The location is perfect! Beach right across the street. Helena is great. However, The condo needs a little TLC can’t see out the windows and it needs a fresh coat of Paint. Fine for a short stay.

The property manager Helena was a gem! She really helped to make our stay more pleasant. The location was fantastic and right across the street from the beach/ocean. The inside of apartment was a little tacky. The chest/dresser was about to fall apart. There was no where to put our suitcase, so we had to use the only sofa (futon) to sit on for our luggage. There was a dining room table, so that was nice. Overall, we picked this apartment for the location. Don’t know if we’d stay again only due to ascetics. But the price and location were worth it.

GREAT location across the street from the park and the beach. Unit very clean and nicely furnished. Helena very helpful as always with any onsite requests. Early check-in and late check-out options very convenient. It was my third stay at Barbizon condo building and I will definitely consider booking there again. The rates are very reasonable and it is a relatively quiet location on the strip compared to some other, very noisy places a few blocks up north on Ocean Drive.

We stayed for 5 nights. The location was great, exactly as advertised. Right on Ocean drive where everything happens and a two minute walk to the beach. Everything was ok with the apartment. Could be a little cleaner. Downside, was a very noisy location, but as others have said, ear plugs worked! If I had to recommend something that would help the apartment, it would be a blind or darker curtains, as the outside lights shine right into the apartment at night. It’s like trying to sleep with lights on. I am a light sleeper, and usually sleep with black out blinds, but that’s just me. Overall this was place was good.

This is a great location in the middle of the South Beach action. As a result, it is loud and you won't get sleep without earplugs. The AC is loud as well so bring headphones for TV viewing. The rock solid WiFi works great for teleconferences. The beach, park and restaurants are right outside the building. All said, this was exactly as advertised/expected. I would stay here again.

Okay. So we would stay here again. It’s a studio apartment so don’t expect much. The bed is nice. The location is perfect. It’s hard to find better bang for your buck. We lived on the beach and ate gelato every day. Some drawbacks. It’s very loud outside and can be heard in the room. Relatively clean but not perfect. Had to pay an extra 20 bucks to check in late which I thought was a grift. All that said, we really enjoyed our stay more than I can say.

This was our fist time in Miami. The condo was just like it appears. It's right in the middle of anything you could want, but felt private given the gated walkway and locked front door. The beach, food, coffee, shops are literally a minute walk. Helena was really great to meet and got us checked in. We appreciated the tips on what to look for in some of the "tourist trap" restaurants. We walked to South Point Park every night. Beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the city atmosphere, being from a more rural town. We joked about the brightness in our room at night from city lights. You'll come across all sorts of people like in any city, but we never felt uncomfortable. Overall very nice place, great owner and property manager, and fun city! We'll be back and I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Fun location, Close to the beach. Check in person was very helpful in directing us to neighborhood restaurants that were much better priced with better quality food then what was on Beach AVE tourist traps

This property was like what was listed. It is NOT in a bad area. Everything is within walking distance. There is not a lot of cooking equipment (which we didn’t need). Our only recommendation is the apt needs a new mattress and new pillows and higher thread count sheets. Helena was very helpful when we checked in.

We didn’t get much sleep because you can hear people in the streets and in the units around us. The kitchen is a bit small and not conducive for cooking a meal, but we didn’t mind it because we were out and about all day.

Such fun in the sun
Wow, what a wonderful week in the sun. If you want to explore the sights, sounds and flavor right in the heart of South Beach, look no further. This studio apartment (a very cool Art Deco) is right on Ocean Ave walking distance to everything we needed.
There is a bike rental shop right around the corner that we took advantage of one day and found a very experienced staff an good quality bikes to rent. Miles of walking paths along the beach right across the street.
Communication was excellent, key exchange simple.
Yes, we would definitely stay there again.

AMAZING LOCATION, VERY NICE TO BE THERE !
The studio is very nice, larger than appears to be in the photos and full of light.
The fridge and the kitchen are new, and full equipped. The location is amazing, the beach is just across the street and all restaurants and shops are in the area. Very easy to check in and check out, the lady in charge is always ready to help. We had a pleasant stay and we will back for sure.

Beware of roaches
When I first arrived I was pleased with the room. It wasn't until I got settled was when I noticed that not only did the room have roaches but baby roaches too. I am somewhat obsessive compulsive so needless to say I was not a happy camper. Because I was on vacation I didn't spend that much time in the room thank goodness otherwise I couldn't deal. The location is great but the owner needs to do something about the bug problem.

Miami Beach Gem
Ideal apartment on Ocean Drive. Across from beach and close to restaurants, Walgreen. Amazing pizza restaurant down the street and happy hour bar. The apt. is SUPER quiet. I was pleasantly surprised by that considering the location. Brand new kitchen. It has a beach umbrella and everything. Bathroom looks like it was just redone too. It really feels like you are on vacation when you walk in the unit. Very happy. Great stay.
