We just finished a Whistler vacation and have nothing but positive things to say about this lovely home.
Check-In was easy and very detailed arrival instructions were provided. The home was spotless and full of details that make this a first-class property. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The décor was lovely. The large garage was perfect for keeping our car and ski gear out of the cold. The heated flooring felt fantastic. The hot tub was clean, easily fit our family of 5, and had an amazing view.
Ski In and Ski Out are about an easy 2-minute walk away and very convenient.
We are fortunate enough to travel a fair amount and this home definitely stood out as one of the best ones we have stayed in. I thoroughly recommend!

We had a great stay at this property! Everything was very clean and as described/pictured. There was plenty of space and everything we needed was there and easily found. The views were amazing and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace!

Four east coast skiiers had a fantastic week here. The place was very welcoming and very well appointed and the view was great. The hot tub was especially enjoyable. Our host was informative and always readily available to answer any questions. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

This place is amazing! Very comfortable, very well equipped kitchen. After a long day of skiing the heated floors with a fire in the fireplace and some time in the hot tub is a great way to wind down the day!

Fantastic Whistler Stay
This was one of the best stays I have had in Whistler in recent years. The unit was very well furnished, included everything you needed in the kitchen, and felt extremely comfortable. Unlike some rentals that feel sterile,2 this unit felt comfortable and relaxing from the moment we stepped in.

Great Views and nice neighbourhood
This property was amazing. Cozy and well layed out from furnishing to bedding. We even used the hot tub during our stay (in the summer) because the views overlooking the Olympic Rings were too nice to miss out. The property was up at the top of the ridge so the area was very quiet and comfortable. Will definitely stay at this property and/or in the area again. Thank you.

Wow! Just Wow!
This home is everything as described and more. You will want or ask for anything when staying here. Easily the very best VRBO property my family has ever stayed in. Well appointed, great location, spotless, and over the top directions. Even laminated. You must see to believe. One question to the owner, Susan, and it is answered in minutes not days or even hours! Christmas Ski Trip 2020
We have rented many ski homes over the years and this one is by far the nicest. And it had everything imaginable included in the unit. Down to the Christmas tree which was a very nice and appreciated touch. The owner was very responsive to questions as was the local property management company. If you are looking to visit Whistler, I highly recommend you consider this place for your stay.

PERFECT Whistler Mountainside home!
We cannot say enough about our 6 nights at Susan and Harry's lovely home in Whistler which we just rented over the Christmas holiday. From start to finish, everything was perfect! The home is very well appointed-- very clean and comfortable and just lovely. We love to relax after a day on the slopes and the kitchen included everything we needed to make dinners at home. Susan was very communicative from the start, and included detailed tips and information about things to do, restaurants, ski rentals, etc etc etc which was wonderfully helpful when traveling to a new area. The views from this home are amazing, hot tub clean and comfortable -- just everything was great. We thoroughly enjoyed family time together in Susan and Harry's beautiful mountainside home. We would not hesitate renting this amazing home in Whistler. Thank you, Susan and Harry, for sharing your lovely home!

Ten Lovely Days at Taluswood #7
Susan was wonderfully communicative and answered our many questions prior to booking and all the way through our rental.. We have rented many places over the years, but the quality and abundance of the accoutrements made this condo feel like a home and were beyond anything we had ever experienced. The available information was plentiful and readily available. The management company was very accessible. In short, we were already thinking about returning even before we had checked out! Gorgeous home! Excellent for ski in and ski out!
We absolutely loved staying at this home! It was gorgeous inside and out! We can’t say enough great things about Susan as well! She was a such a sweetheart all through the booking and preparation portion of our trip. She even providing us with the cutest little email before our trip that gave us some suggestions and tips before we made our way up to whistler! Also if you are skiing or snowboarding this is the perfect home for you, the ski in/ ski out is legitimately a stones throw away from the place and if you are skiing or boarding the whistler side of the mountain, its a perfect side to end your day on,to mosey on back to the place. If you are headed into the village for dinner it’s only a $12 cab ride into the village! So super affordable and great access to the village. We cannot say enough great things about this owner and property. We will definitely be booking again for next year! ❤️❤️❤️

Great Slopeside House!
This is a great house, clean and organized... it has everything you could want for a ski or summer vacation. We were 4 guys on a ski trip and this house was more than comfortable ... it would easily accommodate a bigger group. I would rent this house again.

Wonderful Whistler VRBO
Wonderful place with gorgeous views of slopes! Ski-out trail was fine, but beware the ski-in trail may not be accessible, even in January. During our stay the section of the Lower Dave Murray Downhill needed to access the ski-in trail had been roped off by the resort.

What a wonderful place!
We stayed in this condo from 22 Dec 18 through 27 Dec 18. The accommodations were perfect for our family. The bedrooms being on different levels was fantastic for families with children. Susan did everything in her power (and more) to make us feel at home. From the Christmas tree, to the high chair and baby gates, to the crock pot in the kitchen, being flexible on our time of arrival, etc. it was truly a wonderful holiday. The condo was spotless, and comfortable and exactly as advertised. Whistler itself is like a winter wonderland. My daughter in law described it best by saying she had just spent a week inside a snow globe! The entire family agrees we would love to go back!

Ski Heaven in Beautiful Whistler
We were fortunate to rent this ski place for 7 nights just after Christmas. The four bedroom townhome was extremely comfortable and easily accommodated our family of five. The owners have equipped the home with all the necessities. We not only enjoyed the fabulous skiing but also felt completely at home in the residence. The beds and bedding were super comfy for all of us. The hot tub was a big hit and very much appreciated after skiing. The townhome offers complete privacy and awesome views of one of the ski runs. Susan was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. I highly recommend the rental of this townhome. Many thanks to the owners!

The perfect mountain hideaway!
Right from the moment we opened the front door, we were delighted with this property. It was impeccably clean and tidy, well appointed with all the facilities and amenities you would want, plus the little things that you don't necessarily think of, but that make all the difference.
The cabin style decor in the house is a combination of wood and stone with under floor heating on the main floor and carpets on the stairs and in the bedrooms and the furniture is in great condition and fits the house perfectly. The beds, bedding and the sofas are all incredibly comfortable and the towels that are provided are in great condition and well looked after. The baths are great (the kids loved the Jacuzzi style bath), the showers had good pressure and the hot water supply survived 4 adults and 3 kids without any issue! All these things made for the perfect cosy mountain getaway that we wanted for our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.
There were two couples and a total of 3 young children in our group and everyone had their own bedroom/beds, with plenty of bathrooms between us all. Having bedrooms and bathrooms on both the top floor and in the basement (above ground on the down-slope side of the house), made this the ideal house for sharing with another family as we all had our own private parts of the house with plenty of space in the kitchen/living/dining area for hanging out. The open fire place is a great touch and we were able to get some logs burning to top off the already great atmosphere to the house.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property if you are looking for a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay and don't want to deal with the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village.

Exceeded our expectations and then some!
Wow! Phenomenal! Prior to our arrival it was difficult to stay guarded and contain our level of excitement and expectations having read all the glowing reviews. But they were right! The place was amazing! Undoubtedly the best place we have ever rented! The attention to detail was everywhere! It truly felt as if the owners really wanted us to enjoy their home. Not just some get rich, cash grab! We will stay there again in a heartbeat! Susan... thanks again for making our family reunion in Whistler extra special! Mom is still glowing!!!

Susan was a really accommodating. She was easy to reach via email. The place is nice, clean and well kept. We loved the view of the mountains and gondola from the back balcony. The hot tub was an added bonus. We would definitely stay at this place again!

We loved our stay at Taluswood so much. The location is great for ski in and out in the winter. Summer would be great too, since Creekside is central to all of Whistler. The house was super clean upon arrival and had all amenities needed. Great fireplace, bbq and spa to add to the vacation. View of ski slopes is great! Beds are super comfy and all basics for kitchen and bathroom supplied. Wonderful visit!
