Home away from home, cosy setting with all amenities one would want! A real gem.

Ed was great, very personable. The space had all we needed. The deck and hot tub were lovely and private. Location perfect. The only downfall was us being spoiled and used to privacy when you rent a house…lots of local residents lived on street-all friendly but lots of stares when you sit on deck. Having access to Ed’s garden was amazing!

Ed and Lea are excellent hosts and great people! We loved our stay (we are repeat guests). The place is clean and comfortable. Enjoyed badminton and grilling dinner. There are games and DVD's and cable for rainy days. Short walk or bike ride to town.

Return visit with very gracious hosts! Cozy apartment in quiet residential neighborhood 5min from downtown Vineyard Haven. Lots of windows. Easy access to washer/dryer. Plenty of room for the two of us and our stuff. Plan to return.

Cozy VH apartment in quiet, convenient neighborhood
The ground level apartment is cozy and is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood, a short drive to downtown Vineyard Haven. Lots of room for parking.
It's bright, with lots windows in every direction. It has a wraparound deck, with beautiful pots of flowers at every corner. Comes with a hot-tub, but we did not use it.
Interior is very clean and comfortable, with updated appliances. Lots of dishes, pots and pans if you desire to cook.
Easy access to the washing machine and dryer was a plus.
If you're a musician, there's a piano in the bedroom to play.

Location, charm and easy!
We enjoyed staying in VH at Ed & Lee’s house. They were great host and set up the house to give privacy and access to amenities. Sharing their delicious garden veggies and fruits! We will gladly stay again!

Simply Perfect
Ed and Lea were gracious hosts during our stay. They thought of all the little things that make a place feel like home. We enjoyed having breakfast on their expansive deck every morning next to their lovely garden. They even shared some of their fresh garden picks with us throughout the week! We couldn't have asked for a better stay and can't wait to return!

Lovely outdoor property in Vineyard Haven
Communication with Edwin was great. My mother stayed at the property instead of my husband and me, Edwin was completely fine with that change.The outdoor property was great. The property was convenient to Vineyard Haven and I would definitely book it again.

Perfect spot for a small family
This is just a wonderful place. Ed and Lea are fantastic hosts. The property is walking distance from town, and a short drive to wherever you want to be. The apartment is the perfect size for a family like ours, two parents and a baby. And the deck! Just perfect. We spent a day of our vacation visiting with friends on the deck and it didn’t feel like we missed out on anything.

Delightful Getaway
This was a charming apartment that was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged. The deck and outdoor amenities really made this special though. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and had arranged some treats from their garden for us when we arrived. Would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy apartment with beautiful deck/yard.
This in-law style apartment was great for our week-long stay on MV. We cooked a fair amount while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought our bikes over on the ferry and it was great to be able to store them on the deck behind the house. The deck and yard are beautiful and we enjoyed many mornings and evenings relaxing there. The street is quite with not much thru-traffic. We got to chat with Ed for a bit about his life on MV and he gave us recommendations for a few good beaches nearby. We would love to come back someday.

Very relaxing getaway
For a relaxing week this was the perfect place for us. Sitting outside in the evenings on the new patio was great. Only thing you hear are the occasional boats coming into Vineyard Haven. Ed was the perfect host. Thank you for a nice week

Really beautiful home with great owners,.close to anything you need to be close to and private enough to be a real retreat. Definitely would rent again and recommend to anyone looking for a couples vacation.

A cute and secluded getaway
We really enjoyed our stay here and loved the island. Edwin and Lea were perfect hosts who made sure we were comfortable during our stay. This apartment has a lot of charm and opens onto a private deck, so it’s a great place to stay if you want a nearby owner (upstairs) but also want private time outside to relax.

Superb Experience with Easy Access to Vineyard Haven
The place was very clean with lots of nice touches (games, movies, books, badminton, hot tub, fire pit, hammock, etc). Ed and Lea were super friendly and had great suggestions on where to go and what to do. The indoor pictures don't do it justice. Easy bike to downtown Vineyard Haven.

Great rental
All of the reviews are consistently correct. This is a very clean, comfortable, well-appointed and convenient place to be on the island. The deck is as advertised - huge and comfortable with a great hot tub that we used several evenings. Ed and Lea are great hosts and provided a number of great suggestions about things to do, restaurants, etc. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wonderful Vineyard Haven Gem
We had a wonderful week at this property located on a quiet street in Vineyard Haven. Everything you need is included in this spotless, private, one bedroom. It has an amazing deck and hot tub with views of the stars. The owners are very nice and have thought of everything for your stay including beach chairs, coolers, beach toys, beach umbrella, badminton, grill and fire pit. Highly recommend this property!

Peaceful Family Vacation
My husband, our two kids and myself stayed a week at this home. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. The hot tub was amazing. Our daughter played on the piano all week. Gas and charcoal grill on the deck. The owners live upstairs and were always available for anything we needed but gave us our space and privacy. The apartment was clean and cozy and had everything we needed for the week. Close to downtown Vineyard Haven...you can uber or walk to the buses, shops, restaurants and ferry. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Two adults had plenty of room in this 1 BR, 1 Ba "under" on a quiet lane in Vineyard Haven off Franklin Street. The property was very well kept, the owners were very receptive, and offered a well-appointed, nicely-updated property.

We had a great stay. The place was clean and comfy with a nice kitchen to cook in. The location can’t be beat and we loved the beautiful deck and hot tub. The owners were friendly but also gave us our privacy. Would definitely stay again :)

Clean and Functional Space
The unit was very clean and the owners anticipated a traveler's needs by providing a generous amount of towels (including beach towels), beach chairs, and cooler. The deck is large and has a clean working gas grill for outdoor grilling. Access to a full-size washer and dryer was convenient for a week-long stay. The neighborhood is not scenic (no water views) although the wild turkeys patrolling the area are entertaining to watch. Because of the location outside the town center a car is helpful for getting around.

Perfect place in Vineyard Haven
My wife and I just returned from our vacation at Martha's Vineyard and we felt we picked the perfect place to stay. The home was cozy and clean everything was in excellent working order. We really enjoyed touring the Island during the day and returning to the deck and hot tub in the evenings.

Comfortable, Conviently Located Charmer
This charming property presents exactly as shown. My family of four was quite comfortable and enjoyed the peaceful location. The cozy patio is the highlight. We lacked for nothing with the amenities such as air conditioning, WiFi , linens, towels etc. The owners were accommodating and wonderful to work with. I even left my favorite lipstick and was notified right away. By Mr Griggs. He then shipped it to me and refused my offer to reimburse. We would definitely rent again. Our Thanks Again to the Griggs.

Great island rental for a family of 4!
What a wonderful property! The owners definitely go the extra mile to make this rental homey and inviting. The description and pictures were very accurate and they really provided everything we needed for our stay. When they realized our childrens’ ages, they even pulled out beach toys and a sprinkler in the yard for us to play in. While this is the lower floor unit to their home, we had privacy and were given our space. I can’t say enough about how happy we were staying here!

This property met all of our needs! Our purpose in visiting the Vineyard was to have a peaceful, relaxing time away to enjoy our anniversary. The home was beautiful and the owners were very accommodating and friendly. Everything was explained upon our arrival and we felt right at home. Looking forward to going back asap!

Excellent charming place to spend vacation.
This rental place is as described at their website and more. Very friendly and charming owners.You will feel like at home. While we stayed there we did not need anything except the groceries which is not very far. I can imagine that it would be even a better place during summer season where one can enjoy the deck. They are not overstating when they say it is huge. Hot tub was an excellent addition and they even have a outside fire pit. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting MV and looking for a rental.
