I recently had the pleasure of spending my 40th birthday weekend at this casita at the Terranea Resort and I can't say enough about the incredible experience we had.
The plush king-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the large windows allowed us to wake up to the most spectacular ocean views each morning. It was like something out of a dream! The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a deep soaking tub and a separate rain shower. One of the highlights of our stay was the private patio. We spent many hours sipping coffee in the morning and wine in the evening, all while watching the waves crash against the rocks below. It was the perfect setting for relaxation and celebration. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just seeking a serene escape, I wholeheartedly recommend this casita!

This Casita far exceeded our expectations! The resort is the best hidden coastal gem in California and we never left the property. Even with some problems with our entry cards malfunctioning, the resort staff took care of it immediately each time. The units were clean and well maintained and the views could not be beat. We were able to be all together in the three rooms...although one was not adjoining but part of the of the same outdoor living area dedicated to just our group. The owner was super to work with and made sure we had what we needed. The restaurants and pools were an easy walk away and great! Highly recommend this rental!

My family was at Terranea for my son’s wedding at near by Rolling Hills Country Club. The layout, location to restaurants, private entrances, and spectacular views could not have been more perfect. We have already discussed celebrating their 1 year anniversary at this same property. Pure paradise!

The 3 bedroom condo was absolutely beautiful and very very clean. Communication with Beth was great and she was very attentive. We enjoyed every moment and only wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing!
We spent our son’s 30th birthday and Christmas at this fabulous property with his fiancé and our two other sons. We all had plenty of space and the casita is decorated beautifully. Golf course is steps away and a first class nine-hole par three. We hiked every day and enjoyed the resort’s restaurants and entertainment. We will definitely be back!

Luxury vacation with all the comforts of home.
From the moment we entered the property, every staff member was welcoming and helpful. Our every need or want was attended to with a smile and great efficiency. The casita was beautifully decorated and had all the equipment necessary to make our Thanksgiving weekend a fun one. Views of the Pacific Ocean from the balconies were breathtaking. There were so many activities offered to suit our varying tastes and talents as well. We had a lovely dinner at Catalina Kitchen one night. The food was exceptional and the service wonderful. We had a very memorable holiday with our family and highly recommend the condo and property for couples and families.

A fabulous stay at Rental 405653!
Our family could not have been happier with our weekend at Terranea in our 3 bedroom casita! We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary enjoying a beautifully decorated "home away from home" with incredible views of the Pacific Ocean in virtually every room. The casita was spacious, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean. In addition, Beth Dudas was incredibly helpful and accommodating both before our stay as we planned the activities we would participate in and during the entire weekend. We will definitely return to this beautiful place again and again!

Best place ever!
We rented 2 of Beth's places for my daughters wedding. Her units are perfect in every way! The location couldn't have been better. They were spotless and very nicely decorated. They had everything we needed leading up to the wedding and they were the perfect place to enjoy the after glow. I would recommend her places to everyone and so look forward to staying there in the future!

Beautiful place
This is an ideal place for a family group (we were 5 adults and 2 kids), especially when two of the people would like some privacy since one of the units is a breakaway unit accessed off a shared a roofed terrace with its own fireplace and seating. We chose to have keycards set to open all doors. This rental is very close to the main lodge building so walking to restaurants and pools is easy. All the units were comfortable, well-equipped, and very clean. We were very impressed with the twice daily cleaning service (set to your schedule). The staff even loaded and then emptied the dishwasher for us. Towels were always refreshed. Terranea itself is a marvelous place with beautiful grounds, wonderful restaurants, shops, several pools for different age levels (with food service), a spa with massages, and walking paths that can provide walks of a couple of miles. The ocean views from our casita terraces were as advertised. I would not hesitate, if you can handle steps, to stay here again or recommend to a friend. It a good base for touring attractions in LA—Disneyland, Universal Studios, etc. TVs conveniently allowed movie downloads. Rental seemed reasonable for such a spacious luxurious accommodations for a family getaway.

Gathering of 11 family members for Grandpa's 70th birthday. Age ranges from 15 month old twins to Grandpa. Played golf, tennis, frolicked in the pool, hiked and tried all the restaurants. Able to shop conveniently for breakfast items and snacks. Views from all rooms (we rented two three bedroom casitas) were great.

This spacious, well-appointed ocean view casita at Terranea was perfect for my family visit to the South Bay. All resort amenities were extremely close and easily accessed. Beautiful views from balconies off each of the 3 bedrooms. All of the benefits of staying at a resort, plus those of renting an entire home.

Grandma's Big Birthday
This was a perfect setting for my family (coming from three different cities) to celebrate my birthday. It's hard to please everyone, especially when they all suggest different locations. This three bedroom Casita solved it all. Location, beauty & peacefulness. We were 4 different families--total of 10, and we all enjoyed privacy when we needed it. The entire unit is just beautiful, spacious and extremely well kept. It was conveniently located near the family pool and the views were spectacular. Everyone agreed that this was a excellent choice and want to do it again....
We had breakfast and lunch in the Casita and dined in different restaurants on the property each evening. Everyone was happy. We highly recommend this vacation home. My experience dealing with the owners was easy, prompt and efficient.

Italian family graduation celebration
This was a beautiful, peaceful location. We live locally and out of town relatives were coming for my son's graduation celebration. The balcony was restful with beautiful views all the time, and the bedrooms had their own small balconies as well. There was something for everyone with the trails, pools, golf etc. and the place was large enough that we didn't feel at all crowded. The age range was 15 to mid-80s and everyone loved it. My stepdad, who is from England and is truly a world traveler declared it one of his very favorite places he has ever stayed. We will definitely come back for another family reunion.
The location was great too - off from the main resort and quiet and peaceful, but a very short walk to the pools, etc. We enjoyed hanging out there so much we didn't make it to the piano bar, and some of the restaurants we will try another time.
Also Beth was very easy to work with in the planning -very responsive via email and a pleasure.

Great place for a family
We rented both 3 bedroom casitas for 5 nights before we went into LA for our daughter's wedding. We had a total of 10 people there. These are in an excellent location- amazing view, short walk to the pool, very nice inside. The units aren't directly connected but you just walk down a private, outdoor hallway to go between them. We hired a chef through kitchensurfing.com to come in 3 different times. We hung out in one unit while he cooked in the other unit. It was a great place to stay. This resort is the type you come to and never leave. There is the pool, cove beach, an nature center where they watch whales (we saw LOTS of whale and dolphins right from our deck), etc. Nelson's restaurant was fantastic. We hope to come back.

Location - Location - Luxury & Awesome Ocean Views!
We rented this awesome ocean/Catalina view 3-Bedroom Casita in December of 2012. Our group of 3 couples loved having our own private suites with luxury baths and balconies yet being able to meet in the open fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room with a cozy fireplace. We could choose to stay and relax, order room service or take a short walk to the resort’s numerous restaurants. We loved the large balcony/lanai with patio table and lounge chairs off the living room. This Casita had one of the best locations at the resort….Privacy, quiet, plus the closest to the family and adult pools, restaurants, and trails to the beach or scenic ocean bluffs. The ocean views are panoramic and unobstructed from this top level Casita. We saw pelicans diving into the ocean and a whale in the distance! .
There was plenty of free parking plus it was convenient to walk out our front door to the golf clubhouse and start our day with a round of golf on this picturesque, yet challenging par-3 golf course. We can’t wait to return again with our families and grandchildren. The resort has great activities for all ages and this Casita is set up with its queen and twin sleeper in the living room for our expanded family of 8-10.
