The kitchen was the best. Loved working in it. Very spacious house. Great split bedroom plan. Soooo clean, my priority when choosing a rental. Smelled fresh & clean. Loved all the natural light. The only thing I had a problem with was the shower in master off kitchen. All it needs is a flexible handheld shower head with adjustable spray. Not a deal breaker for me. Easy fix. Jekyll Realty offered Blissful Oaks to us because the house we had rented had an unpleasant odor,probably from moldy fireplace. I've only had to change houses oTwice in my 35 years experience with Jekyll Realty & they served us very well both times.

Just steps from the beach access on Bliss Lane, Blissful Oaks was a great long weekend getaway. Great value for whole house, well stocked and super cool laid back vibe. Well located on Jekyll Island. We plan to stay again on our next visit to the Golden Isles.

This was the second year that I have spent the winter here. It was improved in several significant ways since my stay last year and was therefore a more pleasant experience. I have booked for next season as the house is good for me and very well located. I look forward to visiting next year as Jekyll is always a pleasure to visit.

The house is located steps away from the beach, walking/biking trails and only a mile from the golf courses. The house is in decnt shape and the owners are investing in it to update doors, windows and appliances. The house is comfortable and this is my second season in the house.

Beautiful older home that has been remodeled and updated but still has some vintage charm with the fireplace and built ins. Love the house and would recommend. It was a lovely home and very comfortable for 2 families. Would rent again.

From the start my husband and I had a good experience! Jekyll Island realty called us on day of our arrival and told us the house was ready and unlocked. Upon arrival the property was just perfect! Perfect setting, clean, everything we could need was there. We took our grandson and much to our surprise they had games and legos and toys to entertain him! That was a God send when weather was ideal for beach going! The house was such a beauty! The decor was beautifully done. Beach casual with antiques throughout and a very warm welcoming home feel to it! We hated to leave. We are looking forward to going back soon!!

This is our second time renting this property. We love it. It is the perfect layout for our family. Please note that the beach access at the end of Bliss Lane is closed. A storm took out the stairs so you will have to go to walk to the next street down.

We have been vacationing at Jekyll for many years. Much more relaxing to rent a house, we enjoyed our time! Unfortunately boardwalk was closed but still easy to access from neighboring streets. Love the island and wildlife. We will be back!

I renter this proprty for 3 mths starting Jan 2/23 and I have very much enjoyed my stay. The house is great just for me and I love the courtyard as it brings the birds/squirrels if you dare to feed the. The location is great with access to beach and bike paths and it is close to the golf courses. You could even bike there. The accomodations are decent and clean. That is all I need.

The house is conveniently located on Bliss Lane and is close to the beach, bike paths and the golf courses. The house is very comfortable for me and I have had guests stay and they enjoyed it as well. I also like the courtyard inthe back and the BarBQ is a Webber and is great.

We had a family wedding on the island at the JIC and our stay at Blissful cottage was close to the activities, but closer to a great beach for walking and fun. The cottage offered lots of rooms, but truly needs a major cleaning of walls, floors and bathrooms. We had enough sleeping room for our family. We were busy with activities so didn't spend much time at the home except for sleeping and getting ready.

This house is on a pretty street with a direct access to the beach. The layout of the home is very nice, there is a fully equipped kitchen and a nice grilling area outside. The only complaint that I would have is that the property was not as clean as I would expect. Anthony, from the property management team, took very good care of us and went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of.

Blissful Blessings
We had a very nice stay at Blissful Oaks. The property was well maintained and the management company was very responsive and accomodating.
We didn't quite understand the tide schedule and that caught us off guard a few times. The tide truly washes up the board walk steps and the beach is not accessible during those times. Accessible areas are just a few minutes drive away.
The master bedroom does not have air conditioning, which was not a big issue for us in May, but would be a strong consideration during hotter months.
Overall we felt very comfortable in this relaxing well stocked house and thought that the price was quite reasonable, too.

Relaxing, quiet and fun
The property was really nice, had a charm to it but was still modern where it needed to be. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space and the kitchen was well stocked with appliances, crockery and cuttlery. Just steps from the beach made this one a perfect location. The main village was just minutes by car and the island is also perfect for cycling. The beaches were great - ideal for our two young kids (8 and 6) who we could let explore without the need to be constantly watching them. Good food was close by - Wee Pub and Driftwood Bistro being very good (although long waits). Jekyll Realty were very efficient and also very helpful in helping me retrieve a lost wedding ring for which I'm so grateful. We'll almost certainly be back!

Blissful? Oaks
This is a quaint, quirky 50’s cottage that is on a quiet street that will soon have beach access at the end of the street. The cleanliness could have been better (but that is on the rental agents). The en-suite shower door is broken, so it was not usable. Our first night, a huge, heavy oak limb fell, barely missing our car. The hours for stores were a bit frustrating, closing early so we couldn’t get ice cream after 6pm. Overall, we had great weather, and nice relaxing time.

The house was cute & what we expected. We didn’t have any issues with the house itself. We enjoyed the house throughout the week. It was in a good location & we really utilized the side entry & outdoor shower when coming back from the beach. Unfortunately, our experience was marred somewhat by our experience with the management company. We had called ahead, as we were arriving early, to see if it would be ready before 4pm. We were told it should be ready about 2:30. We arrived at Jekyll about 1:30, so since it wasn’t that long, we just drove around instead of going to the beach. We didn’t hear anything back, so I called and was told it would be closer to 4. They finally called at 3:45 to say we could come get the key. A lot of wasted time where we could have spend doing something if we’d know it wouldn’t be ready until 4.
When we arrived at the house, we noticed several cleaning issues. The light fixture in one bedroom was covered in cobwebs, the toilet in one bathroom had obviously not been cleaned, the seating cushions in front of the fireplace appeared dirty & the top of the refrigerator was covered in several weeks of grime (my husband could see it as the refrigerator was not very tall). I called the management company and the woman made excuses for the condition, but didn’t offer any remedy. We didn’t have any cleaning supplies with us, so the only thing we could take care of were the cobwebs.
The management company finally called us back and said they would send someone to clean the toilet. The women who came we very nice and took care of the toilet & refrigerator. I felt bad for them as it was after 5 and they weren’t the people who had initially cleaned it he house.
They scheduled someone to clean the cushions, but cleaned the couch & chair cushions, leaving them very wet. They didn’t clean the ones we complained about. We had nowhere to sit in our living room. We had ask for a fan

Great place for a family stay!
Our stay was great! The size and location was perfect. The house could have been a bit cleaner, but it was fine. There wasn’t enough TP for our stay but we bought some. Would have been nice to have known it wasn’t included, but we’ll know for next time. No big deal. The walk to the beach was short and easy. We may try to stay there again next year!
