This is our 4th summer in HHI and by far the best rental we have stayed in from location, to size, to cleanliness, to amenities! We will return soon!

We loved our time at 121 Mooring Buoy! The house is very close to the beach and a canal and has a nice pool. It is a beautiful home in which we were very comfortable. The only downside was the refrigerator was not working, and we had to go out to the deck to get food, drinks, etc. This was a hassle as we had a baby with us. Other than that, we had no complaints. We would definitely stay there again.

121 Mooring Buoy was actually better than shown in the photographs. The house has a long driveway and is situated on a large plot affording peace and privacy. The screened porch and deck have a beautiful view of the lagoon from which we thoroughly enjoyed watching the local wildlife. It's about 400 easy steps in total from the house to the beach along a path that runs between rows 1-3. The house was exceptionally clean, well equipped, and beautifully furnished. From the moment we walked through the front door we knew that 121 Mooring Buoy was an excellent choice. We would definitely recommend this property!

First it’s the year of COVID, I expected the home to extra clean. I did bring Clorox wipes to wipe all surfaces etc. except upon entering I immediately noticed tiny handprints all over the sliding glass doors as soon as you walked in. Every sliding glass door was filthy & even windows had tiny hand prints. Then when we started wiping surfaces, the family room was not cleaned at all!! Each surface was covered in gray dust. The kitchen island was covered in some type of stain that was an obvious spill, that we cleaned ourselves.

The pool was in terrible condition, the red bricks on the side of the pool were completely off in one area - blocked with a chair. We realized it’s the end of the summer season when we traveled there but it was a hazard and not what we expected at this price range of home.

We still love the set up of the house, it’s gorgeous on the lagoon, a short walk to the beach, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, appreciated more than ever due to COVID, we cooked way more than normal. But the cleaning of the home should be addressed & I would think it should have better maintenance throughout the season so every family visiting feels like the vacation home is in excellent condition. For us, this was our only vacation this year and was more disappointed than our other two visits.

The home was almost completely updated and very clean! the bedrooms and bathrooms were plenty large. We loved sitting on the screened in porch enjoying the view of the lagoon and made the very short walk across mooring buoy to the beach often. We've been to Hilton Head for the past 12 years and we feel this is the best location as you have lagoon views and still easy access to the private beaches of Palmetto Dunes and a great place to bike. The pool was large and we chose to heat the spa and used it every day also. Having kids, we were concerned about the pool being around the side of the house and not having direct access from the house. While I still feel this would be ideal, it wasn't much of an issue.

If I'm being picky, an Ice machine a couple laundry baskets would have been helpful!

The property was very clean, stylish, and extremely spacious. There were 5 of us and it felt like we were in a mansion. The location is nice, across the street from the beach access and everywhere we wanted to go to in Hilton Head was about 15 minutes away from the house.

Easy to the beach, nice pool, fishing off the dock on the lagoon. The house is great with open kitchen and family area, large porches (screen and open). Quick response by Sea Turtles Getaways when the gas grill needed to be replaced (new one arrived within 2 hours of our call). Highly recommend this house.

The house was beautifully appointed and made ready for us by Sea Turtle Getaways prior to our late arrival. The rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious. The house had 2 separate indoor/entertaining areas and everyone had their own "space" when required. Because of the cool temperatures, we did not have an opportunity to take advantage of the lagoon, pool, or outside screened deck
