Second visit, just as nice as the first. Don’t think we will be back as the walk to the dock to enjoy the lake is too steep for our aging group.

We loved our trip to Millie’s getaway! This was our first trip to lake of the ozarks so we were not familiar with the area. This home is about an hour from the touristy things for kids which was fine for us because we planned to spend most of the time at the house and on lake. We rented the pontoon boat and had fun on the lake. This side of the lake is quite and made tubing with the kids fun and a lot less stressful. We were bummed there is no canopy to provide shade for our parents. There was 4 families and we all fit very comfortably in the house. House stayed cool and the 2 kitchens was very useful during meal times. The water mat was so much fun for the kids!! They loved swimming around the dock and playing on the mat. The only other thing that would have been nice is TVs in the rooms. During family trips it’s sometimes nice to lay down and watch your own TV in the evening but overall no complaints we would love to stay again!

My cousins and I as well as some family friends met up here for a reunion. The home is incredibly spacious. The kitchens & butler's pantry were stocked so amazingly well! Nancy was very helpful and always made sure we were seen to immediately. There were a couple small disappointments that I think others should be aware of, but didn't diminish our stay, so I still gave it 5 stars. It shows the master suite with a king and 2 singles. The two singles are just mattresses, not beds so we did have to have some folks on mattresses on the ground & we put kids there so it wasn't a big deal. Also, we rented the boat that is available and when we got there found out we couldn't be out on the water after dusk because they had removed the lights. While I do understand (apparently people were getting lost on the lake at night or damaging the boat), we do know how to operate a boat and navigate and had planned on using the boat at night for fireworks and fishing. Like I said, these things were pretty minor, but if you have specific plans for using the boat after dark or if you have adults that would be unhappy with a mattress on the floor for a bed they should just be known. Overall, still a great stay.

What an amazing house! We have 7 kids, their spouses, and 9 grandkids and this house was perfect for us. So clean, large property, and right on the lake. Even better than the pictures! Thanks for an amazing week and we would definitely stay here again!

The house and grounds were wonderful, if we come back to this area, we would stay at Millie's Getaway again. It is fairly remote, so come prepared!

This is our 4th year here. We are a group of 15. We had plenty of room. This year the weather was very warm which made the stay so much fun. The property as always was very clean. The rooms are very nice size. The appliances are top notch. Nancy is very prompt with replies to questions. Will definitely stay again.

We hosted our family reunion at this property, with around 20 people. I have never rented a VRBO and was a little apprehensive. This home was BETTER than the pictures! We were very comfortable, with plenty of space for everyone! Nobody was underfoot of anyone. The property manager Nancy, was very helpful and a phone call away, if we needed her. We all talked about renting this home again next year.

This weekend was one of the best weekends ever. The home was amazing, the view was very beautiful, and the kids had an amazing time. I love the fact that the internet service was slow because it allowed us to become closer and spend more time in fellowship. The kids played outside instead of playing video games and on their mobile devices. We loved the peacefulness of the secluded home. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We will definitely recommend this place and hopefully we're able to book this summer.

Ms. Nancy was fantastic, by the time our stay was over - we wanted to adopt her as our aunt and pack her up with us😀 Ashley was very nice and accommodating as well. From the onset of our communication with Ashley right after we booked, to Ms. Nancy greeting us and being the best host EVER - our stay was AMAZING! We have absolutely no complaints at all - only compliments. It was 11 of us and we had a Christian Retreat at the property (we are very particular - and found that everything was up to par and very clean). Not only that, the atmosphere is so inviting and warm. The pictures absolutely does it no justice - YOU MUST see it in person. I have probably planned over 500 events - this has been one of the best experiences I’ve had thus far dealing with management/hosts/etc. . Don’t look for another property, Millie’s Getaway is the perfect place to create memories- they’ve thought of everything. It’s spacious enough for everyone to not feel crowded, not to mention the gorgeous view. I literally did about 49 or more hours researching places - read all the reviews, looked at all the pics - Search no more - THIS IS THE ONE!!!

This location was very clean, and a great time!! We had 11 people, and we were all accommodated for seat wise. We enjoyed the doc, kayaks, and all!

Millies Getaway was the perfect match for what we were looking for. Plenty of space for quiet time, and the most exquisite beauty of nature— catching the sunrise was a breathtaking sight! The kitchens were a chef’s dream—and we have plenty of them in the family!😃 Nancy was extremely responsive, and with a couple of visits, we enjoyed her friendship too!

This home was beautiful and great for the 18 family members who stayed there. I loved how each bedroom has its own bathroom! There is a giant table where we could all sit down together for meals and plenty of couch space for hanging out together. The lake is beautiful and great for boating, swimming, and fishing. Yes, we caught some fish! I would recommend more attention to the details such as cleaning the coffee makers & replacing the filters often. That was pretty gross so we removed it and used bottle water in the Keureg for our stay. The oven was apparently not cleaned previously so when we turned it on the house filled with smoke. We had to open the doors and air out the house even though it was hot/muggy outside. Overall, I would say this was a very nice home and a great location on the water.

We held a multi family get together for a weekend and had a blast! The rooms were great and there is a gorgeous and spacious living room where we could all hang out. We rented the pontoon boat and kayaks for a day for a reasonable price. Will come back again!

The house is outstanding. The yard is gorgeous, The dock is perfect. This is a spot of dreams with everything that is included. Would recommend to everyone and hope to go back soon this summer.

This was the perfect place for our family of 14. Plenty of room for all to be together, as well as large bedrooms for privacy. Kitchen facilities were excellent and the fire pit on the beach was perfect for us.

Great place, really secluded. 30min away from the crowds. We loved the place perfect for a quiet getaway. Only but is that the wifi is really slow and that the owner sent a msg after we rented the place that we were unable to use streaming services. You would think that with the big cost you are paying it would be included... or at least put it in the description

Traveled to this property mid August. Had amazing hot weather! The pictures online didn't do justice...the house was HUGE!!! Accommodated 17 of us perfectly with so much room! The grounds and home were very clean upon arrival. We brought our kayaks, paddle board and boat with! The boat launch was close and there was so much room on the propertie's dock! The location was perfect for us as there was not a lot of boat traffic on the lake. We were able to feel safe paddling across the lake to the cliffs. We would definitely come back! We stayed 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! Property manager lived close and was super helpful!

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. Very clean and had everything we needed. We had 4 families and had plenty of room. The property manager, Nancy, was very attentive checking in to see if we needed anything. The only issue we had was the dock needs to be maintained better. Specifically the boat slips did not have cleats & the jet ski dock was out of service Highly recommend otherwise and would return.

This home is exactly as described. We had six couples and there was plenty of space and privacy for all. Morning coffee on the deck with the view of the lake and sun coming up is priceless. When we decided to rent the pontoon a call to Nancy and she came immediately and was so awesome to work. Sitting around the fire pit on the beech at night was also a bonus with plenty of wood supplied. All six couples gave this fabulous place a five star rating and you would to if you decide to book this beautiful home to vacation.

This property is well maintained and suited the needs of our large family very well! The manager was very helpful in taking care of anything we needed! Highly recommended!

This property was perfect for our large family. We have struggled in the past to find a place that we can spread out and Millie’s did not disappoint. Enjoyed the pontoon, dock, and every thing else that the property offered. Enjoyed having coffee early in the morning and watching the deer run thru and the eagles flying around. Nancy and Ashley were wonderful to work with and we decided that this is the place from here on out that we will book for our annual family vacation. Everything was perfect, thanks again for opening up your place, we made a lot of memories.

Excellent & correct communication. Warmly welcomed by the property manager who explained all we needed to know about operating the range. She made sure we got all we wanted to rent for the lake, ie kayaks & lily pad! Wonderful house with plenty of room for everyone and games to keep the kids occupied!

We had a large number of people stay at this property for a week. For a couple of days we had up to 23. There was plenty of room for all and while the location is a little out of the way it was perfect for what we wanted.

This property was more than we expected. The pictures don't do it justice. It was beautiful inside and out. Plus our mom really really enjoyed hersaelf.

We love our stay at Millie’s! This house is beautiful, clean, and HUGE. The large, open-concept space was perfect for having multiple families and kids. And the outdoor space was beautiful. Would highly recommend staying here!

We loved the space, the lake and the service. I am very impressed with Nancy and Ashley and their quick responses to any questions. This is a great house for large groups as there is all kinds of room to walk about or relax and watch the lake. We sat on the balcony and watched the geese, enjoying the beautiful October weather. We could not ask for a more lovely vacation.

Our family of 20 spent 5 days there and wanted for nothing. Age ranges from 1-65 something for everyone. Plenty of space for quiet and relaxing alone time and large common areas for conversation and being all together. Never felt crowded. We want to go back again and again!

This is a beautiful home with plenty of space for our group of five families. We had a couple of issues early in our stay but the property manager resolved all of them quickly! One wish we had was that we could have connected directly with her ahead of time because she knows the house inside and out and a couple of items that we were told would be supplied were a bit lacking (paper goods) and other things the we thought we needed to bring (hand and dish soap) were already there. This was our first time to the Lake of the Ozarks and we fell in love with the cleanliness and warmth of the water right away. The kids enjoyed swimming off the dock as well as fishing. The property is just beautiful and we would love to return again some day!
