This is our 2nd time staying at this beautiful Cerró Del Vigía home in Zihuatanejo. We love the views and friendly staff, Rufi, Vialey, Beto and Gustavo treated us so well. We also made use of the tennis courts!

The view from the top floor is stunning! The infinity pool overlooking Playa La Ropa and out to Zihuatanejo is spectacular. The bedrooms are very comfortable and everyone gets their own bathroom, which we loved. Rufi and Vianey are so lovely and a joy to have around. Gustavo was also very knowledgeable and helpful and accomodating. You really feel like you are living in the jungle with the open feel of the house and being high on the mountain. There are various kinds of bugs that visit, such as cute little frogs, butterflies, ants and one morning, a tarantula! It was all very exciting and added to the charm.

This is a little piece of heaven highly recommended. Sad to leave but happy that we were able to stay there and enjoy it t's beauty.

We had an amazing stay here! This place is truly amazing and highly recommend staying here. The staff are top notch, the house is gorgeous, the views are fabulous, the food is delicious and the entire time we felt safe. The house is big enough that our party of 7 with kids ages 11-18 that we all had our own space.

Gratitude and appreciation to Teresa and the staff for making this a fantastic 2-week vacation! The view is literally breath taking and we spent most of our time on the veranda taking in the panoramic, "top of the world" view, floating in the pool and having a wonderfully relaxing time. The staff (Rufi and Vianey) keep the casa very clean and picked up. They were always in a good mood and provided us with many tasty meals. We often ate leftovers, as we were avoiding going out due to COVID. Meal planning was a bit challenging as we unfortunately do not speak Spanish, but with a good sense of humor and a translation app, we figured it all out. Both ladies are very friendly and welcoming, like everyone who works for the Casa. We enjoyed the fresh smelling sheets and towels every day and the spotless rooms and bathrooms. Every room has a view of the ocean and surrounding area. The maintenance/gardener (Beto) keeps the pool and everything else going smoothy and is responsive, if there is an issue. Gustavo, the GM, speaks English very well and was always available when needed. We communicated via phone and WhatsAp. He did the grocery shopping and took us to the beach. Next time, we will do a better job planning the groceries, but we mostly ate what we bought, so there was not a lot of waste. Airport pick up and deliver went without a hitch. Ivan picked us up and Gustavo dropped us off. COVID testing was arranged by Gustavo and was stress free. The screens worked well and we have had few but bites, despite being on the veranda. We did not have consistent internet access in the main bedroom, but the reception was good on the upper floor. While there are two TVs in the casa, we were able to use only the one in the media room, as a ROKU stick had gone missing, and we used the available one for the media room. No big deal. Our fitness improved thanks to climbing steps (50 to the main bedroom and 70+ to the media room), fewer to the three second floor bedrooms. If someone has balance issue, they might struggle a bit at the top of the stairs, as there is no railing for the first portion. Same goes for the pool that requires taking a deep step without handles. There is some construction noise, but that is to be expected. Lots of early morning bird noises. Teresa is an amazing and responsive host, and we recommend the Casa highly. We can't wait to be back! Thank you to everyone for making this a memorable vacation!

5-star treatment by the friendly staff, great communication with everyone involved, and above all, the pictures posted here don’t do justice to this gem of a property. The house is spacious with lots of places to sit and relax. Nature is all around,, and swimming in the warm water of the swimming pool with an incredible view of the town tops everything else. I thought the pictures were too good to be true, but it turns out, it’s so much better in reality. The property is beautifully decorated and there is abundance of little extras we did not anticipate. We absolutely recommend this property although we would rather keep it a secret. Thank you to the staff, manager, and owners for sharing this spectacular place with us!

This place was perfect for our group of 6. The house was amazing as was the view. All of the people helping during our stay were very attentive and easy to get ahold of if we had a question or needed anything. We can't wait go back!

Zihua is a safe town, but staying at a home in this location provides an additional level of reassurance. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Casa Encantadora, and we fully expect to stay here again on future visits to Z.

Zihuatenejo is just absolutely awesome! Everything was absolutely perfect. The staff...Brandon (Chef), Ruffi (Housekeeper), Beto (Pool guy/gardener/maintenance man), Gabby (House manager), were nothing short of amazing. They took such excellent care of us and were so helpful in arranging transportation if we wanted to go anywhere. I can't say enough great things about this house, THE VIEW, or the city of Zihuatenejo. We'll be making this a yearly trip. We always felt very safe too. The food was great, especially the food that chef Brandon prepared for us. Ruffi does an amazing job of keeping the house in ship shape at all times and Beto keeps everything operating & looking great, from the pool to the flowers. This is a must do trip! It does help if you can speak Spanish, but you can manage if not. I also recommend exchanging your money to Pesos as you will need it. There are places that do accept credit cards, but there are a lot of situations where you'll need Pesos. We also recommend taking a day trip out to Ixtapa Island for a relaxing day on the beautiful beaches. You can also rent snorkel gear there and enjoy the beautiful coral reef teeming with all sorts of beautiful fish. I just simply can't say enough good things about Zihuatenejo and Casa Encantadora. We feel very blessed to have discovered this vibrant, yet sleepy little slice of Heaven on Earth. We just spent 2 weeks in Casa Encantadora and it was such an amazing location. The view alone was worth it. We arrived and everyone in our group just stopped and stared. It was amazing. Ruffi, Brandon and Gustavo took great care of us and we felt spoiled and welcomed. Truly a wonderful experience!

La casa es simplemente hermosa, tiene todo lo que uno necesita para descansar y pasar unos días increíbles, la vista es maravillosa de día y de noche también. El personal es muy amable y dispuesto a cubrir las necesidades de los huéspedes. El cocinero Brandon es muy bueno y cocina delicioso. La señora Rufina encargada de limpieza hace su trabajo excelente, la casa siempre estaba limpia. El señor Gustavo encargado de la casa siempre estuvo dispuesto a llevar lo necesario para que se cocinara todos los días. Es importante mencionar que la casa está en un fraccionamiento con seguridad 24 horas por lo que te sientes muy cómodo y seguro. Gracias a todo el equipo de CASA ENCANTADORA. Sin duda la recomiendo y regresaremos pronto.

Pictures don't do this gem justice. Sweeping views, comfortable rooms, fantastic location in a gated community. The staff is INCREDIBLE -- they treated us like family. I really can't say enough about how wonderful the entire experience was.

Accommodations are awesome, staff is amazing and the view is unforgettable! How will I go back to normal life without all these luxuries? Until next time!

We love this location! There is so much of the city to see, we will have to come back again and again. The house is a phenomenal property. We ate well, slept well, drank plenty, and never tired of the view, and the hospitality of the staff. Another great trip in the books.

As I sit here and reminisce about another amazing week at Casa Encantadora and this trip was our 3rd time staying at Casa Encantadora, I’ve come to realize how hard it is to put into words what a truly magical place this is. There’s a saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. I used to believe that saying until I saw the true beauty of Casa Encantadora and Zihuatanejo. Pictures can NOT illustrate how picturesque the views are or how stunning the Casa is. As for the staff, they are second to none! Gustavo, the house manager is a true gentleman. He will make sure all your wishes, wants and needs are taken care of. Brandon is a phenomenal chief who creates delicious authentic meals and deserts. Rufi, the house keeper, has a million-peso smile that just makes you feel good and loved. I’m torn about writing this review. One part of me wants the world to know what an amazing Casa this is and the other part of me is selfish. I want to keep Casa Encantadora and Zihuatanejo a secret, only known to a select few. So, I’m going to be selfish! Please disregard all of the above!

Our group has returned for the 5th time in as many years. We still find it relaxing to lounge by the pool all day, and watch the waves from afar on Playa La Ropa. The new chef cooked some outstanding meals for us, we were so thrilled to try. We again chose not to rent a car, as it just takes an element of stress away. Taxi's are just a call away, or arranged in advance, and for a few dollars you are at your destination. If you have a big family, or group of friends, the CASA is the place to come to.

This is the third time I have booked here and either with a large group or small group, you will have a wonderful time.. All the staff are attentive, the new chef (Chef Brandon), continues in the tradition of providing great meals with wonderful presentation. Everything you need is nearby, just call Gustavo and he will bring where you wish to go. It was an amazing experience, you can rest and enjoy all delicious food that the chef prepare to you. You need to be there to know how comfortable is.

We have gone to Casa Encantadora five years in a row now. One year we went twice. It is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the bay and the Pacific Ocean. The hills on the other side of the bay are lit up like a Christmas tree in the evenings, and it never fails that one can experience a brilliant sunset. The entire home is first class, the beds are comfortable, and there is lovely attention paid to all the decor. Herminia is the cook extraordinaire. Each morning you will awaken to a hearty breakfast accompanied with fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh fruit. You then can give her your request for the afternoon meal, and you will not be disappointed. Last time she made the best chicken enchiladas and abldondigas. Ruffie, the housekeeper, keeps the bedrooms in tip top shape, and she makes the bed to perfection. Both ladies always warmly greet us and attend to our every need. Beto makes sure the pool is kept sparkling and that everything inside and out is maintained well. Gustavo is a gem. He manages the home and drives taxi and will take you anywhere you wish to go. His son can provide a second taxi. Both are reasonably priced. Gustavo arranges for any tours you wish to take, massages you wish to have, reservations you would like for a special night out. He is attentive to every detail, and a fine person. We felt completely safe at all times at the home and in the city of Zihuatanejo. We have taken our family to several luxury locations, and this has been the favorite of all of us. Also, the owners, Teresa and Rudy, are prompt with any answers. We have enjoyed visiting with them by telephone. They have been great hosts.

We've stayed at a number of homes in this development and this has been the best appointed home. Beautiful views of the city and bay both day and night. We were treated like Queens and Kings by Ruffi and Hermie. We had wonderful fruit with our mexican breakfasts every morning. We had them do chicken enchiladas for lunch 3 times as they were soooo good. Better than any of the local restaurants. The home is 4 levels so there are a lot of stairs. If you have a bad wheel like I do, they were a bit of a challenge-but they actually helped strengthen my knee over the 10 days we stayed here! We would highly recommend this home for your next vacation to paradise.....Tom and LaDonna

MOST RELAXING VACATION EVER.

Second time here and it was as wonderful as the first time. Discovered new places and things to do. Snorkeling on Ixtapa Isle, catamaran sunset cruise on the Picante with Capi Tim, dinner at Tentancione and so much more. Thanks to Teresa O. and her staff. Oh yes. A shout out to Alejandro the masseuse. Very professional and relaxing. Will definitely book again.

Just got back from Casa Encantadora WOW is my first thought. The view is Stunning daylight and evening is 2 of the most beautiful views you will ever see. The house is so inviting makes you feel so relaxed. The service we received was top notch. The food was great and well presented. We also had Alexander who is a masseuse come to the house he is amazing best massage ever. I highly recommend this house for the amazing staff , beautiful house and ultimate location. I already miss it.

Our group has stayed at the CASA several years now, and look forward to returning....The ladies that work at the CASA are fabulous, and part of the grand package. Had it not been for wanting to walk in the Ocean , we might have just stayed and relaxed beside the Infinity Pool, listening to tunes we brought along. There is a good sound system and you can play your stored music or get on the "Excellent" WiFi and stream something from your service. We relied heavily on taxi's as we just did not want to deal with self driving. The property manager was quick to arrange taxi's for us for what ever we wanted to do. This year we were fortunate enough to have our hometown football team have two televised games.....The media room was a great place for all of us to eat some snacks (home-made guacamole is to die for).. Thumbs up for certain on the CASA
