Auf der weltberühmten St. Lawrence Gap, dieser luxuriöse Komplex befindet sich in zentraler Lage in The Gap, die ein lokales Gefühl hat. Von der Wohnung aus sind es nur wenige Gehminuten zu vielen Geschäften, großartigen Restaurants und einem reichhaltigen Nachtleben mit Live-Unterhaltung. Ein Minimarkt befindet sich günstig neben dem Komplex und eine Bank ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entlang des Gap. Dover Beach ist weniger als 100 Meter entfernt. Während Dover Beach nur eine Viertelmeile lang ist, bietet er Wellen, die groß genug sind, um zu surfen, sowie Wasser, das ruhig genug ist, damit sich der unerfahrene Schwimmer verhandeln kann. Stühle und Sonnenschirme können gegen eine geringe Gebühr gemietet werden (fragen Sie nach Kenny). Darüber hinaus können Sie Wassersport betreiben - Tauchen, Schnorcheln, Segeln, Surfen, Windsurfen, Paragliding und Jetski. The location of this condo is great. two blocks from Dover beach and restaurants all around. The owner contacted us before we stayed making everything easy when we got there. The condo was spacious and a cleaning staff came in halfway through our stay which was a nice perk.

Everything went so smoothly from the booking, pre trip communication with the owner, Rob check-in and checkout.
Rob's condo was clean, spacious and within a short walk to beautiful Dover beach and a number of restaurants.
We would definitely consider staying here again.

The option the have the third bedroom closed off was perfect for us as two travellers. The apartment was spacious, clean and in an excellent location. Would highly recommend!

Robert communicated effectively. The place was spacious for 5 of us. My family had a comfortable stay. My family member that stayed in the middle room wished that the curtains were black out as the morning sun kept her awake especially with the reflection of the pool next door. The music from the bar next door was rather disturbing at times to the point you couldn’t hear yourself talk. They do not seem to have consideration for the residents. The music was nice but way too loud. As for the condo itself I would recommend a toaster as the toaster over takes a very long time to make toast. The coffee maker was handy and takes cone type filters. The twin beds were a little too firm and the head boards were rather loose and noisy. The lighting in the dining room can do with an upgrade as it was lacking light over the table. Fans with lights would be ideal. The management team were awesome and extremely attentive to all concerns /issues we had and acted promptly and professional. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Roberts place. Easy access to the beaches and the corner store.

This VRBO property is 100% accurate about the property. It had everything we needed, was clean, and was convenient to a store and restaurants. The beaches were close by and the management / cleaning staff were very nice and wonderful. The problem is the neighborhood. The property really needs to be honest about what to expect, especially Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. The other reviews mention Jazz music. That was not our experience. Starting at sun-down on these three days the bar across the street puts large speakers outside and turns them ALL the way up. The bass shakes the walls and rattles the pictures. It is impossible to even speak to someone in the closed living room when you are seated on the same couch. If you have a headache, this noise will make you want to run screaming out of the building. Locals would tell us that the people who live here in the other unites (whom we never saw) have been trying for months to get the authorities to do something about the noise pollution but have been unable to make an impact. We left several days early and rented a more expensive property in a different location just to survive the last few days of our trip. Since the property description didn’t mention the issues with the location we wanted to provide a review that actually reflected the problem. Summary…great place with a great location. If you plan on being somewhere else from dark until 1:30am on Thursday - Saturday, this is the place for you. If not I promise you will want to leave just as soon as night falls.

Our stay at the Terraces was lovely!
The 3 bedroom accommodations were very comfortable for our party of 3. Rooms were spacious and filled with sunlight. The water pressure in the showers was strong with plenty of hot water available. Beds and pillows were great, air conditioning worked like a charm, same for the dishwasher, stove, and washer/dryer.
The large patio was great for lounging, having breakfast or entertaining a crowd, we did all three!
A very funny maid even came halfway through our 1 week stay and made sure we had everything we needed and cleaned the bathrooms, mopped the floors and changed out our sheets.
The location itself was wildly convenient. A market with reasonably priced groceries, drinks and snacks was right across the street and there was a lovely coffee and cake shop just a block away which I visited every morning. For dinner when we stayed in, we got takeout from Irie and Daddy's, both just a couple blocks further down the road but there were plenty of dining options at our disposal.
The portion of the beach nearby is sandwiched between two hotels and is very clean, as there's a man who rakes up seaweed on the beach every day and the water is fairly calm. If you want chairs and an umbrella to lounge in however, you'd have to go further down the beach towards the restaurant stalls, or even better, take a short cab ride to Carlisle Bay, or Oistins to see some other parts of the island.
For getting around, there were plenty of cards with taxi numbers in the room, and no one ever had trouble finding us! For those who rented cars, there was a gated garage right around back.
When guests came to say good bye our last night there, everyone raved about how beautiful the apartment was and wanted to know if it was available for rent to locals who wanted to do a staycation or host an event.
I would not trade our stay at the Terraces for a hotel room and I'd recommend The Terraces to anyone wanting a place to stay together comfortably with their family and friends.

This beautiful, secure unit is spacious, fully equipped. Great location. Owner and management team are very responsive and friendly. I have stayed here 3 times and will continue to stay here when ever I visit Barbados. I highly recommend this unit.

We were so happy we rented this apartment-so conveniently placed for the beach-Dover,St Lawrence Gap entertainment,across the road from a convenience store,taxis just round the corner , the local bus route 5 mins walk away & some great eating places within easy walking distances. The apartment met all our needs. The description of all amenities were accurate,beds were comfortable & the place was very clean.
Rob the owner was very prompt in answering all our emails & all questions thrown at him. The staff from the management company that looked after the apartment were also very efficient (shout out to Katherine who met us on our arrival at the apartment & answered any outstanding questions especially about the island & Gregg who was also very helpful in sorting out the AC) I must also mention Oretta who came to the apartment every three days to clean & replace linen & towels-she did a wonderful job.
We enjoyed Barbados-where you can be as lively or as relaxed as you wish. Most nights after some activity or not during the day - we would relax on the balcony-drink in hand waiting for the entertainment from the Jazz bar Scoopies across the road. Some nights we would even join in & do some dancing!! All entertainment finished at midnight. The noise might not appeal to everyone but we loved it-after all it is Barbados. Just a note though if you didn't want the noise we found just be shutting all the doors you heard very little.
I would highly recommend this safe & modern property in a great location.

Steps away from the beach, restaurants, casinos and grocery store and minutes from the airport. If you need a taxi they are just around the corner. Keep in mind there are two bars directly across the street, but we loved sitting on the balcony and listening to the Jazz music coming from the bars and people watching! We stayed here to celebrate my daughter's 6yr old bday. The place is exactly as described, everything went smoothly from the initial contact thru this site all the way to departure. The beach is nearby, taxis are right outside the condo and is not expensive to get to anywhere on the island. We stopped at a grocery store before heading home after our first day out exploring, we supplemented with supplies from the mini mart next door and i brought some food items and basic necessities from home. The beach is walking distance and we walked there easily with my 6yr old and 1 yr old (in a stroller) daily. The condo is clean, well furnished and had plenty of space for my family of 5 adults and our 2 kids. The place is comfortable with a/c in every room (we had family members that stayed somewhere else not realizing that a/c is not central and is not standard in every room of a rental). Robert is prompt in answering all my questions and the management company was efficient in checking us in and out. Everyone had such a great time. Thank you very much for sharing your home with us and we look forward to going back there again!

My friends and I stayed in this condo for our annual Crop Over trip which lasts 8 days. The property was beautiful and in the most convenient location. The owner was very helpful and always available via email to answer any quesions we had prior to our arrival. The pictures don't do the place any justice. There were no problems with anything within the unit during our stay and the cleaning lady was very nice. I have nothing bad to say about unit 202. We plan to book this unit for next year as well! My husband, brother, myself, and my two year old son stayed at the condo for 10 days in April 2011. We had an incredible vacation and fell in love with Barbados. The beaches are pristine, the food is amazing, and the people are so welcoming. The condo is beautifully decorated, modern, clean, well-kept, and a perfect size. Looked exactly as the photos portrayed. There was a key pad entry into the building which was nice. It was quite loud at night due to the two bars right across the street. But after a few nights we were surprisingly used to it. The location is great and so close to everything. You don't need a car and if you feel like venturing out the cabs and buses are everywhere. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for an exciting vacation experience. The gap is not a quiet, slow paced area. The nightlife is a lot of fun and the restaurants are quite good. We really liked cafe sol for the burritos and margaritas! Enjoy Barbados and this condo. Both are so welcoming and it will quickly feel like home. We all can't wait to go back.

My husband, brother, myself, and my two year old son stayed at the condo for 10 days in April 2011. We had an incredible vacation and fell in love with Barbados. The beaches are pristine, the food is amazing, and the people are so welcoming. The condo is beautifully decorated, modern, clean, well-kept, and a perfect size. Looked exactly as the photos portrayed. There was a key pad entry into the building which was nice. It was quite loud at night due to the two bars right across the street. But after a few nights we were surprisingly used to it. The location is great and so close to everything. You don't need a car and if you feel like venturing out the cabs and buses are everywhere. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for an exciting vacation experience. The gap is not a quiet, slow paced area. The nightlife is a lot of fun and the restaurants are quite good. We really liked cafe sol for the burritos and margaritas! Enjoy Barbados and this condo. Both are so welcoming and it will quickly feel like home. We all can't wait to go back.

We were very happy we rented this condo instead of staying at a hotel. Our kids were very comfortable in the room that had two twin beds, the master bedroom's bed was very comfortable, the condo had enough room for the four of us to spread out as if we were at home. Dover beach is very convienant, just a few blocks walk with a nice pavilion where you can get a drink or lunch. Although it rained a few times the showers did not last long and before you knew it the sun was shining again. The condo had just about everything you could think of needing, including boogie boards and a small cooler we used to take with us to the beach. Barry's surf school is just right across the street, my boys thoroughly enjoyed that, & well worth the money. Everything is within walking distance except for a few excursions but is was not a problem because you can be picked up by a charter van upon reservation. We did so many things in one week, Oistins Friday fish fry, Catamaran boat ride and swimming with the turtles, Harbour Lights Show which the kids loved, then toward the end of our vacation to save some money we went to St. James to snorkel at the underwater museum, you just need to rent snorkling equipment which they provide there, the next day a really nice cab driver took us to see the Harrison Caves where he waited for us and then took us to Oistins beach to feed the turtles at a cost of $70.00 for the whole day spent with us. You can buy fish right at the market in front of the docs for a mere $5.00 and the turtles will come right up to the doc where you can get wonderful pictures. We can't wait to come back.

Great stay! The condo is very spacious, super-clean and oh-so conveniently located. It's just a few minutes walk to two spectacular beaches, next to a small supermarket, across from a great local lunch place (Scotty's) and down the road from a number of fantastic restaurants (I highly recommend Pices if you love seafood). A playing field about a hundred yards away has cricket matches some nights. Helpful information about the local area and recommendations by the owners and the managing agents are provided in the condo. Personally loved the fact that the kitchen was fully equipped, and that beach towels were provided. As for the beaches, the water is warm and clear, the sand white and fine. The close end of Dover Beach is perfect for small children, with shallow calm water. The other beach (never did find out the name) has more waves. Between the two, you can rent surf boards, windsurfers, sit-on-top kayaks and small catamarans. Rented two chairs and an umbrella on Dover beach from Charles--he'll give you a discount if you rent for five days or more. Although I'm not runner (I choose to swim), Dover Beach seems to be a great place for running in the a.m.There are two car rental places nearby and taxis are always readily available should you desire to explore. We rented a car for a day and managed to see the entire island (a whole country in a day!), although if you're unaccustomed to driving on the left you may want to hire a taxi for the day. Also had a really great surf lesson at "Dead or Dread" surf shop--they're in Hastings but will pick you at the condo. Altogether had a wonderful, relaxing time. Am already missing the sounds of the whistling frogs in the evenings, and having breakfast on the balcony in the mornings...

Fabulous!
We highly recommend this property and promise you will not be disappointed! The condo is spacious, immaculate and centrally located. We are picky travelers and would not have changed a thing.The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful and the kitchen had everything you could ask for. Having a washer and dryer was especially useful. Beautiful beaches are steps from the condo, and many delicious restaurants are in walking distance. We toured the island with a friendly cab driver and he proudly showed us the capital, tropical gardens, scenic views and monkeys. We loved our stay at this condo.

Only problem was the water pressure in the showers.

Incredible value. What a beautiful stay we had. The accomodations where convenient to all. The only time we needed a cab was from the airport and back. A short walk to a beautiful beach. I was surprised about the many inexpensive yet fabulous dining options. Have already booked for next year.

Myself and 5 friends stayed in this beautiful apt for
2 weeks in Dec. 2008. The apt was beautifully
decorated and comfortable.The apartment has
three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen,
living room/dining room combination and a
wonderful balcony. The balcony faces the St.
Lawrence gap and we spent many dinners out there
enjoying the scenery and the wonderful caribbean
air. The apt is located in the heart of the St.
Lawrence gap and is in walking distance of several
restaurants and bars. The Dover Market is located
right next door, which makes it very convenient for
grocery shopping. The beautiful Dover beach is
located less then a 5 min walk away and has plenty
to do....... relax on the beach, snorkel with the fish
and turtles, or take a ride on a jet ski or catamaran.
I can't wait to go back to Barbados and would definitely stay here again.
