This is our 2nd stay at the house. It is clean, roomy and in a great location for fishing. The boat dock and outdoor areas are great. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely rent this house again when we return to Hackberry.

Beautiful , peaceful and relaxing

This was a great property if we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here.

We arrived after our long drive from Memphis, TN to enter into this Fish Camp and it was extremely clean and inviting. There is everything you need for your stay. We brought a lot of things with us that we ended up taking back because we didn't need it. The only drawback is sitting on the top deck in the afternoons. There are no ceiling fans on the deck area and each afternoon when the breeze is blowing it was blocked by the house, so sitting on the deck was unbearably hot. The sunset will be in your face for a little while but once the sun goes down, it's actually pleasant sitting outdoors. We didn't know how to turn on the deck lights and the sound on the TV just went out and we couldn't get it back. Another suggestion would be to have a book of instructions on how to operate electronics and lighting. Other than that, we enjoyed the house totally. Having our boat there in our private slip was well worth the price. While we did enjoy the accommodations and location, the marina is what killed it for us. We wanted to do some fishing and one day the marina was closed without warning. For two days the marina had no live bait. For another two days they had no gas. We just kind of wandered around and had to rely on artificial lures for fishing and keep track of how much gas we used each day. The boat ramp is in an awkward location and if you're not careful you will get run over by other boaters. Being our first time fishing on Lake Calcasieu will also be our last. To avid fishermen, this place would be perfect for you. Location and house set up is perfect. Good luck to all on your future fishing trips. Thanks to the owner for allowing us to share his home.

We had a wonderful stay. It was an awesome location right on the water. Morning views were great to wake up to and cabin was super nice. We will definately be back!

Mitch was an amazing host. His camp is perfect for a family or a friend-filled trip. Would highly recommend his camp to anyone. Will be booking again next summer

We had a wonderful stay! Cabin was clean and very nice with all the amenities of home. Located less than 5 miles from grocery store and 15 min to crab! Property owner was easy to communicate with and readily available! Can’t wait to go back!

We rented this property when our son’s baseball team played their World Series in Lake Charles. It was a bit of a drive but it was so worth getting to go to the camp after and relax. Other teammates and friends rented the camp next door(419) and also other camps on Lake Breeze and we could all hang out under the camp and cook and hang out while the boys fished, swam and went on boat rides. The camp was clean and equipped with everything we needed!

We had a great time the house is very very very nice and clean everything up to date the owner Mitchell very nice guy took care of us I appreciate Him renting it to us and we will go back Easy boat access keep the boat right there at the house I cannot wait to go back and we also caught some fish

This is a beautiful home that is well furnished and great décor. It is in a great location with easy access to fishing, I have stayed here several times and the owner is always very responsive and great to work with.

This was our 2nd time to stay here and it's perfect for our family. It's very clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We spent most of our time on the large porch or visiting on the ground level. Very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

Owner responded to questions we had immediately. The kitchen stocked with some pots and pans, dishes, glasses, etc. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay.

Loved the property. Clean, spacious. Had room for the whole family. The property manager was also very friendly and easily available for any questions. Had such a fun family weekend of crabbing, fishing and cooking our catch. 🙂�🙂�Highly recommend.

The house was great! Just the right size. We all loved it! Perfect for 3 couples.

Very clean, easy access to work in the morning and in the evening. Relax in the evening with the constant breeze and fish right off of the deck. Mitch was an excellent host, definitely worth the drive from anywhere. We will be back!
