Staying here with Colleen was a fantastic experience! The property is gorgeous, and has seemingly endless character and unique touches. The location is insanely convenient - just a 10-15 minute walk from transit, restaurants, and the river park. Colleen is a phenomenal host - very attentive, very prepared, and a fantastic person overall. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay at the property.

Beautiful house, stunning, antique, furniture, and a very safe neighborhood. But the best part about the staying here were the people we met and the stories we heard. Colleen and the other people on the property were so welcoming and kind. One of my favorite parts of our visit to Napa was spending time with them drinking wine on the patio and making new friends!

We really enjoyed this beautifully restored 19th century victorian home, located just a few blocks from downtown Napa and a quick walk to Oxbow Market and the Napa Train. The hostess was kind, helpful, and fun to get to know. Highly recommend as an affordable and convenient option!

One of the best decisions we made for our trip was choosing to stay at Goddess Cove. Our stay exceeded all expectations, which were already high based off all the personality shown in the listing. Colleen was very accommodating; she had great communication with booking and check-in and immediately made us feel welcome when we arrived. She also gave us some great recommendations for both wine and food. The house is beautiful inside and out, full of fun details that truly make this place one of a kind. The highlight of our stay however was getting to sit down with both Colleen and Mr. Graeser to taste their homemade wine and listen to the fascinating life stories they had to share. These people and this house made our already amazing trip an unforgettable one. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Colleen was kind and accomodating from initial booking through check out. The stay was quiet and quaint yet a short walk to downtown Napa and surrounding attractions. Thanks for hosting our mother daughter trip!

Colleen is an amazing host! She is a warm, gentle, and caring person and that showed in her concern about our comfort during the stay. She also provided great recommendations of places to go for a great glass of wine. You should definitely stay at Goddess Cove. We did not want to leave and certainly will be back.

Colleen was a wonderful host. We so enjoyed our time here, and will absolutely be back in the future! The location is very close to everything. Staying in this unique and eclectic home was every bit of fun we had hoped it would be. Colleen and Mr. Graeser had terrific stories, and were generous enough to share their experiences and wine with us on the patio in the evenings.

This VRBO is perfectly located near downtown Napa, the wine train, Oxbow Market, the farmers market, and more! The host was very responsive, kind, and had lots of great suggestions and tips for the area. It truly felt like staying with a friend. Listing is accurate and the price is something you’re not going to get anywhere else in Napa. Also the house is gorgeous and so unique, it’s like staying in a museum. 10/10 will come back and stay here on our next trip to Napa!

Coleen is a terrific host, super kind well connected with the community. Quaint, rustic property in a great location close to downtown. Property is as described

We greatly enjoyed our time in Napa and the stay at this affordable property. Please note that breakfast is not included in this stay but wine is. The description is accurate. Colleen and other people staying on the property are super nice. Please know that there is no air conditioning and that the heat is limited to small space heaters. This is typical of most Napa homes as the weather does not vary greatly. When we get back to Napa we will be happy to stay again.

We stayed at Goddess Cove December 2022. We wanted to experience staying at a unique property instead of a national chain hotel. Goddess Cove with Richard and Colleen exceeded all expectations!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had the most fun hanging out with our hosts! We toured vineyards during the day and drank Richard’s wine with them at night. An unforgettable stay and we highly recommended Goddess Cove and it’s phenomenal hosts Richard and Colleen!

A girlfriend and I needed a little respite from the holiday madness, and stayed at this gorgeous, meticulously cared for Victorian home with the VRBO host of the year. Colleen truly embraces her host role sharing a glass of her wine with guests as part of her welcome ritual, and generously offering insight to where to eat and drink. Her Cab Franc is worth the splurge! Colleen has poured her heart into restoring this historic home and it really comes through in every detail. A quirky, colorful, inspiring and cozy stay that we will be sure to visit again, even if it's just to share a drink with her and continue our lovely conversation. Thank you for hosting us at Goddess Cove!

This is a very unique property walking distance to Napa centre. We had a fantastic couple of days, Colleen and Richard are wonderful people, you feel more like you are staying with friends rather than hosts. Thank you so much, we’ll be back!

The house is a show-stopping Victorian smack downtown Napa, my husband and I were greeted warmly by Colleen and her partner with a glass of their very own vintage :). Our friends were staying at pricey hotels nearby and we could just as easily walk to all bars and restaurants! The interior is a work of art - a handmade labor of love in honor of the goddess Aphrodite. Everywhere you look had something interesting, thoughtful and beautiful to reward you. A stunning interior! We are grateful to Colleen for creating this unique home base for guests to access Napa vineyards and culture

The property was just what we needed for a date weekend in Napa. Walking distance to downtown, clean, and comfortable! The property is a very unique stay and a passion project for Colleen! Sharing a glass of their fantastic wine was a wonderful surprise as well. We will be back!

This Victorian home has quite a lot of eclectic flair for sure. Colleen was gracious and very attentive and even opened a nice bottle of her wine for us to enjoy in her patio. We had a lot planned during our 4 night stay so we didn't spend too much time at the home. It was perfect for our needs.

My wife and I took a quick weekend stay to Napa. We were looking for someplace cozy, affordable and conveniently located and the Goddess Cove checked all the boxes. Colleen is super welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. The house itself is a site to see! It's also a quick walk to downtown dining and tasting rooms. We'll definitely be back!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at Goddess Cove. It was within walking distance to downtown. Colleen was very informative on local places to visit and wineries to try off the beaten path. Her quiet neighborhood home is eclectic and a great price close to everything.

The location and pricing of this property was fantastic. Even more superb were the hosts. We will return if given the opportunity.

My wife and I really enjoyed our short stay at the Goddess Cove! The location was excellent, and we walked to the market and downtown for breakfast both mornings and dinner as well. Colleen was an excellent host, and the evening on the patio for a relaxed conversation with her and Mr. Graeser was a highlight of our trip. The affordable accommodations were made even more reasonable by their sharing a couple bottles of wine with us. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique place with a host who can guide you on what to do while in town!

Charming escape
It was perfect from the moment we booked, Colleen was an amazing host. Welcoming us, providing a tour of the property, and taking some time out to chat with us about the wine and life. I would recommend this place for folks wanting something different.

A truly beautiful and unforgettable stay with the most lovely hosts who have a deep connection and breadth of knowledge about everything Napa and surrounding areas. And their wine is excellent!

Colleen was a very gracious and thoughtful host opening her lovely home to me. She was very respectful of my privacy and very enjoyable to spend some time with when I was at the house.

Great experience
Colleen was a great host and we loved talking to her and Mr Graeser the night we arrived. They were super helpful with suggestions for places to visit and Colleen even got us into the Winery down the street without reservations. The place is exactly how it is described in the listing (the shower situation is a bit quirky, but no big deal). Fantastic location - incredibly walkable to just about everything in town. Great price and location for a visit to Napa.

Excellent stay with Excellent Hosts!
My wife and I planned a trip to Napa and wanted to stay close to town. The price point on this place was excellent so we booked it. Colleen was immediately attentive after the booking and let us know her check in procedure which we appreciated. Upon arrival, Colleen gave us a tour of her beautiful home with tons of awesome art decorations and eclectic time pieces from the past. It was extremely interesting and neat. Our room Was private and well kept and the bed was comfortable, helping us sleep very well after our consumption of wine. On Saturday, we spent some time getting to know our hosts, and we shared some wine with them. Colleen and her partner Mr. Graser make their own wine and they love to share it with their guests. We had a blast drinking wine with them. All in all this was a great place to stay, walking distance from dt Napa and we plan on coming to stay with them again In The future. Highlights recommend if you are looking for an intimate, eclectic stay in Napa!

Lacking shower, small bed and critters
We realized from the listing this was an older home but thought it would at least have a comfortable bed and bathroom with a shower. It stated hand held but there was no shower curtain so you have to sit in the tub to use the hand held otherwise water goes all over the floor. No space in the bathroom for personal items and bedroom is very small. Mattress on the bed was old and we both slipped towards the middle. Velour sheets were not comfortable either. Worst thing was the critter scratching above the ceiling throughout the night keeping us up. We left after the first night. The owner was very polite and outgoing. Mentioned they had a pet squirrel which may have been the problem. Nice location, just know that the amenities are lacking

A genuine and wonderful experience
We came for a wedding that was walking distance from this location. Colleen and Mr. Graeser were wonderful hosts. Not only were they warm and welcoming, but they provided helpful insight on the area and its history, and where to go. They made us feel like we’ve been there before. Colleen provided us coffee every morning, and went out of her way every day to make sure we were warm and comfortable during the unusually chilly weather. The interior of the home is just as unique as the outside, full of stories and life. It’s an unforgettable home that has clearly had an unmeasurable amount of love and dedication put into it. It’s a shame we don’t live closer, as Colleen and Mr. Graeser are the type of friends every one needs in their life.

Friends For Life
When you stay at Goddess Cove, you're not staying at a BnB, not at a hotel, not at a guest house. You're staying in someone's home and their passion project. Colleen has put her heart and soul into this home for the last 20 years. My wife and I got along great with Colleen and Richard and will never forget them. In fact we hope to remain friends for years to come.
If you're looking for a place with all the amenities and traditional "hotel" experience, this isn't for you. If you want a great location, amazing history, and unforgettable hosts, you can't go wrong at Goddess Cove.

Unforgettable stay
It's an interesting older home but it's the people who set this place apart. Colleen is a wonderful host and makes you feel very welcome - and very generous sharing a glass of their wine and some conversation as well.

Cute, eclectic and convenient!
My fiancé and I loved our stay at The Goddess Cove! Colleen and Mr. Graeser were wonderful hosts (their wine was amazing and they had excellent restaurant recommendations). Colleen gave us a tour of the house when we checked in and made us feel so welcomed! We had the entire first floor to ourselves and had plenty of privacy. The property was right down the street from our favorite winery/brewery and walking distance from the Oxbow Market and downtown. We will most likely stay here again during our next trip to Napa!

Great place to stay in Napa! Highly recommend.
Colleen was an incredible host-- she was very communicative and hospitable. The house itself is stunning and fascinating, and filled with amazing decor and furniture. We only stayed one night (a very brief stay because we were running the Napa marathon), but we wished we had gotten to stay longer because being there felt like such an amazing respite/getaway from our lives in the City. We definitely want to come back and have a full relaxing, weekend getaway! The house has so much history and character, and the host went above and beyond to make our experience so special and warm. the location was also perfect for us-- we didn't really want to stay at one of the big hotels where all the other runners were staying, and this house was basically a block away them. We're so glad we did something more unique, and we could still easily walk to a huge number of bars and restaurants. Parking was also a breeze. Everything was clean, and the host made sure we had everything we needed-- extra heaters if it unexpectedly got cold, etc. We even had our own private bathroom. Make sure to try some wine while you're there!

Nice folks
A very brief stay but an interesting house....under repair for 15 years...a little chilly...and maybe a little too much money for a small room with a bath you have to walk to, but quiet ...and nice people

Great and unique property in Downtown Napa
In early February this year I had an amazing stay in Napa at Goddess Cove. The house is very eclectic and welcoming. I loved the comfortable bed and soaking in the tub with beautiful German art deco fixtures. The location was superb, and walking the get freshly baked bread at the local Model Bakery and coffee at Ritual Roasters was super convenient. The house is owned and run by Colleen Moore and Richard Grasier. They are both extremely hospitable and authentic Californians. If you want to invite their conversation, you will be amazed at their knowledge of the history of Napa Valley, Monterey, and California at large. They literally have the inside scoop on Napa Valley. The house is filled with Moore's lifetime collection of antiques, figurines, and collectibles. Beautiful stained glass windows throughout add to the ambiance. The house is a true labor of love and you can feel it. They also have many vintages of Grasier's wine stowed away from their "garage wine" made on premise from some of the best fruit sourced from their longtime Napa grower relationships. They are more than happy to share a toast with you! If you are looking for a stay off the beaten path, unique, and authentic, then you should definitely stay at Goddess Cove. You will not be disappointed. There is a magical quality about the home, that you are sure to be charmed by. I will definitely be staying there on my next return to Napa. 5 stars!!

Wonderful Stay
I will definitely choose Goddess Cove when I visit Napa next time. The best thing is hospitality of the house owner Colleen. The house is old (from 19th Century!) but very well maintained and has warm atmosphere. We also enjoyed sharing wines with Colleen and Mr.Graeser, the wine maker. The location is great, walking distance to the city center and wine train, etc. though it was quiet enough even in the new year's eve night :-)

Do Not Stay Here!!!!
Property has fallen into disrepair and photos are not accurate. Scaffolding surrounds house. Yard not kept up. Furnishings showing wear and appear dirty. Central heat has been removed. Temperature in house hovered just below 50 degrees. Heat for bedroom furnished by small space heater that appeared to be inadequate and an electric blanket. To get to bathroom you have to traverse thru unheated dining room past kitchen. Picture doing that late at night or first thing in morning. Another space heater provided inadequate heat for bathroom. I did not see a GFCI outlet, clearly a code violation and dangerous given the likelihood of water on floor. Fireplace in living room was hard for the owner to fire up (gas). There was exposed wiring and the blower never did start. In any event we were warned not to leave it on. There were floorboards missing in transition between living room and dining room, clearly a trip hazard.
This place is clearly one to stay away from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
