Gessica’s home exceeds every expectation. The photos truly do not do it justice. The apartment is meticulously decorated with Gessica’s artists eye. You are staying in her spacious home in the heart of Montepulciano. The views off the back deck are absolutely spectacular. It’s a picture postcard view of the heart of Tuscany. We started the day with cappuccinos and cornetas on the deck and finished the evening with a glass of wine as the sun went down over the countryside. Gessica and her family were attentive to every need and thoughtfully had small touches ready when we arrived. They gave us wonderful recommendations for where to eat and what to experience during our stay- the wineries, mineral baths and towns to visit. Do not hesitate to book this apartment. It will be a stay that you will remember fondly.

Gessica and Bernardino have created a wonderful space for guests. Bernardino was so gracious to save us a spot in the public parking lot when meeting us for check-in, and he transported our luggage to the apartment while we walked up the stairs to town - it became a well-worn path during our stay.
We were first struck by how incredibly clean and well-appointed the property was upon check-in; and the sunrise view...simply wonderful. While cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed to be comfortable.
We left town nearly every day to explore the region, but returned each evening for apertivos (highly recommend visiting Victor at E Lucevan le Stelle) and dinner (Rosso Rubino Trattoria, practically across the street from the apartment, has the most AMAZING in-house prepared gnocchi). You will not lack for dining options when staying here. Frederico at De' Ricci Cantine Storiche provided a wonderful cave tour and tasting; be sure to visit Talosa to see their cave as well; definitly stop by Enoteca Consorzio Vino Nobile to see the ruins discovered ruins during it's construction, relax while watching the sunset, and enjoy a variety of wine from the region.

The photos don’t do it justice! The apartment is immaculate. The views are incredible. Do yourself a favor and if you are visiting Montepulciano rent this place. The lady that helped us with the check in was fantastic and super helpful. The whole experience was A+++

My wife, two teenagers and I absolutely loved this apartment. The location was ideal, the apartment was tidy, well-appointed, tastefully decorated, and featured a patio with a breathtaking view of the countryside. The host was very responsive and friendly; and she’s an excellent artist, as well! Highly recommended!

This was a lovely place with an amazing view of the countryside. And the terrace was huge! The owners were so helpful, even coming back after we realized we left a coat in the place, after we had checked out! Highly recommended!

Staying inside the walls of Montepulciano is an experience in itself. Montepulciano is simply magical. The apartment is in a prime location with easy access to the many restaurants, shops and historic sites in the town. If you have a vehicle it is also reasonably close to your parking area which is outside the walls. The apartment was very clean and nicely equipped. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The pictures on VRBO are accurate, but you really will be amazed at the style of the apartment. Gessica and Berardino were very good hosts and very nice people. The only suggestion our adult party of four would make is that they really should consider another comfortable chair in the living room. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for our liking. Apart from that it is an excellent place to stay.

This place is amazing in every aspect. Upon arrival, the hosts (Gessica and Berardino) are gracious and accommodating, splendid people. The apartment is very smartly designed with an artistic look that is elegant. The bedrooms are comfortable, the bathrooms clean, the kitchen well stocked, and plenty of room to relax. The very best, however, is the patio that looks east to the hills of Tuscany. You can find plenty of restaurants immediately outside your door and no shortage of wonderful Vino Nobile de Montepulciano. It doesn't get any better than here.

This property was perfect for our Tuscany experience. We greatly appreciated our hosts' assistance in getting parked and settled into this beautiful property. The location is convenient to everything in Montepulciano and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the deck with the spectacular views.

Absolutely amazing!
Gessica & Berardino are top of the line hosts! We were in communication before arrival & Ber met us and took our belongings to the apartment. The apartment gives you the best of both worlds. The stunning Tuscan countryside and a lovely Montelpulciano street on the other side. Everything is at your fingertips & all within walking. The apartment is relaxing, very clean and has all amenities you need. This is the place to stay. Our family is in Montelpulciano every few years and we will always stay here from now on!!

Terrific Tuscan New Year
Everything I read in past reviews was spot on. Bernardino greeted as you would a dear friend. He gave us a walk thru of the beautiful apartment and great information about what to do in Montepulciano. The apartment is very well appointed and with all the amenities one could want. We truly felt we were coming home each night. The view from the terrace is absolutely spectacular.
Thanks again for making our stay so memorable. We couldn’t ’ t think of a better place to ring in the new year!

Wow! Amazing view. Great apartment. Excellent hosts
My husband and I stayed at gessica and Berardino’s place for five days during our honeymoon in Italy. We can’t say enough about how great it was. The place was gorgeous and gessica was very responsive and able to give us advice when we needed it. Berardino was very helpful when we signed in. He told us everything we needed to know, and gave us a tour showing us where everything was. He made us feel at home right away.
This apartment is right in the middle of everything in the historic centre of Montepulciano. Well worth the climb up the hill. We can’t stop talking about the view from the balcony.
We loved our stay and would love to go back again! Thank you so much.

Tuscan Heaven
What a joy to stay in this beautifully restored home! Gessica and Berardino are perfect hosts- they respond quickly and provide excellent advice. A highlight for our guys was expresso and good conversation with B at his bike shop!
As others say, the location can’t be beat. Good food and shopping right out your door. And be sure to experience all 3 ancient wineries in town. We highly recommend Montepulciano for a Tuscany stay. So beautiful. So memorable.

Words fail! Perfect place !
This is a true story. We told ourselves we had to stop just walking around the spacious apartment admiring it’s beauty and get out to see the town and surrounding countryside Speaking of that..our host suggested a 3 day itinerary which we followed. It was delightful! And so was the bottle of red wine waiting for us ! We so enjoyed meeting the couples sweet new baby and Gessica’s father. Check out her art gallery and Gerardo’s Urban Bikery. You wont be disappointed. If this review sounds effusive it’s because it is. We were so sad to leave. We cant imagine a better place to stay. Also.. a special thanks to Gerardo for insisting on carrying our very heavy bags !!

Fabulous Apartment in Great Location
This was definitively the best property we stayed at during our two weeks traveling around Italy. The apartment is beautiful and the owners went above and beyond with taking care of us during our stay. Upon arriving the owners met us at our car and took all of our luggage into the apartment for us. After traveling all day it was so nice to have the help. The apartment is in the perfect location to explore Montepulciano and neighboring areas. It is gorgeous inside and beautifully decorated. Even prettier in person then the pictures show. There is a really nice back patio with an amazing view overlooking the hills of Tuscany. We loved just sitting out on the patio at night and enjoying the beauty of the area. Hosts are so nice and so helpful and always willing to help us out with anything we needed. They recommended great restaurants to eat at, wineries to visit, areas to explore and things to do in the area. We absolutely loved them and I can not say enough about how much they did for us. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone planning a visit to Montepulciano.

Best place in Montepulciano
From top to bottom this is the best place to stay The location is in the center of town. It has two large bedrooms and bathrooms. A great patio with a view of the countryside. If that’s not enough, The owners are wonderful people and will take care of anything you need.

Cerca D'Autore - Awe-inspiring
Loved the online pictures of this flat but reality exceeded expectations. The owner was very helpful, met us at the public car park, drove us straight to the flat. Did not move the car for 7 days, everything you need is in the village. Used e-bikes from Urban Bikery to explore Tuscany and Montepulcian, best way to explore the area.

Perfect in Tuscany
Our dream two-week Italian vacation is in the books and I can’t say enough about our lodging in Montepulcino, Tuscany. Cerca D’ Autore is fabulous. Located on a clean and tidy avenue the apartment is spacious and gorgeous only two blocks from the main Piazza. A light and airy place with all the essentials for two couples was perfect. And Montepulcino is a great jumping off point to explore the Tuscan towns and countryside. Our hosts, Gessica and Berardino were terrific and quick to help if we had any questions. It just couldn’t be easier to give this lodging 5 stars.

We arrived in Montepulciano and Bernardino met us and drove us up to the apartment with our luggage. What a perfect location! Then we walked into the apartment and we’re wowed! It was so beautiful. Spacious and very well appointed. Then he walked us out to the terrace and we were blown away! So big and beautiful and a spectacular view! There were four of us for a week and we all said how much we loved this apartment and our stay in Montepulciano. Thank you so much Gessica and Bernardino! We would love to come back again. After we reserved the apartment, the owners asked us join a facebook group that makes recommendations on the best places to go in the area. This was really informative and fun. The apartment is cozy and the location is amazing. You get a feeling of being in the countryside with the gorgeous view from the large deck, while also living on a central, narrow, winding street in Montepulciano. The owners were very helpful in showing us where to park and taking our luggage up to the apartment. They created a map for us with all the good spots to eat and sample wine. The apartment itself has everything two couples on a trip could want, including a wash machine. Beyond that, the architecture and interior design are very cool. Plus, we found it super affordable.

Very comfortable charming flat in a perfect location in Montepulciano!
We enjoyed our stay at gessica's! Felt like we were personal guests! Giovanna and Orazio were on hand to be sure we had everything we needed! Loved the fact that gessica's art studio was so close by. Such talent! Their recommendations for restaurants and our cooking lesson were great! Really loved Osteria Del Conte restaurant and highly recommend Massimo's cooking lesson at Le Logge del Vignola!

What an incredible accommodation!!! Absolutely stunning apartment, gorgeous elegant touches throughout. We could have used some more comfortable seating for 5 spoiled adults, but this did not detract from our experience. Bellissimo! And wonderful hosts. xoxo
