Large room & great breakfast

Das Hotel liegt zentral . Gute Erreichbarkeit von allem, was wir wollten. Aber: das Hotel lebt von der Substanz. Offenbar schon lange. Die Betten waren ausgelegen, die Kinderbetten waren katastrophal. Die Suite glich einer Turnhalle mit Bett, Schrank, kleinem Tisch und kleinem TV. Das Bad: herunterhängender Spiegelschrank, sodass alles ins Waschbecken fiel, wackelige und schiefe Klobrille, Stecker für Boiler im Dusch/Nassbereich 🙈. Duschaufhängung war aus der Wand gerissen. Alles im Prinzip nicht schlimm-ausser der Elektroanschluss im Nassbereich. Aber die Erwartung, die das Inserat vermittelt, wurden sehr enttäuscht. Das Frühstück war ok. Wir wurden satt, auch wenn der Kellner hinter der Bar schlief. War er wach, war er sehr freundlich!! Hier stellt sich die Frage nach den Arbeitsumständen des Personals. Wir waren vorher im My Hotel, 1,5km entfernt. Das war modern und hell. Würden im MyHotel wieder einchecken.

Es braucht Investitionen in Zimmer und Lebendigkeit. Der Charme war leicht morbide.

Everything

This property was very well situated and authentic in design. It provided all the facilities and amenities a guest could want. It was immaculately clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast hearty and delicious

I only have positive things to say

The people here were all so friendly and helpful. I would especially like to thank Beka who helped us on the morning of Sept. 13 as we were trying to understand with our driver to Almaty how things would transpire. There was some confusion and because of her excellent English we were able to get everything straight between the driver and us. She went above and beyond in an effort to make everything go smoothly for us. We appreciated her kindness and efficiency.

This property is gorgeous, and wonderfully (and thoughtfully decorated). The hotel is located right in the middle of the city centre so it was convenient enough to walk to key sights within the city. The room we stayed at was clean, well furnished and the bed was very cozy. Staff was attentive and helpful in answering our queries. Definitely a place we recommend staying at.

Because of its central location, you can hear the sounds of traffic in the middle of the night - although muffled. If you’re a very light sleeper, this may potentially pose an issue but we slept well enough ourselves.
