Took Grandkids and was perfect

We had 6 adults, a toddler, a 7 yr old and 10 yr old. We had everything we needed plus extra. Bonus! The deer coming up to the back door. Great location too! Only downfall….no TV on the main floor. Excellent accommodations.

Loved our stay in the cabin. It was well maintained, stocked with everything we needed, and plenty of space. We loved hiking around the property and surrounding trails, exploring the town, skiing/tubing, and loved the bbq and brewery spots in town. Great home base for everything we wanted to do!

Beautiful log home! Much nicer than expected. Perfect for multiple families. The children’s play area was a great bonus. Hot tub, outside grill, and inside fireplace all worked great. Plenty of hot water for multiple showers. We were fortunate to have a lot of snow while we were there and could walk right out into the forest to find a great hill to sled down. We enjoyed our stay very much and we will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Wonderful stay over Christmas with family.(6 adults, 2 kids) Plenty of space for everyone. Very well maintained and clean. Enjoyed short hikes in the snow, the hot tub, fireplace,(plenty of wood provided ) toys for kiddos, snow tubing, skiing and shopping in town. But most of all just hanging out with the family in the lovely, cozy space and watching the deer visit daily in the back yard.

Such a wonderful place! Fully stocked with everything yoy need. Located next to a cute Hallmark town. Quick drive to Alamogordo. This was such a perfect place for our Thanksgiving holiday family time. I highly recommend staying here!

If you have kids the loft area is perfect for them.with toys and bunk beds. The Hot Tub was a nice relaxing option available, in great condistion. They had everything we needed and then some. We all enjoyed the house and location. The brewery is in walking disctance, theres a trail practically property adjacent. I would have liked to of stayed longer and gotten some real hiking in. Great spot beautiful home with a very unique story. My husband loved learning about and discovering the jacks. It was great!!

This cabin is close to everything we needed. Walking distance to town, restraunts, running and hiking trails. Our vehicles didn't move all weekend! The hot tub was a nice treat! The open area behind the house was fantastic. Our kids played for hours out there. A few things to be aware of... the house was not well stocked. We had to go get hand soap, laundry detergent, clorox wipes and trash bags... we didn't mind but we also didn't know to bring some of those things (we VRBO alot... most of that is provided). I don't know if it was a busy weekend or the norm but the Family Dollar (the only thing besides an Allsup's... there is NO grocery store!) was very picked over and had lots of empty shelves. Also for a house this size more towels should be available. Really a great house but just a few things to have a heads up about!

Beautiful spacious place! plenty of room

The futon in the loft was not suitable for adults with a very sagging mattress. The tub shower is inconvenient for adults and the other shower is small and cramped. The hot-tub was not clean; however, management took care of it right away and was very responsive. Deer came up to the rear of the cabin daily, fire place worked great, sheets were very soft, we had hoped for a more secluded area as opposed close neighbors.

We went with 3 other couples for a 4 day weekend. We arrived late Friday night but still enjoyed the hottub and the herd of deer that came to visit. The deer returned morning and night and we actually bought a bag of deer corn to keep them from staring us down. We enjoyed eating at the brewery and at Mad Jack's. The wait was totally worth it!! Our least favorite part was the electricity going out in the entire village for the last 22 hours of our stay. The winds were gusting up to 80mph and a tree took out the lines. The temperature was down to 18 degrees but we built a fire and had an adventure. Would just request some flashlights and lanterns because it was VERY dark. Thank goodness the stove and hot water heater were gas powered....we were able to cook some breakfast and wash dishes.

Very clean, spacious, and beautiful views! The deer walk through the back yard which is basically a forest. Great location, close to all the shops and restaurants. We had a great time!

Overall a wonderful stay. The best family experience. We would go again! Hard to regulate temp in bedrooms. Home was extremly well equipped. Deer came every day outside back door. 25 was the highest. Fireplace was great. Small town was perfect. Hard to drive up hills to cabin with snow.

Cabin was very clean there was plenty of amenities for us to use. The view was beautiful and lots of wildlife. The wifi was not working but staff was more then willing to help us with our problem. Please heed advisory on 4x4 or chains during snowy weather lift on there website or you will have a nice walk!!! Other than that it was a perfect place to spend my family vacation.

Great clean place had fun in the snow

Myself and some of our family were not able to make this trip but our son, dtr in law and 3 of our grandchildren LOVED the home. It was well stocked from everything to the pantry, linens and firewood. They enjoyed the town and the family of deer that came up to the house. Definitely going to request to stay here again, PERFECT for families with kids. Lots of toys and games wete furnished!

The television downstairs didn’t work.. The toilet was repaired immediately after we called. We had two days of snow and we enjoyed snowshoeing out our back door. It might be good to remind future renters that Cloudcroft is a village, so bring groceries.

The cabin was nice, but the heating system for those sleeping on the second and third levels were extremely hot. Those on the first floor were cold. The bathroom on the second floor we had issues flushing the toilet due lack of pressure. Lastly, the family wanted to watch movies but there was no smart tv therefore no access to streaming services.

The cabin was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. We had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the hot tub. We had a lovely time.

We had a great stay-the cabin was beautiful and the views from front and back were awesome! Property manager was very responsive. I highly recommend this cabin!

We love NM and have been all over the state but never to Cloudcroft. Staying at this cabin was the best introduction to the town we could have gotten. It was super spacious and clean. The hot tub and foosball table gave our teenagers just enough to do during our downtime. The forest was closed due to fire danger, but there is a sliver of the Osha trail that snakes just beyond the yard, so we explored that. We were walking distance to town and walked everywhere (though, be sure you can handle walking up hills — that climb is no joke coming back to the cabin). We really enjoyed our stay. If our travels ever bring us back to the area, we will for sure book here again!!

Gorgeous Lodge very spacious, One of the best locations I've ever stayed. The lodge has everything you need and the view was spectacular.

Spacious cabin, great for families including young children. Cloudcroft had really cold nights but heating for the cabin worked great and we all stayed warm during the night. Would recommend 👌

Had a great stay at the cabin! Host allowed us to get in a little early and the place was fantastic. Lived up to all the details and frankly exceeded the pictures expectations! The Forrest out back had tons of wildlife and the family loved it. Very close to downtown area too. Thanks for the great weekend!

This home it's probably the best in thrre neighborhood. Had everything we needed and more. Even got to feed some deer in the backyard. Deer came back after the first feeding. The home is situated on a beautiful piece of land eith a hot tub in the back for relaxation. Plenty of things for the kids to play with and keep busy. I can't say enough about this property. If you are on the fence just do it, you won't regret it! Thanks for great stay!

The place was nice but the hot tube was broke. And the coffee pot did not work. It’s a nice cabin but not represented right on line.

The stay at the cabin was great! The cabin is beautiful and kept up very nicely. We got snow so my grandchildren had a wonderful time playing in the snow. The outside looked like a winter wonderland. Beautiful! The only problem I had was the bathrooms. I am 69 years old and I take care of my brother that is 57 years old with DS. Although our bedroom was on the main floor, there was no way either of us would be able to get in the claw foot bathtub to shower! We showered downstairs in the tiny shower. Going downstairs was a chore! The shower is so small that when he would bend down to scrub his feet he would hit the water handle with his behind and push it to cold. Not pleasant!! All this to say, that this beautiful cabin is not for anyone that has a hard time with stairs or has any disability. Other than this daily inconvenience, the stay was great and the cabin is beautiful!! I always got a quick response to all of my emails too.
