hair and makeup done. The views of Camden Harbor while spending time with your best friends is truly breathtaking! Plus, the photographs are certainly one for the books.
Ana & Page were incredibly accommodating leading up and during our stay. I could not have found a better location to spend such an important moment in life. Extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to stay at Harbor Breeze! We will certainly be back soon!!
