Great house and location.

This was one of the most affordable 4 bedrooms within walking distance to the beach from LA to San Diego, but expectations should be set accordingly. The house is very cluttered, to the point where it desperately needs to be emptied out and scrubbed from top to bottom. It is also in slight disrepair, with only one burner working on the stove, a rickety stairway gate that falls off, a broken ceiling fan, a shower head that fell apart mid-shower, easily clogging toilets, etc. The only usable outdoor space is through the master bedroom, which is awkward and was impractical for our family. We found it hard to make use of the downstairs living room with the kitchen and other living room upstairs, so it went mostly unused. On the positive side, it is a 7 or so minute walk to the beach across the PCH, and a short drive to the Newport/Balboa peninsula and other OC towns like yHuntington and Laguna. And again, it is less expensive than other comparably located properties.

We had the most amazing vacation once again at the Jungle House. Plenty of room for everyone, location is close enough to walk to the sand but, far enough to enjoy quite nights. We always have some great memories from our Jungle House stay and we hope to keep coming back the following year to do it all over again. Ed

Steve was fantastic! Our family (6 adults, 3 children, all under the age of 7) thoroughly enjoyed our time at Newport Beach! This is a great house for a large family! So close to the beach and anything else that you might need so nearby! We can’t wait to go back!

Had a great time with family! Everything was perfect

Our large family came down to Newport for our daughter’s wedding. We loved the rental property because it was so close to the beach and beautiful sightseeing. Even though we were busy with wedding prep, it felt like a vacation because we were able to access the beach just a block away! The house has lots of spaces for smaller groups to gather so it never felt cramped even though we had a big family there. The kids loved the enclosed patio and hammock at the back. Large fully equipped kitchen. House has plenty of books and games and even some surf boards and wet suits that our son in law had fun using! Hope to come back again soon! Thanks to Steve for being most accommodating!

the access to the beach is superb here.....easy walk to get there. spacious house to fit many family members nice to have garage space so not to worry about street parking, although we could see that many times there was adequate street parking

We were very impressed with the home as well as the set up of the house. We would recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a clean roomy home close to the beach. We are looking forward to staying here next year as well.
