We are three adult couples, with some needing to work remotely, and this house comfortably accommodated us. Perhaps the coolest feature is a wrap-around, covered porch with ample seating and lounging and satisfying views of the vicinity and beyond to the mountains. We enjoyed a great family get together here!

We came with a small group of friends, and loved every moment of our time here. The patio is wonderful. Sunrises and sunsets are gorgeous. The house had everything we needed -- places to gather, and places to hide away and read, work, contemplate, a terrific kitchen where we could make meals together. The host is kind and communicative, answering any and all our questions right away. We can't wait to come back! Many, many thanks to Gail for her hospitality.

This is a wonderful place to stay near Taos, relax on the patio, and hang out with family and friends. The covered patio is a highlight, along with the upper balcony and big kitchen.

The house was great! We were four adults and we had lots of room to move and to be quiet when we wanted. With four bedrooms the house can hold many more, but we like extra space when we travel. We appreciated that the house was off the beaten path even though it’s only minutes from town. The isolation made for a very relaxing stay. And if you’re looking for quiet, this is the place! We spent lots of time on the verandah looking at the spectacular views and listening to…nothing. Our host, Gail, was very helpful and accommodating. She answered a bunch of questions for us before we made the trip and was available by text/phone while we were there. All said, it was a wonderful experience! You never know with vacation rentals until you get there. We got lucky with this one!

Wonderful big Taos home with everything you need. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms for a party of 7-8 people. Close enough to town for last minute groceries. We sat on the porches, enjoyed the local sites and spent multiple days on the ski hill.

There were some dodgy reviews of the property but the price fit our budget, so we were prepared to be satisfied but not wowed. Our experience from the get-go was absolutely wonderful!
Gail (the owner) is super communicative, proactively providing us with tips and even local deals. She went out of her way to ensure that our arrival was easy, as we were taking a long road trip to get there and arrived late and exhausted. We were so grateful for her personal touches!
The property is both isolated and centrally located, which was perfect for us. Down a long driveway, with soul-inspiring views that made us all go outside to breathe in the beauty both during the mornings and the sunsets.
The house itself is helpfully stocked with random things that just make you feel like you're crashing at a friend's place -- herbs and spices, tupperware, lots and lots of plates and flatware, everything you need to make big, wonderful meals with your loved ones. And a large table for everyone to sit around, eating those meals and playing games.
The primary bathroom is a dream!!! Everyone had to take at least one shower up there, just to experience it!
Lastly, it's so dang comfy! Our four teenagers, my 85-year-old father, and my partner and I were all able to relax and feel at home. It's nice, well-appointed, but not formal or stuffy. There are plenty of spaces for gathering, and also nooks where quieter folks can take a break from the chaos. Overall, just a lovely place to hang out.

The location was great, just a few minutes drive from the plaza and the home had absolutely everything you could ever need to cook as well as plenty of bedding and towels. The home had lots of space for our family of 5 - 4 adults and 1 child - and the mini pool table and corn hole games were a fun addition. There was a slight issue with the accuracy of the listing, but that was no fault of the owner and it was addressed immediately. Communication with the owner was stellar - she is very responsive and handled our requests perfectly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this property and spent much time enjoying the beautiful views from the veranda. Enough space for each of us to have privacy of our own bedrooms and baths and comfortable gathering areas for us to hang out together. Modern amenities and fully equipped. Very close to the plaza with country like setting. The property owner was very attentive. Will definitely stay here again when in Taos.

The property has so much potential and the owners are great. The VRBO ad did not match the photos on the outside and the description was not up front that we would be sharing the property with another house and multiple families. The inside decor was really nice and the views were beautiful. We really liked the upstairs room and there was plenty of space. The water pressure was very low and finding hot water consistently was a challenge. Shower heads need to be replaced or cleaned. There were a lot of doors and parts of the house that were settled and not functioning correctly. There appeared to be electrical issues and weird wiring with a lot of extension cords throughout the house. Ample parking for an RV, but getting an RV onto the property is proved difficult. Overall there just needs to be basic maintenance done to recommend this place to a friend.

Our family was in need of a quick reservation and the host was very responsive in getting back to us promptly. The house was perfect for four adults, beds for everyone, loved the large fully equipped kitchen that opens up to the comfortable living room. Despite the cold weather conditions we enjoyed watching the sunset on the cozy front patio. Our 3 night stay was comfortable and relaxing. We really liked the location, private and off the beaten path away from tourists.

This property was perfect for exactly what we needed. We had 9 people and everyone was able to sleep comfortably. We got to take some picturesque photos from many of the decks on the house. The steam shower was an absolute game changer for us as we were skiing the whole time and it helped in the daily recovery. Definitely plan on making this a regular stop for our ski trips maybe even a summer trip.

House was listed as a "luxury" house. Couldn't be further from the truth. The "driveway" was a very long dirt/mud track where we drove by several abandoned buildings, an abandoned trailer home, and other junk. The outside of the property looked junky. Weeds overgrown, dirty. The interior of the house was not even close to the "luxury" designation and it was expensive. The place had a creepy feel to it and we only stayed 1 night vs. our 3 night reservation. We are trying to get a refund from the owner.

This is a big house with plenty of room inside & out for spending time with family & friends, but it also offers opportunities for quiet time when you need your own space. Beautiful views, away from the noise of traffic & the main plaza, while just being minutes away by car. Gail is a great host - very responsive & accommodating. We loved sitting out on the extended porch & the steam shower upstairs was a fabulous bonus! Looking forward to staying here again.

We had the best stay in Taos thanks to Gail's lovely home! To start, the property is spacious and private. There are spectacular views in every direction while being conveniently located to Taos plaza. The home has all the essentials you might need and more.
Plus, Gail was a great host! She provided wonderful recommendations and made the check in/out process super easy. We will definitely be back!

Arrived yard overgrown, flower beds not maintained, no hot water for 3 days, leaking ac in one bedroom, water pressure so bad only one shower could be used, trash and junk on side of house, abandoned buildings, property was junky, master bedroom ceiling leaked over bed soaking the mattress. Thus master bedroom could not be used. Obvious that owner let house run down. Paid for a month but because of all problems left a week early. Although asked for a refund no word from owner. In fact owner blocked messages.
