The apartment is clean, tidy and well laid out. The location is within easy walking distance to the harbour. There is a public car parking facility not far from the property. The street in which the apartment is located is narrow and so not suitable for driving to or parking outside the property, but I did not find this posed a difficulty due to the proximity of the car park which has a pay machine facility.

The location of the flat was absolutely perfect! 100m walk to the port where there are lots of great restaurants and bars. The flat was clean, stocked with the perfect amount of amenities and easily accessible (when walking). I would suggest parking in the Verdun parking lot and walking to the flat, as the road it's on is too small to go down with a car. Valerie was a most gracious host who came and met us to introduce herself and check that everything was okay.

As the flat is in an old French building, noise travels quite easily so I would suggest sleeping with the fan on (for white noise) or bringing ear plugs. Also, I would say this flat is more suitable for short stays (i.e. weekends) than long stays as there isn't a lot of space to keep your things and there isn't a dining table to eat.
