The house was great. Perfect size for our family. Location is close to all attractions. Louise is so helpful and leaves no question left unanswered. We will definitely go back!

The house was spotless and comfortable. We did some cooking and the kitchen was well appointed. A 15-20 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. Would d definitely stay there again!

I stayed here with my husband and five-year-old son. The house was very clean (and I have high standards for cleanliness), spacious for our family, and well-designed for renters. We especially liked the cheery sunroom, the fully-stocked kitchen with an island and granite countertops, the comfortable beds, and the deck and yard out back. The house is a few short blocks to the beach in a quiet neighborhood-perfect for families. Louise was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Our situation was somewhat unique, in that we’re from the Philadelphia area but live across the country. She made sure to leave things like extra pillows that would be hard for us to pack for our flight. We had a truly amazing time, and the house and Louise helped to make this a memorable and wonderful trip!

This is a wonderful property to stay at. Great location and house is very clean, is not cluttered and is easy to be in. Louise is very responsive to any need. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped. Feels like an adult home.

This VRBO was an amazing find! It was clean, exactly as advertised, well equipped. The communication before and during our stay was perfect. They even helped us figure out how to turn on the shower. Turns out the knob was simply a bit stuck. We cooked in the kitchen and ate once on the patio. We did not use the barbecue or dishwasher, so I cannot comment on those. We did wash clothes once and that went well. I recommend bringing some laundry detergent, because that was not provided. The location is great! You can walk to both the beach and the downtown district for lots of restaurants. This was our first stay in Cape May, and we loved it so much we want to come back! I am a bit leery of renting out houses because of some past experiences, but this one was A+, and we would definitely do it again!

This is a sparkling clean, aesthetically beautiful and well equipped home. Calaphon cookware was much appreciated. Two couches in living room and two in the sunroom gave us adequate living space when sharing with friends. Beds very comfortable, lots of pillows and extra blankets. Master bath a nice touch of luxury. Five stars all around.

Second time we’ve stayed in this neighborhood and so glad we found this house. First off we love this neighborhood. Quiet and peaceful. Nice wide streets and very little traffic. Close to beach and downtown. Great for walking and biking. Now for the house. Total curb appeal and once you enter it’s spotless and beautiful inside. Wonderful property - close enough to walk to town center and the beach while in a quiet neighborhood. We had a wonderful time in this perfectly arranged home for guests.

We have vacationed in Cape May for many years and know the areas we like to rent homes in. This house is in a great location being only blocks from the beach and a 15 min walk to Washington Square Mall. There are several other restaurants within walking distance as well. We are walkers so we enjoy the quietness of the neighborhoods but the ability to still walk everywhere. The house is super clean, well appointed and has everything you need for convenience. The beds were very comfortable. We never used the pull out sleeper sofa but the sunroom/den would make another great sleeping area for more people since it has pocket doors which can close the room off and make it more private. My husband really enjoyed reading in there and watching the news without disturbing anyones sleep. Louise was a wonderful communicator & very responsive. This is a lovely home choice for anyone and appreciate the owners sharing their home with us.

This property was an A+ all around. It was the perfect size for a family of 4 - 6, extremely clean, it had everything we needed, the location was walking distance to just about everything, and Loise was the perfect host. Parking was no issue at all and the neighborhood was very quiet. This was our first time in Cape May, and this house made it an incredible vacation!!

Great quiet location! Home was clean & well kept!

First time staying in Cape May and absolutely loved it! This home was in great condition and very clean however the entire visit we all felt uncomfortable as there were at least 2 ring cameras and were def being watched by the cameras AND by the neighbors. We played cornhole in the wonderful backyard with some music midday and before our 7pm dinners and still felt like we were being watched. This home is in the middle of a quiet neighborhood! There were no wild parties happening and still felt watched. Upon leaving Saturday the homeowner called to say we had broken plastic foot on her 7 year old couch and scratched her floor. She accused us of taking the broken plastic foot and throwing it behind the couch…we apologized bc we hadn’t noticed but assured her that we were very respectful of the homes pristine condition and that maybe since it was 7 years old and from Raymour and Flanagan that it has seen it’s days. We sent her 4 new feet from Amazon. If you want to be watched by ring cameras, drink your spot of tea and sit on yoga mats on the floor and listen toTommy Dorsey through your earbuds while on your summer vacation at the beach…then you have found the right house.

There are two things to review. Cape May in general and Louise's property. We have been staying in North Wildwood for the past many years with family in the same condo on the very north end of the boardwalk. It was an outstanding view but there was literally nothing else about Wildwood that we liked. The food nothing great, it feels like an adult spring break scene, people smoke on the beach even though it's not permitted, listen to loud music and every Tom, Dick and Harry has some flag espousing their political views. We were over it. We decided to go to Cape May with hopes of a classier environment, better restaurants and more to do. It was one of our best vacation decisions ever! We loved everything it. The Washington St Mall was so much fun for shopping, the restaurants were amazing (from the cheapest tacos to the fanciest dinning), and biking everywhere was the best. The beach was clean and so much less crowded than Wildwood. On to Louise's property. The house was immaculate. I am super picky about cleanliness. It has actually gotten in the way of me enjoying places that I think most people would be ok with. Louise's place smelled so clean when we walked in. I felt totally comfortable on the beds and even the couches! The home is not huge but feels spacious and it very well designed. The master bathroom was a dream. The size was great for us. It was myself, my husband and our two boys (9 & 14). Our 9 year old took the sunroom/den with the pullout couch and he loved it. There is only one TV in the den so that posed a bit of a problem. While this may sound ridiculous, we brought a TV for the master bedroom so we could binge-watch Netflix. It worked out great. In terms of access to the beach, it's a hike compared to our previous place. But we packed light (backpack chairs, a beach bag, rented the umbrella) and biked. It was actually really fun. The beaches in Cape May are different from Wildwood and Stone Harbor. There is a bit of a drop from the main part of the beach to the surf which does make long walks a bit less comfortable. Also, multiple days the waves were really intense. One day was too intense for us to fully get in. BUT every other element of beach experience made up of for it. Also, there is a comfort station and a lovely guy who sells hot dogs, drinks, etc. where Philadelphia meets the beach. 100% recommend the property itself, the location and Cape May in general!

Beautiful home! We booked to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary in Cape May. Great location and immaculate property. Would most certainly book again!

House was clean, centrally located. Pullout sofa got rough at times with the only tv in there. Pullout should be facing tv or tv in open area to seat more. The VRBO site was difficult at times to send signed documents to. Louse was good to work with.

A very well appointed house in a very quiet neighborhood. The owner kept us well informed and followed up with reminders which was very much appreciated. The house felt nearly brand new and was very tastefully decorated. It was so user friendly - from the kitchen layout, the seating areas, the laundry and even the deck. All one level made the home comfortable and safe for the grandparents. Easy access to the beach and shopping. The bedrooms and beds* were comfortable. (*Note that the 3rd bedroom is the TV room/pocket doors w/sleeper sofa - the sleeper sofa is really only for children - even with the added second mattress the springs do not support one adult -160lbs sufficiently. I improvised and slept on the floor.). Parking for two cars was helpful but there was plenty of parking the street. The lawn and landscaping was immaculate. Thanks to Louise for hosting us and making the process so uncomplicated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very clean house 5 blocks from the beach. We are an active family so we didn’t mind the walk to the beach and a further walk to Washington Street Mall. We felt at home here and highly recommend!

This is a lovely beach-themed house in a neighborhood a short drive to the shopping area and the ocean. It was spotlessly clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. Unfortunately, we did not have nice weather so we were not able to take advantage of the outdoor table and grill. Next time!

A modern kitchen and very easy to clean one floor home, blocks from the beach was a terrific experience for my family. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking to the beach and shops from this location.

Loved the house and neighborhood—owners are fantastic. Such a wonderful little weekend getaway with my wife and kids.
