The interior of the property was as described (clean and well equipped). The deck offered a nice view of the distant beach and ocean surroundings. The exterior of the home was a bit rough and not easily usable for outdoor sitting or BBQ. Use of the two car garage is critical as street parking is a risky business due to the narrow width of the street and the very dense neighborhood housing. I would rent here again.

We really liked this property and will definitely look to rent it again. The house suited us far better than expected. In fact, I rated it 4 starts for accuracy instead of 5, only because I think it is nicer than the photos express. Although not one of the luxury homes on the hill, this home is clean, comfortable, fantastic view, well stocked in the kitchen and provided us everything we could have needed during our stay. We were six, two adults and four children. Would highly recommend.

We enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday in this home. The kitchen was well equipped and there was room for our family of seven. The kids really had fun at the beach.

This is our second year staying here. Great location and roomy enough to accommodate 2 families nicely. Kitchen remodel is beautiful. Only complaint is no access to a dryer. It would be a nice feature given the proximity to the beach and the marine layer that comes in at night. Beach towels and bathing suits don’t dry. Its a lovely get away place all in all.

Great property! We used to camp at Lawson’s Landing every Labor Day weekend but now that we’re OOS we needed an alternative lodging option to rendezvous with our friends. This property was great! Beautiful views, nice amenities, good location. Our only complaint would be that the line of cars to the beach backs up a very long way and made driving to Lawson’s a bit slow if we got out late. Once we figured that out, no problem. We appreciated having separate rooms, full bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen perhaps even more than we liked camping in our trailer! Already making plans for our next trip! Highly recommend this property!

Family was in town from Pennsylvania for my sisters wedding. House had plenty of room for myself my wife and our four children. Convenient access to the beach and across the street from General store.

My family loved this adorable little beach side cottage. So close to the ocean with absolutely amazing views. I didn’t even notice the powerlines loved the birds that visited me every morning on the balcony . Beach less than a five minute walk. Water is cold but I guess that’s the West Coast for you. Kind of tricky getting in and out of the garage. Loved the general store and restaurant across the street. Loved driving to the house through the Golden Hills with beautiful cattle. Thank you for introducing me to Dillon Beach.

This was our first time to Dillon Beach and it was way better than anticipated! the property was in great shape and the view of the coast was unbelievable! Definitely one of our best VRBO experiences!

Was able to walk to the beach Weather was very windy, but still able to enjoy the time.

We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our group of 5 women. The view of the beach was fantastic and beach access was just down the hill. Since the home is multi-level, I would recommend the home for a more active crowd. That said, the house is clean and well appointed. We found everything we needed in the kitchen although we brought our own spices. The host was very attentive to our questions about the property and the in-house rules and check out procedures were clear and easy to follow. There is a small general store across the street that has most every you might need including souvenirs. This cute, tiny town is worth the visit.

As local residents, we love a stay that gives you the feel of being “home.” This property offers that nicely. Dead flowers in all the bedrooms that smelled string of decomposition needed to be discarded before our arrival. Heater is super loud in a random knocking way at night. We were staying during a rainy cold front so we opted for extra blankets instead of heat source. Beautiful views. Easy check-in. Can’t beat the location. Clean, albeit dated furniture - very comfortable and clean. Beds are comfortable. Downstairs very cold but probably really nice in the summer months. Enjoyed our family’s stay. Well priced. We rent in the area frequently for family getaway and gather. Great value.

Located so close to the beach. The weather was perfect. Everything we needed. Great stay. (The electronic wires were distracting the perfect view.)

Great location. House was clean. For small kids I missed being able to use a washer/dryer and having a bathtub but overall a good stay.

We stayed for 5 nights over Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it. (We usually stay in Dillon at this time of year.) The deck and its view were great. The communal space was just right. The kitchen was large enough for multiple people to cook a huge meal. We loved the easy walk to the beach and to hike up into the hillside. It was a bonus to have a two car garage, noting it was a busy week of traffice for the holiday. We look forward to our next visit.

Packed up my mom and my twin 12-yr olds for our second trip back to Dillon Beach. My son found this lovely beach house and we couldn’t have been happier! House was squeaky clean upon arrival and had everything we needed to feel at home away from home! Plenty of space for everyone to have their own rooms, and bathrooms were nicely sized—loved the beautiful sea shell mirror in the upstairs bathroom!! In fact all the beach decor was marvelous! The two-car garage was a super plus! We parked our rental car safely inside for the whole trip, only leaving once to make the 15 min journey into “town” to the new general store and fresh farm stand! Lovely! We also frequented the Dillon Beach general store across the street, often on our way to and from the beach—which also was just minutes away from the beach house. Wonderful views from the front balcony (yes there are power lines but we still got some great sunset pics!) and some of the bedrooms. Heaters worked well and there were plenty of blankets if needed. We had an issue with the downstairs bathroom window not locking, and once I notified the owner she promptly replied and helped. There are several windows without shades or curtains in the front living room and kitchen area, so we were a bit concerned with the lack of privacy in that regard as the house sits right on the corner as you come into the main Dillon Beach resort area. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay! This house has been well taken care of! We look forward to returning!

We stayed here in September 2021 and it was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked and definitely had a vintage feel. The bathrooms were newly remodeled. The house was clean and there are lots of windows for the fresh air to come through. The beds were comfortable, except for the full/queen bed in the lower floor - it was quite squeaky. And the view was amazing. We sat out on the balcony and enjoyed the sound of crashing waves and watching all the surfers. It's a short walk to the beach, but it's downhill, so if you have problems walking down or up hill, it might be challenging. Lots of stairs inside and outside of the house; but for our family, it was very do-able. It was a really fun stay for our family. Thanks so much!

Great location! So close to the beach, and very clean. We had a great time and can't wait to go back!

My family of three has been vacationing with another family of three for 10 years. This was our first in Dillon Beach. We loved being directly across from the General Store with easy access to soft serve (a must have on a beach vacation). The living room was large with ample seating for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of gizmos and gadgets. The house is definitely not fancy, but it is comfortable with a nice big table for dining. We were able to use one end of it for a jigsaw puzzle and the 6 of us could still use the rest to eat. Some of our party felt the beds in two of the downstairs rooms were quite soft and very squeaky. The small balcony was fantastic for the view and the amazing Northern California coast air. All in all, we would stay here again.

It couldn't hurt to clean the windows and change a shower curtain now and then.

Perfect location to enjoy the ocean both on the beach and from the kitchen table; easy walk to the beach and great view from the house. Plenty of space for 6 adults. Kitchen had everything we needed.

We usually camp at Dillion Beach. This time we had out of town friends visiting. We wanted something close with plenty of room for all the kids and easy beach access. This house was perfect. Easy to fine. Quick walk to the beach. Perfect family getaway. Only things to consider, getting in and out of the garage in a larger vehicle was a bit awkward. And definitely need good knees for the stairs and trip too and from the beach lol.

Loved being so close to the beach and the home was just perfect for our family. The extra beach chairs and beach mats in the garage were a surprise bonus for us. Thank you.

The house was very clean and a great location. House is older but we were impressed with the cleanliness, great view and had everything we needed. We did bring our own spices for cooking abs anything else we needed was right across the street at the store.

Lots of stairs should be more prominently mentioned. Views of ocean blocked by power lines. Comfortable beds. Efficient heaters. Well equipped kitchen.

This was our family's first trip to Dillon Beach, and we had a blast. The beach is much lower key than Doran Beach up the road, and corner market (stocked with coffee bar, wine, beer, ice cream, various sundries) across the street from the rental home is a gem. The house itself is comfy, and the views from the top story are spectacular. A few words of caution: we fortunately don't have any limitations of movement. If we did, however, this house with its wonky driveway and steep stairs would prove to be exceptionally challenging to access. Also, if you're planning on cooking during your stay, bring EVERYTHING. The house doesn't even have salt and pepper, so that was a downer when dinner time rolled around. (Again, thank goodness for the market across the street!) All told, we would definitely come back.
