First time to Marathon. The condo was very clean and had lots of amenities. Very cute decor throughout. Only disappointment was the washer and dryer were not in the unit. Was a separate coin operated washer dryer area.

A very nice place on the beach. Just an hour away from Key West. Many excellent restaurants in the area.

Good launching spot for a relaxing week. Activities we were interested in doing were close by. The sun even stayed out for us on our last day so we could enjoy the pool.

The condo had very dated furniture, and the stove was not clean

Our stay was great. The pool was warm and never crowded. Most of the time I was the only there. Met some friendly people. It was fun to be at a property that was right on the ocean. The condo was well equipped and clean. We have already booked for 2 weeks next January!

We loved the location of this condo and overall we enjoyed our time. When we first arrived at the condo, I noticed the floor wasn’t that clean and also the coffee pot still had coffee in it. There was mold growing on the coffee and inside the basket of grounds in the coffee maker. I also think the furniture is very very worn so maybe some basic updates are needed. We probably would not stay in this particular unit again.

It was overall a good stay. We hopefully will be back.

Overall this condo was perfect for our needs. The beach was a huge disappointment but the pool was great, especially after a hot day having fun. We would go there again.

Smell of chum kept in freezer and one set of keys not working. Call manager and a young lady who only spoke Spanish arrived. Attempted to “clean” odor out of house and did not believe the key did not work until she gave up trying after 5 minutes. Kitchen oven and supplies needed replaced.

The location, pool and private beach were great. Primary bedroom mattress was very comfortable. The condo itself could use some updating and minor fixes. It was also not very clean at all (crumbs, sand, hair, etc. found everywhere). Every other vacation rental we’ve stayed in has been well appointed and had everything we’ve needed during our stay, but this one didn’t. There weren’t nearly enough towels or wash cloths and NO beach towels. For a condo on the beach, I would expect beach towels to be provided. BEWARE: there is no in-unit washer and dryer. This was a huge disappointment to us, so I think the listing needs to be clear about this. For a busy vacation packed with activities, we didn’t have time to sit around and watch/change over our laundry in the community laundry room… which by the way is $5 per load. We all ran out of clean clothes and towels midway through the week. Overall, location was great, condo was not… but could easily be improved.

This condo is located well, and was a nice place to spend the week. The condo is comfortable and clean. The unit doesn't have a ocean view, but is a very short walk to the pool and beach. Everyone we met in the complex was very friendly. There were previous complaints about the TVs not working, but we were able to get them working after a little trouble shooting. All in all, a very enjoyable vacation.

What an easy breezy place to stay! The access to the water for kayaking was great! The pool was a great size for playing & swimming laps! Great balcony for enjoying the cooler evenings! Super spacious rooms for the 4 of us to spend the week! The local restaurants near by were delicious & the service was fantastic: Herbies, Fish Tales, Keys Steak & Lobster, Marathon Bagel Co., Brutus Seafood, Cracked Conch Cafe. & many more! Definitely enjoy your time @ Coco Plum & @ the Aquarium Encounters!

A nice, quiet spot to explore the Keys from. Especially for those who would rather be more self-sufficient and avoid the congestion, noise etc... that can come with staying at a hotel or motel. The pool was very nice and there is clean sand for kids when the seaweed is a deterrent on the beach. Only two recommendations: 1. Have umbrellas put in around the pool. The ones that come with the room do not do the trick very well. 2. Make sure the floor is well mopped before new guests check in. While it is possible it was due to our own use, bare feet became pretty dirty from walking on the floor not long after checking in.

First time in Marathon. . loved it. . will go back. Great for those of us who are "older" .. nice quiet area . .pool was fantastic . .. loved the people. The Manager Kevin. . . is the BEST!!

Very enjoyable experience very well stocked kitchen utensils plates dishes really enjoyed the balcony in the evenings and the pool and the beach were a 10 plus

The condo is on the north side of Marathon so plan on a car to get to all the dinner spots that are 6ish miles south. Condo is on the beach but this specific unit does not face the beach. Beach is a little rocky and water shoes would be ideal. Condo was fine - nothing special but it did the job. You spend most of your time at the beach and at the pool so to me, as long as the beds are soft (they are!) then who cares.

We loved the location and the property. We felt safe and secure. Thank you!

Should of provided a map of the complex. Couldn’t find the laundry. The steps were a bit too much for some of my family

We were very pleased with our stay here! Marathon is a great place to stay. We loved the condo, there are stairs but wasn’t an issue for us, we used the laundry facilities and had no issues with that. The mattresses and sofa bed could use some updating, we slept ok in the bedrooms but I don’t think the pullout would work well for two people. My 25 year old son did fine on it though. The kitchen is well stocked and linens are well supplied. Parking was never an issue. We did have an ac issue when we first arrived and then a few days in when the batteries went out in the thermostat. We called the number provided and they sent someone out within 30 minutes the first time and we just picked up some batteries the second time. No other problems at all. This condo is a great value for the price and we would definitely stay here again!

I called the manager and the correct key was delivered quickly. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, plates, glasses, etc. Better than many places we’ve rented. This unit is at the opposite end of the complex from the pool area and water views. And like others have mentioned, the couch should have been replaced a few/many years ago. The location is about a mile or two off the overseas highway and about 5 miles from the main area in Marathon for restaurants. So it took a few extra minutes to get anywhere, but not a big deal. Property was nice but this unit had some issues. Previous renters noted master shower control was broken and still is. Ceiling fans were very dirty. Blender and hall bath hair dryer did not work. Kitchen counter lights did not work. Kitchen was bright enough without them but would have helped brighten living/dining area. Pool bathroom floors didn’t appear to be swept the entire 10 days we were there. Second bedroom mattress caused occupants to roll into the sagging middle part of the bed.

Great location and awesome beach.

Property is on the beach, which is adequate for walking, but not long walks. Property is well maintained. Parking can be tight. Unit was satisfactory. Well stocked with bedding, towels, and kitchen items. No coffee filters, but we left ours. Floors could be cleaned. Drains in bath sinks could be cleaned. Main TV had one channel; notified manager who asked the unit number but did not fix the TV. Others in the bedrooms worked fine. Internet service is spotty. Would consider returning. Good, quiet location.
